Left-wing radio host and former California Democrat Party chairman Bill Press opined that “The View” co-host Joy Behar was right when she said that Vice President Mike Pence’s faith in Christianity makes him “mentally ill.”
“She’s right. She’s right,” Press declared on his Thursday show in a clip released by the Free Beacon.
First, Press played a clip of Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ comments from Wednesday’s press briefing: “He’s simply pointing out the bias. The president is pointing to the hypocrisy in the media, saying that the most horrible thing about this president and nobody addresses it.”
Press’ producer mocked Sanders’ comments, saying, “How dare you say something horrible about the most horrible president.”
After laughing at the attempt at humor, Press then opined that the White House was using the recent Roseanne Barr debacle to attack the mainstream media.
Press continued the briefing clip with Sanders saying, “Where was Bob Iger’s apology to the White House staff for Jemele Hill calling the president and anyone associated with him a white supremacist? To Christians around the world for Joy Behar calling Christianity a mental illness.”
That is when Press lost it.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa,” he said, pausing the clip. “First of all, Joy Behar apologized on the air. She said that about Mike Pence.”
That was when he launched into this diatribe. “By the way, Mike Pence’s Christianity? She’s right. She’s right.”

This is not the first time that Bill Press has expressed anti-Christian bigotry.
Newsbusters previously reported on his disgust with former Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow kneeling to pray during the games.
“I just wanted to throw up,” he told his audience.
