Here’s Who’s Being Floated To Take Over The Mooch’s Position

   DailyWire.com

On Monday, after just ten days unofficially on the job, colorful New Yorker Anthony Scaramucci was ousted as White House communications director.

“Anthony Scaramucci will be leaving his role as White House Communications Director. Mr. Scaramucci felt it was best to give Chief of Staff John Kelly a clean slate and the ability to build his own team. We wish him all the best,” the White House announced in a statement Monday.

Sad!

So, who’s going to fill the vacancy left by The Mooch?

According to a report from The Daily Caller, counselor to President Donald Trump Kellyanne Conway could be set for the position. Conway, a former Republican pollster, became the first woman ever to successfully run a presidential campaign after taking over Team Trump. Per her past work, she’s widely seen as one of the few people with the ability to (momentarily) reign-in The Donald.

But there is also another name being floated out there: campaign insider Jason Miller. The New York Times reports:

Two perennial candidates to fill the post are Kellyanne Conway, a White House senior adviser and the president’s former campaign manager, and Jason Miller, who held the communications post during the campaign. Mr. Trump has long wanted to bring Mr. Miller, who serves as an informal adviser, into the administration.

It’s unclear if newly-tapped Chief of Staff General John F. Kelly will have any say in who takes the position, but it is likely he will, as it was reported that Kelly requested and received the prompt firing of Scaramucci.
