WATCH: GOP Mocks Democrat ‘Civil War’ In New Video, And It's Brutal

On Tuesday, the official Twitter account for the Republican National Committee released a brutal video targeting Congressional Democrats’ “civil war” between the old Left — headed by House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) — and new Left, including radical freshman lawmakers Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA).

The video, entitled “Democrat Civil War: Socialism Rising,” cuts between clips of controversies generated by the newcomers and experienced representatives, such as Pelosi, belittling the newcomers' “influence.”

One of the controversies covered in the clip includes Rep. Omar’s past comments concerning Jewish lawmakers’ supposed “dual allegiance” to Israel.

“I want to talk about the political influence in this country that says it is okay for people to push for allegiance to a foreign country,” Omar said while on a panel alongside Rep. Talib, according to New York Magazine.

Pelosi was forced to condemn Omar’s remarks; likewise Rep. Eliot Engel (D-NY), the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, slammed the commentary as “vile.”

“I welcome debate in Congress based on the merits of policy, but it’s unacceptable and deeply offensive to call into question the loyalty of fellow American citizens because of their political views, including support for the U.S.-Israel relationship,” Engel, who is Jewish, said in a statement, adding that her “comments were outrageous and deeply hurtful, and I ask that she retract them, apologize, and commit to making her case on policy issues without resorting to attacks that have no place in the Foreign Affairs Committee or the House of Representatives.”

Another battle sparked when Pelosi famously dismissed Rep. Ocasio-Cortez’s outrageously expensive and widely-panned “Green New Deal.”

“We welcome all the enthusiasm that people want to put on the table, and the Green New Deal is one of them, but we have to operate in a way that’s evidence-based, current in its data,” the House Speaker said.

Last week, another heated exchange between the two sects broke out. As reported by The Daily Wire’s Emily Zanotti on Monday, Pelosi hit back at the freshman progressives in The New York Times for refusing to “fall in line behind the Democratic caucus and approve a $4.5 billion emergency spending bill aimed at addressing the humanitarian crisis at the southern border, even after the quartet complained loudly of the treatment asylum seekers were receiving.”

“All these people have their public whatever and their Twitter world. But they didn’t have any following. They’re four people and that’s how many votes they got,” Pelosi said, later adding, "We have to have a solution, not just a Twitter fight. If the left doesn’t think I’m left enough, so be it."

Ouch.

“That public 'whatever' is called public sentiment,” AOC shot back, ironically on Twitter. “And wielding the power to shift it is how we actually achieve meaningful change in this country.”

“Patetico!” Rep. Omar piled on, again via Twitter. “You know they’re just salty about WHO is wielding the power to shift ‘public sentiment’ these days, sis. Sorry not sorry.”

As noted by Zanotti, Rep. Tlaib also said over the airwaves that Pelosi is now “standing by" while "brown and black children are dehumanized."
