Christine Blasey Ford Speaks Out In First Statement Since Kavanaugh Hearing, Collects $650,000

Christine Blasey Ford, a California woman who accused then-Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh of decades-old sexual misconduct without a shred of corroborating evidence, collected nearly $650,000 from a GoFundMe account last week and released a rare statement post-Kavanaugh hearings.

Blasey Ford described the donations as a “godsend” and announced that she would finally be closing the account to further monetary offerings. Justice Kavanaugh was confirmed to the court on October 6, some seven weeks before Blasey Ford closed the account.
