Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has repeatedly refused to condemn the far-left terror attack on the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Tacoma, Washington over the weekend, which comes after she has repeatedly demonized the agency.
A man who identified himself as part of the far-left extremist group Antifa "was armed with a rifle and incendiary devices that he was tossing at the Northwest Detention Center early Saturday morning," CBS-affiliate KIRO-7 reported.
The attacker repeatedly called the facilities "concentration camps" in a manifesto that was obtained by the local media outlet. The media has repeatedly tried to tie manifestos of white nationalist terrorists to President Donald Trump, suggesting that he was somehow responsible for attacks on a synagogue and on a mosque. The media has not held Ocaiso-Cortez to the same standard, even though she single-handedly interjected the "concentration camp" rhetoric into U.S. politics.
The Rebel, a conservative publication based out of Canada, pressed Ocasio-Cortez about the issue on Monday in Washington, D.C.
Ocasio-Cortez was asked about her rhetoric and whether she would condemn the attack. Ocasio-Cortez refused to answer the question.
