After last month’s decision by Major League Baseball to move their annual All-Star game out of Atlanta, GA in reaction to the state’s new election laws, the conversation surrounding sports leagues and their involvement in politics has reached a fever pitch.
Aubrey Huff, a 13-year MLB veteran and two-time World Series champion, told The Daily Wire that “players were blindsided” and that “This had nothing to do with race. This had nothing to do with politics. This had everything to do with money.”
