Iranian President Hassan Rouhani just inadvertently made the perfect case for President Trump to exit the Iran deal, a key campaign promise that Trump has yet to fulfill.

Indeed, it is in the best interests of the United States if the terror regime in Iran is starved of cash. Iran is the world’s largest state sponsor of terror, given that it has provided funding to Hamas and has been allied with al-Qaeda. Even worse, Iran has provided such voluminous support to Hezbollah that the Iranian proxy terror organization is now a dangerous threat to Israel and has established wide networks in the United States and Latin America.
Iran is also a key figure in propping up Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, who has slaughtered scores of innocent Syrians in a bloody civil war that the world has largely ignored.
The Iran deal infused $150 billion in cash to Iran’s terror regime in addition to a $1.7 billion ransom payment, providing Iran with an influx of funds to support the aforementioned terror groups, ramp up their military and obtain nuclear weapons.
Trump has long railed against the Iran deal, but he keeps re-certifying the deal at the behest of foreign policy advisors like National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster. However, recent statements from the president suggest that he just might nix the deal. The quote from Rouhani stating how cash-starved the regime would be without the deal just shows Trump needs to exit from the deal.
