Convicted terrorist Linda Evans was once a member of the Weather Underground, otherwise known as the Weathermen. She joined the organization shortly after she returned from Hanoi where she was giving comfort and aid to our enemies during the Vietnam War. Evans was also a member of Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), which invited her to speak at various conferences during which she stated, “SDS is on the side of North Vietnam and the National Liberation Front.” In other words, Evans was an enemy of America who was dedicated to a life of committing treason.
Evans was first drawn into the Weathermen by reading pamphlets issued by their leader Bernardine Dohrn. The first of these pamphlets was a “Declaration of War” against America. Shortly after it was issued, three of the Weathermen terrorists were blown up in a Greenwich Village townhouse, while making a bomb filled with nails they had intended to detonate at a dance at the nearby military base of Fort Dix.
Months later, on yet another terrorist mission, Linda Evans was arrested for transporting weapons and explosives in Michigan. She was also accused of crossing state lines to incite a riot. The charges were eventually thrown out on a technicality because the wiretaps that had identified her were conducted in violation of the Fourth Amendment.
After her release, Evans resumed her treasonous activities as a self-proclaimed fighter against various social ills such as “white privilege” and “Zionism.” In other words, she was both a race-baiter and an anti-Semite. She was also a supporter of various communist movements in Central America.
Although her anti-American activities began in the late 1960s, they continued well into the 1980s. In the late spring of 1985, she was arrested, charged and then convicted for acquiring deadly weapons. Specifically, she was planning to target the United States Capitol Building, the National War College, the Navy Yard Computer Center, the Navy Yard Officers Club, the Israeli Aircraft Industries, the FBI, and the New York Patrolman’s Benevolent Association. Her plans were ambitious but she was well armed. In her possession were well over 700 pounds of dynamite. Fortunately, Evans was sentenced to 40 years in prison. For a time, Americans were safe from the unhinged terrorist.
But then Jerry Nadler (D-New York) intervened. President William Jefferson Clinton owed the 5’4” congressional giant a favor. Although Nadler now claims an alliance with the “Me Too” Movement, he was one of Bill Clinton’s staunchest defenders during the impeachment process that was made possible only by Clinton’s serial abuse of women.
Nadler appealed to Clinton and the 42nd President had little choice but to respond. In addition to owing him for his allegiance during the Lewinsky affair, Clinton owed Nadler for helping Hillary Clinton get elected to the United States Senate. During the final hours of the Clinton presidency, Linda Evans was freed. Nadler managed to get 24 years cut off of the convicted terrorist’s sentence. Just eight months later, foreign terrorists attacked New York City. Never before was it more obvious that the people of Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn had a representative utterly morally bankrupt and unfit to represent them.
After turning on his country by helping to free a domestic terrorist, Nadler would later turn on his own people again by supporting President Obama’s dealing with Iran. This was despite the regime’s desire to wipe Israel off the map. He has failed his country and its crucial ally in the Middle East so egregiously because he has no other allegiance than to the morally bankrupt party that helps secure his hold on power.
All of this background information is fascinating considering that just last month Nadler insulted me in front of a House Subcommittee by saying that I was “too extreme” to testify before Congress. I understand that I can be a bit of a bomb thrower, metaphorically speaking. Perhaps I could win over Jerry Nadler by becoming a literal bomb thrower who actually transports dynamite across state lines in order to kill his fellow Americans. Or maybe I could turn on Israel or sodomize an intern with a cigar.
Sadly, those really are the kinds of people with whom Jerry Nadler aligns himself. And such alliances render him unfit to testify before Congress, much less to serve in it.
