Elizabeth Warren Now An Action Figure (Native American Headdress Sold Separately)

After the sickening lack of diversity in the action figure industry, FCTRY is set to release a new Native American star: Senator Elizabeth Warren.

Finally.

“Product design company FCTRY is set to launch a Kickstarter campaign Tuesday to produce Elizabeth Warren action figures,” reports The Boston Globe. “The mini-US Senator from Massachusetts wears a bright blazer, rimless glasses, and looks to be shaking her tiny fist.”

FCTRY CEO and creative director Jason Feinberg says that the Warren action figure is positioned in “full defiant hero mode.”

“We’re really focusing on what she’s been focusing on,” he told the Globe.

“On the concept of fighting. Fight back. She’s a very positive fighter,” added the CEO.

The side of the box is branded with “Nevertheless, she persisted,” a reference to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s now-viral comments on Warren from back in February when the Senator was breaking congressional decorum in her opposition to then-attorney general nominee Jeff Sessions.

During the 2016 presidential campaign, FCTRY rolled out Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton action figures too, both with portions of the proceeds contributed to their respective campaign efforts.

And there was also a Trump action figure, though the Republican was meant to be sold as “a villain,” posing with his middle finger in the air. After Trump won the election and Trump supporters demanded the action figure, FCTRY brought it back, giving 100% of their proceeds to the American Civil Liberties Union.

As explained below by Daily Wire’s Aaron Bandler, the Massachusetts Senator has touted her supposed Native American heritage, for which there is no evidence and which appears to be most likely a false claim made up by Warren to help advance her career at Harvard Law:

Warren has touted her supposed Native American heritage, but it turns out her claims were likely false. Legal Insurrection explains that Warren didn’t claim to be a Native American until her 30s, when she was listed under the “Minority Law Teachers” section in the directory. When her position as Harvard Law professor became permanent, the school promoted her as a Native American, despite the fact that Warren claims she never told anyone there about her supposed heritage. There is no evidence that Warren’s family has any ancestral to ties Native Americans and Warren has never been affiliated with any particular tribe. Warren’s excuses are that she has heard “family lore” and that she has “high cheekbones,” and neither of them are supported by evidence.

Warren has even contributed recipes to a cookbook called — wait for it — Pow Wow Chow.

Nope, not kidding.

The Warren action figure will likely be available soon for purchase. Native American headdress sold separately.
