Former HP CEO Carly Fiorina was named as Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) vice president if he wins the GOP presidential nomination. After Cruz officially announced her as his choice, Fiorina sang onstage.
Cruz told the audience that Fiorina typically sings lullabies to his two little daughters, Caroline and Catherine, as well as texting them “heart and smiley-faced emoticons.”
That led to Fiorina breaking into song during her acceptance speech.
“I know two girls who I just adore,” Fiorina sang. “I am so happy I can see them more. Because we travel on the bus on the day, we get to play, we get to play.”
It was a moment where people could see the personal side of Cruz’s vice-president.
