When the GOP tax bill was being debated, seemingly innumerable pundits and politicians claimed that lowering the corporate tax rate would mean nothing for employees of large businesses.
While it’s unclear what will happen in the long-term, in the month following the signing of the legislation into law, multiple corporations have announced employee raises and bonuses as well as investments.
