Vice President Kamala Harris visited the U.S.-Mexico southern border on Friday after months of criticism for not going to the area following Biden’s decision to place her in charge of the border crisis response three months ago.
Speaking to reporters after arriving in El Paso, Harris <a href="https://apnews.com/article/joe-biden-immigration-2c5747617f9c60b2b3be4ce99895a0b8">said</a>, “I’m glad to be here. It was always the plan to come here, and I think we’re gonna have a good productive day.”
