Here’s The Anderson Cooper Anti-Trump Tweet That Has CNN Saying He Was Hacked

   DailyWire.com

According to Anderson Cooper and his employer, “someone gained access” to his Twitter account early Wednesday morning to slam President Trump as a “tool” and a “pathetic loser.”

The tweet came in response to Trump reminding Americans that he had originally endorsed Luther Strange over Roy Moore during the primary because he believed Moore would have a difficult time winning the general election.

“The reason I originally endorsed Luther Strange (and his numbers went up mightily), is that I said Roy Moore will not be able to win the General Election,” tweeted Trump. “I was right! Roy worked hard but the deck was stacked against him!”

In response, whoever was in control of Cooper’s account tweeted, “Oh really? You endorsed him you tool! Pathetic loser.” Screenshot below (h/t The Hill):

Shortly after the “pathetic loser” tweet, CNN Communications issued a statement explaining that Cooper’s account had been hacked.

“This morning someone gained access to the handle @andersoncooper and replied to POTUS. We’re working with Twitter to secure the account,” wrote CNNPR.

Cooper also issued a statement Wednesday saying he’d been hacked and adding that he has not sent or replied to a tweet “in days.”

“[J]ust woke up to find out someone gained access to my twitter account,” he wrote. “[I] have not sent a tweet in days or replied to any tweets. We are looking into how this happened.”

In response to Jones’ upset victory on Tuesday, President Trump issued a pair of tweets. In the first, he offered his congratulations to the Democrat, but noted that Republicans “will have another shot at this seat in a very short period.”

“Congratulations to Doug Jones on a hard fought victory,” wrote Trump. “The write-i votes played a very big factor, but a win is a win. The people of Alabama are great, and the Republicans will have another shot at this seat in a very short period of time. It never ends!”

The president followed up that tweet by highlighting his warning during the primary about Moore’s chances in the general election before offering the defeated Republican a conciliatory comment.

“The reason I originally endorsed Luther Strange (and his numbers went up mightily), is that I said Roy Moore will not be able to win the General Election. I was right!” wrote Trump. “Roy worked hard but the deck was stacked against him!”
