Leftists are doing everything to show the utmost amount of intolerance toward the Roe v. Wade movie in the works, thus proving their two-faced nature in their call for Christians to bake cakes in violation of their sincerely-held religious beliefs.
Several weeks ago, reports surfaced that a movie about the infamous decision Roe v. Wade had been beset with all kinds of leftist bigotry as shooting got underway for the project, including cast and crew members dropping out and locations being denied.
That all occurred in New Orleans. Now, according to Page Six, which unabashedly described the film as “controversial,” the movie is having trouble with scheduled locations at iconic spots in New York City, including the Plaza and the Statue of Liberty. Only the iconic St. Patrick’s Cathedral has allowed the film to shoot as scheduled.
Of course, when the locations were confronted with this blatant intolerance, reps for the locations said the film was denied for reasons beyond its subject matter. “The filming did not move forward due to budget restrictions and potential operational impact to the guest experience,” said a Plaza rep. We hear that the film got a permit to shoot outside the Plaza on the street in the end. “They stole the shot anyway,” said a source.
When reached for comment, Loeb told us the project received special permission from St. Patrick’s to shoot inside, and had permits to film on the street outside.
Reps for the church and the Statue of Liberty did not comment.
Meanwhile, a Daily Beast reporter got into a confrontation with the film’s crew at a Washington, DC, location near the Lincoln Memorial — with each side blaming the other for the fracas.
Directed by actor Nick Loeb, whom you may recall as being central to the Sofia Vergara controversy regarding frozen embryos, the film will explore the historical events that led to the infamous Roe decision that enshrined abortion as a constitutional right.
Loeb says the film plans to tell the whole truth about Roe v. Wade, including the lies and manipulation that went into getting litigation off the ground.
“I have my own pro-life issue going on with my fight over embryos, but no one has really told the whole truth about Roe v. Wade in a film,” he said. “When I delved into this, I discovered conspiracy theories, fake news, made-up statistics and a whole lot of people involved who switched their positions from pro-choice to pro-life, including Norma.”
