Ariana Grande Donates Concert Proceeds To Planned Parenthood

The abortion conglomerate that celebrities and leftists say is so impoverished that it must be floated by American taxpayer dollars just got another hefty donation from an ultra-rich celebrity. This time it’s pop icon Ariana Grande, who will be donating the proceeds from her June 8 concert in Atlanta to Planned Parenthood.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Grande’s donation of $250,000 will specifically go to the Georgia Planned Parenthood in order to fight the current fetal heartbeat bill, which bans abortion the moment doctors detect an unborn child’s heartbeat in the womb.

In a statement, Planned Parenthood president Leana Wen said Grande’s “inspiring support” will enable the abortion conglomerate to fight back against the pro-life initiatives.

“Ariana Grande’s generous donation comes at a critical time — in Georgia and across the country, anti-women’s health politicians are trying to ban all safe, legal abortion,” said Wen. “This is not what the American people want, nor is it something they’ll stand for. Thanks to inspiring support like hers, Planned Parenthood can continue to fight back — in the courts, in Congress, in state houses and in the streets — against these dangerous attacks on people’s health and lives.”

Wen continued: “We are so grateful to Ariana for her longstanding commitment to supporting women’s rights and standing with Planned Parenthood to defend access to reproductive health care. We won’t stop fighting — no matter what.”

Grande’s donation to Planned Parenthood comes as Georgia faces fierce opposition from Hollywood’s top businesses, talents, and studios, all of whom have condemned the fetal heartbeat bill as an attack on women’s rights. Most recently, pop singer Lady Gaga blasted the abortion ban in Alabama as a “travesty.”

“It is an outrage to ban abortion in Alabama, period, and all the more heinous that it excludes those who have been raped or are experiencing incest, non-consensual or not,” Gaga said in a social media post. “So there’s a higher penalty for doctors who perform these operations than for most rapists? This is a travesty, and I pray for all these women and young girls who suffer at the hands of this system.”

Pop singers Selena Gomez and Rihanna have also condemned the fetal heartbeat bill in Georgia.

“To see what is happening right now in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and several other states in our country is not only deeply upsetting but seems that it can’t possibly be real in 2019,” said Selena Gomez on Instagram. “It’s no one’s business what a woman chooses to do with her body. End of story. If you want to help fight this, click on the link in my bio to find out how you can volunteer or make a donation.”

Earlier this week, CEOs from 180 different companies collectively signed a full-page ad in The New York Times condemning the abortion bans in states like Georgia and Alabama as being “bad for business.”

“Equality in the workplace is one of the most important business issues of our time,” the ad stated. “When everyone is empowered to succeed, our companies, our communities, and our economy are better for it. Restricting access to comprehensive reproductive care, including abortion, threatens the health, independence and economic stability of our employees and customers. Simply put, it goes against our values, and is bad for business.”
