Rapper Ice-T and his wife Coco Austin got mocked on social media for pushing their 6-year-old daughter Chanel in a stroller.
Coco shared a snapshot from a family vacation to the Bahamas with her 3 million Instagram followers. “A stroll through the @atlantisbahamas shops…Chanel is so over it unless there’s something cool to see.. Her face transitions instantly,” the model wrote, referring to the sourpuss look on her child’s face.

Followers were quick to respond in the comments, asserting that maybe Chanel had a grumpy face because she was sick of being treated like a baby.
“I know she may be your last baby but you have to let her grow up. If anything a wagon is more her age!” one commenter wrote.
“A stroller really? Let that girl grow up,” one said.
“Isn’t she like 6 yrs old! Should she be out of a stroller by now?!” another said.
“She looks like she’s over being in a baby stroller,” a third follower replied.
This isn’t the first time the “Law & Order” actor and his wife got questioned for their parenting decisions. Coco, 43, also came under fire for deciding to breastfeed her daughter for an extended period of time. She revealed in 2021 when Chanel was 5 that she would only stop nursing when the child chooses to stop.
One commenter on the new post brought up the old controversy as well.
“I’m just curious as to why she is still in a stroller and breast-feeding at six years old?” they wrote.
“Chanel still likes my boob. She’s 5 years old,” Coco told Us Weekly in July 2021. “A lot of people are like, ‘Oh, you’re not getting the nutrition after 2 years old. Why do it?’ And I’m like, My child’s eating steak and hamburgers. She just likes a little snack every now and then and more of the bonding between the mother. Why take that away from her?”
The “Ice Loves Coco” reality star explained that she mostly uses nursing as a nighttime comfort, not for nutritional impact. “She loves on it and it’s not like she’s getting milk from it,” Coco said, “but she’s getting her little snack and it’s kind of soothing her to sleep.”
Chanel herself told the publication, “You know what? The boo boo makes me sleep.”
Ultimately, the model says she doesn’t care what people think of her parenting choices. “I don’t want to deprive her of something she wants just because society says you need to stop after 2,” she confirmed to Us Weekly.
Coco has one child, Chanel, while Ice-T, 64, has two adult children from previous relationships.
