On Friday’s episode of the Call Your Girlfriend podcast, Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton’s top aide Huma Abedin explained the bizarre feelings she received upon meeting the then-First Lady for the first time: “[O]ur eyes connected and I just remember having this moment where I thought; ‘Wow, this is amazing.’”
“You know these things that happen in your life that just stick?” said Abedin, reminiscing on the encounter she had with Hillary at the age of 21. “She walked by and she shook my hand and our eyes connected and I just remember having this moment where I thought; ‘Wow, this is amazing.’”
Abedin then recalled the stunning appearance of Hillary: “And it just inspired me. You know, I still remember the look on her face. And it’s funny, and she would probably be so annoyed that I say this, but I remember thinking; ‘Oh my God, she’s so beautiful and she’s so little!’”
The Clinton aide said she met Hillary one time prior to the aforementioned enchanted meeting, but that was for some sort of group photo with new White House interns (and apparently missing all that eye-connection and unforgettable chemistry.)
The Clinton loyalist continued oozing more flattering remarks toward Hillary, cooing, “’I think that if my boss quit tomorrow, she will go down as one of the greatest American women in the history of the world.”
Abedin is seemingly the closest ally and confidant to Mrs. Clinton; the two have worked together for years. Bill Clinton’s former mistress Gennifer Flowers has suggested that the two have more than a platonic relationship.
The Daily Wire previously reported Flowers claimed that Bill Clinton told her that Hillary was a lesbian.
In a 2013 interview with the Daily Mail, Flowers said that the Clinton’s marriage was far from “traditional,” adding that she was not surprised by the rumors between Hillary and her then-transition office chief, Huma Abedin.
“I don’t know Huma or the Weiners. I just know what Bill told me and that was that he was aware that Hillary was bisexual and he didn’t care. He should know,” said Flowers.
As The Daily Mail UK notes, Abedin also curiously remarked on the current Hillary email scandal; the aide “said she was terrified about the release of her boss’ emails, especially since she is on many of the exchanges that have now been made public.”
“It’s something I can’t really think about, but I can’t even imagine what’s in those emails,” Abedin said on the podcast.
“I would probably be mortified. I have no idea. I haven’t read any of them.”

Abedin added: “I have a policy. I never read anything about myself. I could count on one hand how many actual interviews I’ve done. I’ll never read them. I just don’t want to know.”
