Grammarly Joins SJWs To Combat ‘Gender-Biased’ Microaggressions

   DailyWire.com

In the age of snowflakes, it shouldn’t be a shock that grammar nazis have now become social justice warriors. Grammarly, a grammar-monitoring service, has now committed itself to microaggression-monitoring.

Grammarly helps remind its users to avoid “biased,” microaggressive words like “manpower” and “mankind.” Upon entering one of these problematic words, the program warns the user that they are employing “possible gender-biased language.”

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, in case you didn’t already know, the English language is a repressive system built to hurt the oppressed, namely, women. Or at least, that’s what Grammarly thinks. On what planet is the word “mankind” offensive? Oh that’s right. This one.

Nowhere in their description or promotional materials does Grammarly list monitoring for offensive comments as one of their services. Of course, Grammarly as a private company has the right to censor speech in any way they wish. That goes without saying. We also reserve the right to make fun of them for it.

Maybe Grammarly does need to do this, though. Maybe there are tons of people out there who simply don’t understand that using the word “manpower” is deeply offensive to all of us powerless women. Upon realizing this, I’m sure Grammarly users repent and reform their ways, thanking the service for saving them from their politically-incorrect faux pas. Or not.

Grammarly has not returned our request for comment.
