On Thursday, HuffPost Canada cited various LGBT activists pushing parents to bring their children to kinky LGBT Pride Parades. The left-wing outlet categorized the activists being cited — who included a self-described activist, an LGBT Pride Parade organizer, and a “semi-retired sex therapist” — as merely “families” backing children at Pride events.
“I can’t imagine a safer place for families to bring children,” the sex therapist, known as Ren, said.
Ren claimed that Pride Parades, “from kink to nakedness, is an excellent opportunity for parents to do unbiased sex education,” noted HuffPost Canada.
“Children benefit from seeing people loving one another, from seeing diversity and inclusion. Children suffer from seeing violence and fear, hatred and divisiveness,” she said. “We found and built our tribe at these gatherings.”
Rationalizing kids at “kinky” Pride Parents, educator and self-described activist S. Bear Bergman asserted, “First of all, nobody likes nakedness more than children.”
“On the list of things that I don’t want my children ever to be exposed to are: Compulsory heterosexuality, demonstrations of sexism, demonstrations of racism, demonstrations of ablism, violence. These are all way higher on the list than some homosexual’s tuchus,” he said.
According to Bergman, “There is absolutely no reason not to take our kids to Pride — it’s a fun day, there are a lot of bubbles, rainbow streamers and enjoyable performances,” he said, adding that such parades are “cultural festivals” to LGBT folks.
“It’s their right as queer spawn. And as a parent, I might want to take my kids to Pride, because they might be lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer or two-spirit,” he said.
Bergman takes his children to the Toronto Pride every year, HuffPost Canada noted.
David Rayside, a retired politics and sexual diversity professor at the University of Toronto, told HuffPost that he’s “seen thousands of kids at Pride, and I’ve never seen anyone fuss about what they see there.”
“Pride has always had a kind of outrageous edge to it. And should we alter that? It is not the Santa Claus parade, and it never was. It shouldn’t be. It can’t be,” the former professor noted.
Parker Chapple, the executive director of Calgary Pride, also agreed that children should attend Pride Parades. “I’ve always passed that opportunity on to my children as a learning opportunity, so they can appreciate the work, the heartache, the celebration that our community put into gaining protection,” Chappel said.
The far-left has been increasingly pushing the sexualization of children via alleged LGBT activism. For example, a disturbing video has surfaced online showcasing a young boy so-called “twerking” at a Pride Parade. He is wearing a pair of tight jeans and no shirt; he is surrounded by adults cheering on his “twerking.”
A popular “drag kid” pushed by the mainstream media, known as “Desmond is Amazing,” gave a speech at the NYC Pride Rally in June of 2017 at Foley Square, when he was just 10 years old. Desmond is the same child who had dollar bills handed to him by howling NYC gay bar patrons as he, then 11 years old, bounced around on stage in full drag.
