Hollywood producer Judd Apatow’s cause of choice this Thanksgiving is America’s largest abortion provider.

This Friday, the man who brought America Seth Rogen and James Franco invites you to attend the Largo at the Coronet, where celebrity guests like Zach Galifianakis and Janeane Garafolo will implore people to give their money to save the abortion giant from the grips of President Trump.

“Andrew Bird, Maria Bamford and Zach Galifianakis will also join to help protect our girls and women to make their own decisions about their bodies and minds,” the Largo at the Coronet announced on Twitter. “Free them from the whims of the orange monster. Please join us or donate to Planned Parenthood.”

Judd Apatow is featured prominently in the promotional materials. He also advertises the event on his site. Tickets go for $50.

Celebrities have been fighting tooth and nail to keep Planned Parenthood alive during the Trump administration, though it’s confusing why they are so afraid, considering that Republicans failed to defund the abortion giant when they had control of Congress and the presidency.

Planned Parenthood held another celebrity fundraiser in 2017, in which the Old Style Guitar Shop in Los Angeles raffled off a guitar signed by over 100 musicians. In addition to big names like Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and John Legend, other celebrities whose names appeared on the guitar were The Foo Fighters, Michael Stipe (formerly of REM), composer Danny Elfman, Ryan Adams, Henry Rollins, Sam Smith, Nancy Sinatra, Mark Ronson, comedian Fred Armisen, Queens of the Stone Age, Charlie Puth, and Gary Clark, Jr.

Planned Parenthood receives over a half billion dollars a year in taxpayer funds, and while they beg for cash, the organization still has enough money to bankroll politicians. This past midterm, Planned Parenthood spent a whopping $20 million in just 8 states. From CNN:

The offensive is set to cost $20 million, an initial mark that the organization’s officials say is all but certain to be exceeded.

The investment from Planned Parenthood Action Fund and Planned Parenthood Votes, the organization’s political entities, makes it one of the biggest outside spending forces in Democratic politics headed into a cycle in which the party sees a rare opportunity to pick off GOP seats across the map.

The initial list of targets includes eight states: Arizona, Florida, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

That $20 million price tag for the midterm elections does not include the hundreds of thousands of dollars Planned Parenthood spent to sway Sens. Murkowski and Collins from voting “Yes” on Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

The abortion issue aside, one very real threat that Kavanaugh poses to Planned Parenthood is to their funding, which comes largely from taxpayers. As noted by LifeNews, the Supreme Court with Kavanaugh on the bench could be hearing a case soon on whether Title X “family planning” funds, and state-based health care dollars, can go to abortion services.

“Back in 2016, Kansas began withholding state tax dollars from Planned Parenthood in the wake of reports that the organization had been trafficking in human baby body parts,” reports the outlet. “In February of this year, the 10th Circuit ruled the State’s actions unconstitutional. In March, the State of Kansas filed a petition with the US Supreme Court to overturn this terrible ruling.”
