Kamala Harris Was Praised For Giving To BLM Bail Funds, While Donors To Kyle Rittenhouse Fund Are Being Doxxed

This week, The Daily Wire reported “ABC4 News took a camera crew to the home of a Utah paramedic who donated $10 last summer to a defense fund for teenager Kyle Rittenhouse,” based on findings uncovered by a data breach.

“As highlighted by Daily Wire investigative reporter Luke Rosiak, The Guardian used data breached from charity website GiveSendGo to dox numerous low-level police officers and paramedics who made small donations to help colleagues targeted by Black Lives Matter,” The Daily Wire added.

In addition, the Guardian’s report included other donations, such as two $20 donations to a fund for an officer involved in the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Based on this reaction, it seems reasonable to conclude that even the most modest financial support of anyone deemed as an enemy of the Left is therefore viewed — by association — as an enemy. Apparently, donation of just $10 or $20 to anyone deemed to be “on the Right,” justifies public humiliation, making them vulnerable to further attacks in the future.

Why, then, is the same logic not applied when high-profile Democrats support far greater financial efforts in the protection of Leftists accused of crimes?

In June 2020, now-Vice President Kamala Harris promoted the Minnesota Freedom Fund (MFF), which openly stated that support “will help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota” during the protests and riots which followed the death of George Floyd.

By the organization’s own admission, MFF spent a tiny minority of the funds raised on bailing out people arrested on protest or riot-related charges. In a September 4 blog post, MFF stated: “Since the uprising, we have paid $3,475,000 for county bails with $210,000 of that being used for protest-related bails that we were able to support.”

Among those bailed out by the fund Kamala Harris openly promoted are two men charged with strangling their victims in the victims’ homes, “a suspect who shot at police, a woman accused of killing a friend, and a twice-convicted sex offender.”

As the Daily Wire reported, “The bail fund supported by a dozen members of Joe Biden’s presidential campaign and publicly praised by Vice President Kamala Harris has twice bailed out a violent rioter who has now been charged yet again.”

“Thomas Moseley, 29, has been charged with three additional offenses, according to Alpha News, including ‘fifth-degree drug possession, possession of a dangerous weapon in a courthouse, and second-degree rioting while armed with a dangerous weapon,’” The Daily Wire added.

Did Kamala Harris and the other high-profile Democrats face any consequences after promoting a fund which raised millions of dollars and directly bankrolled the release of demonstrably dangerous criminals? No. And yet, private citizens who donated just $10 and $20 to support the legal battles of other private citizens are doxxed and publicly humiliated.

The only logical conclusion that can be drawn here is that the pursuit of “justice” in terms of financial support is worthwhile for some and not others, determined solely by political affiliation, whether real or projected.

That doesn’t sound like justice to me.
