Far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was slammed online on Tuesday after news broke about her alleged affair with a Democrat consultant with many calling the scandal-ridden first-term congresswoman a “homewrecker.”

A Washington, DC, mom says her political-consultant husband left her for Rep. Ilhan Omar, according to a bombshell divorce filing obtained by The Post.
Dr. Beth Mynett says her cheating spouse, Tim Mynett, told her in April that he was having an affair with the Somali-born US representative — and that he even made a “shocking declaration of love” for the Minnesota congresswoman before he ditched his wife, alleges the filing, submitted in DC Superior Court on Tuesday.
The report spurred widespread mockery of Omar, who often presents herself as being morally superior to others.
Producer Robby Starbuck tweeted: “Some homewrecker wrecked something.”
New York Post op-ed editor Sohrab Ahmari tweeted: “Ilhan Omar, Muslim-American icon—and homewrecker.”
Frequent Fox News guest Chadwick Moore tweeted: “.@IlhanMN destroyed two families. Her own, and her lover’s, all under the guise of that hijab of modesty, while marrying her gay brother and committing immigration fraud. She’s not only a criminal but fake Muslim and homewrecker. Why aren’t Muslims outraged? We know why.”
Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich tweeted: “This is exactly what I also thought of re: Omar homewrecker news”
The Daily Caller’s Derek Hunter tweeted: “At least homewrecker @IlhanMN didn’t meet this guy at a family reunion.”
Conservative commentator Erick Erickson simply tweeted: “Home wrecker.”
Omar claimed that she had not separated from her husband and was not seeing someone else in an interview with a local CBS News affiliate, adding: “As I said yesterday, I have no interest in allowing the conversation about my personal life to continue and so I have no desire to discuss it.”
Omar also refused to answer questions about allegations that she committed marriage and immigration fraud.
