<p>After throwing all her weight behind the socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) confirmed this week that she will support former Vice President Joe Biden if he were the Democratic Party&#8217;s nominee.</p>
<p>Speaking with late-night comedian Seth Meyers on his show Thursday, the congresswoman stated that she thinks it&#8217;s &#8220;important&#8221; that Democrats unite in November regardless of who gets the nomination, even if that nomination goes to a 77-year-old white man who was hand-picked by the establishment and who accepts money from America&#8217;s billionaire class.</p>
