<p>Swedish prosecutors have dropped an investigation into a rape allegation against WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange dating back to 2010.</p>
<p>The controversial Australian is currently serving 50 weeks in jail in London for breaching his bail conditions after being forcefully removed in April from the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where he had been holed up since 2012 in an attempt to avoid extradition to Sweden.</p>
