Gretchen Carlson Slams Trump Over His Condemnation Of Sen. Al Franken

On Friday, following the allegations of sexual harassment against Sen. Al Franken (D-MN), President Trump tweeted the following:

In response, former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson, who, in 2016, sued the late Roger Ailes over alleged sexual harassment, tweeted:

Not unexpectedly, Carlson was smacked by Trump supporters:

President Trump has been accused by at least 12 women of sexual harassment and/or assault. NPR details each of the allegations here.

Additionally, some view the “Access Hollywood” tape in which Trump brags about grabbing women by “the p****” as an admission of sexual assault. However, the president and his defenders claim the recording simply amounts to “locker room talk.”
