Looking for evidence to see how hard-line the Democratic Party is on abortion? Look no further than the vote on The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (H.R. 4712) in the House of Representatives. By a vote of 241 to 183, the bill passed the House with just six Democrat votes.
As the bill’s title suggests, the bill would not only provide legal protections to babies born alive during a botched abortion, as its 2002 counterpart did, but hold doctors criminally liable who fail to give the baby treatment.
