The Daily Wire is debuting “The Search” — a new series featuring conversations with Ben Shapiro and various thought leaders. The first episode — featuring renowned Canadian psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson and available only to Daily Wire members — debuts on Friday, December 17, at 9:00 p.m. ET.
“On ‘The Search,’ I’m inviting our members to be a fly on the wall for behind-the-scenes, real conversations I get to have over a cup of coffee with some of the world’s most talented voices — people I’m lucky enough to call my friends,” explained Shapiro, a leading conservative commentator and Daily Wire editor emeritus. “You’ll see what we really talk about when the cameras are usually off, and when we really get to share what we’re thinking.”
“Everyone has seen Ben Shapiro battle political rivals on debate stages and press national leaders during the ‘Sunday Special.’ On The Search, we’re offering our members the experience of pulling up a chair and joining Ben and some of the world’s best minds for a cup of coffee,” said Daily Wire co-founder and co-CEO Jeremy Boreing.
The surprise release of “The Search” follows several previous expansions into the entertainment space by The Daily Wire.
In 2022, Daily Wire members will receive exclusive access to two original motion pictures. “Terror on the Prairie” stars Disney “Mandalorian” actress Gina Carano, who was ousted for her conservative beliefs, while “Shut In” stars Rainey Qualley and Vincent Gallo. Meanwhile, The Daily Wire is developing a new sports series starring former ESPN anchor Allison Williams, who lost her job after resisting the network’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
Last month, The Daily Wire debuted “Adam Carolla: Truth Yeller” — a comedy show that involves “a little stand-up, a little interview, a little improv, and a lot of laughs.” Earlier this year, conservative author and commentator Candace Owens launched her talk show, “Candace,” which features interviews and panel discussions with the world’s most influential cultural mavens.
“We’re building a cultural institution that’s taking the fight directly to Hollywood,” Boreing continued. “Our company was founded to defend American values against the predation of tyrants and radicals. Conservatives have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to win back the culture, and with the support of our members, that is exactly what we intend to do.”
The Daily Wire is having a monumental impact on the American business landscape — even beyond the news and entertainment spaces. The company is presently considered the lead plaintiff against the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine and testing mandate, which would compel private firms with 100 or more employees to either force unvaccinated employees to receive a COVID-19 vaccine or be subject to weekly testing, or lose their job.
