‘Like A No-Brainer’: Carmen Electra Joins OnlyFans To ‘Be In Control’ Of Her Image

Carmen Electra is the latest celebrity to join the content subscription site OnlyFans. 

The 50-year-old former “Baywatch” actress explained to People magazine what made her decide to sign up for an account. 

“I just felt like, ‘Yeah, I need to do this,'” Electra told the publication. “I, for once, have this opportunity to be my own boss and have my own creative vision to share with my fans without someone standing over me, telling me, ‘Don’t do this, don’t do that. Cover up this.'”

“It was like a no-brainer,” she explained.

The “How To Be Sexy” author revealed that she’ll get “a little bit more intimate” with fans on page. She also mentioned how paying customers will have access to “more sexy, classy pictures and videos.” Electra says she’ll offer content such as beauty tutorials, vacation clips, and provocative swimwear and lingerie photos.

“It does feel really good to stand up for yourself,” she said of joining the platform. “I think what we’re going through now is people are finally standing up for themselves and who they are… It’s not always easy to do, but I do respect people that can stand up for who they are and be honest about it.”

Electra also mentioned how she commemorated her fiftieth birthday with a trip to Palm Springs, which she documented and plans to share with her OnlyFans subscribers.

“It’s kind of a yearly thing because then all of my friends can come and I get a house and we just have fun. And I like to treat my friends, that’s just how I am,” the actress said. “I pay for the house and then we just have the best time barbecuing and swimming. I love it there, so I have a home away from home.”

Electra, whose real name is Tara Leigh Patrick, began her career as a singer and started gaining fame after Prince produced her debut album in 1993. She began modeling as well and was featured multiple times in Playboy, which helped establish her as a ’90s sex symbol. The Ohio native became famous after being cast on “Baywatch” alongside Pamela Anderson. This led to a stint hosting the MTV dating show “Singled Out” and several movie appearances.

The actress has never shied away from nudity, even as she gets older. Electra modeled for a nude photoshoot at the age of 46 and proudly shared the photos on Instagram at the time.
