In a hilarious turn of events, the now infamous “skittles meme” posted by the son of the Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump Jr. comparing refugees to a potentially poisoned bowl of Skittles, which comically triggered leftists everywhere, actually originated as a feminist meme. Oops!
Trump Jr.’s post, seen below, prompted leftists to clutch their pearls and scold heartless Republicans—although the meme is actually accurate, considering the FBI has admitted we have no way to vet all refugees, particularly from places like Syria, and ISIS has told us they will infiltrate the refugee flow to attack America from within.
“This image says it all,” wrote Trump Jr., on Monday. “Let’s end the politically correct agenda that doesn’t put America first.”
And here’s the original feminist’s meme, comparing men to a poisoned handful of M&Ms.
It was a comedian from St. Louis, Missouri who coined the slogan two years ago, which soon enough turned into the feminist meme. Bloomberg Politics reports:
“You say not all men are monsters?” he wrote on his blog, in reaction to defenders of a man who went on a killing spree after being rejected by women. “Imagine a bowl of M&Ms. 10% of them are poisoned. Go ahead. Eat a handful.” His words were quickly taken from his blog post and made into a graphic that was associated with a movement called #YesAllWomen, which tracked misogyny against women.
Oddly enough, the left lost it’s collective mind with Trump Jr.’s meme only. I mean, how dare callous Trump Jr. use an analogy, only feminists are allowed to to that!
Funny how that works.
