Ahead of the midterm elections, Democrats across the country are focusing on abortion — and are somehow doing it in the weirdest and dumbest ways possible.
From California to Georgia, it’s clear that Democrats aren’t even aware of what they are saying half of the time.
For example, I thought the following advertisement from Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA) was a joke. I thought it was a Saturday Night Live unfunny spoof. I thought maybe it was a Babylon Bee headline. But, I promise you it is real.
On Tuesday, Swalwell released a campaign video that forecasts the future for families in states where abortion is outlawed. So this is supposed to be a futuristic video entitled “Lock Her Up.”
Believe it or not, it opens with a family sitting around a dinner table, when suddenly two police officers knock on the door. The cops announce they’re going to be arresting the mother for unlawfully terminating a pregnancy — as if that’s the future that awaits America if the GOP wins.

It ends by saying, “Elections have consequences. Vote Democrat on November 8th. Stop Republicans from criminalizing abortion everywhere. Protect women’s rights and freedom. Please don’t do this.”
Yes, they are correct. Elections have consequences.
California you elected an idiot. His name is Eric Swalwell, and he actually thought this was a good video.
Could you imagine watching this on TV and thinking it’s real?
It’s so stupid, but this is all that the Democrats have. It’s a never-ending fear campaign to try to push and force through their policies.
First and foremost — a great irony, by the way — is that there is arguably no state that gives parents less control over their children than California.
For example, neither of my children is vaccinated. I’m very proud and open about that. I don’t mind if you do something different, but this is how I live my life.
But moms from California have written to me, saying, “We literally don’t have the option to choose that in California. California will send around the Department of Child Services if you do not get the vaccines as mandated by the state.”
So if California is going to send authorities knocking on the door, it’s probably going to be because you’re making decisions about the health of your children as it relates to vaccines.
It’s not going to be because you got an abortion.
Again, this is all fear-mongering. It’s how Democrats are able to assert control.

I would add, if anybody watched that ad and thought, “That’s why I have to vote!” then you represent a very real argument for why there should be a basic IQ test before you’re allowed to vote.
Swalwell isn’t alone in his hysteria, stupidity, and unintentional comedy.
This next story is also hilarious.
Georgia’s Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams joined MSNBC on Wednesday and claimed that more abortions could help solve the inflation problem. I wish I was kidding. I’m not.

So in other words, she’s saying. “I know you’re concerned about the gas prices. I know you’re a little concerned about what’s happening at the grocery store and that you’re spending $100 for a little slice of steak. But have you ever thought that it’s actually your fault because you had children? Actually, the problem is that you’re alive. The problem is that you’re breathing.”
It’s not that the government totally messed up and their policies have been anti-nationalistic? Right.
It’s not that President Joe Biden and other Democrats have implemented policies that made us energy-dependent, caused inflation, and wrecked the economy?
No, that’s not the problem, according to Abrams. The problem is that you’re breathing. Genius.
Why didn’t I think of that?
Oh, I know, because I am not a Democrat.
I can not imagine having the audacity to look people in the eye that are suffering and say that it’s because of children. It’s obviously because prices are through the roof.
My makeup artist told me this morning that her grocery trip for taco ingredients — not even for the shell — cost her $90 last night. Ninety dollars for taco night!
But Abrams can’t admit that the Democratic agenda caused this crisis. She can’t say. “I’m sorry, we messed up. We should have had better policies. We’re going to turn it around.”
Instead, she says, “Stop creating so many people that breathe.”
It’s basically the same as saying, “Stop being poor.”
That is the message from Democratic Party. That and that police in California will arrest you for getting an abortion, apparently. What a joke.
