During Monday night’s presidential debate, Hillary Clinton accused Donald Trump of being a sexist, specifically bringing up former Miss Universe winner Alicia Machado by name. As Hillary reiterated, Trump allegedly referred to Machado as “Miss Piggy” due to her sudden weight gain after taking the crown, and “Miss Housekeeping” to mock the then-19-year-old for her Hispanic heritage and less-than-perfect English.
Trump decided to put such an accusation to rest by turning the question around on his deeply-flawed opponent: bringing up Hillary’s habitual need to play the sexism card and, more importantly, past accusations that she threatened sexual assault victims of her husband’s, former President Bill Clinton, for political gain.
