Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams acknowledged that she lost the election to Republican gubernatorial candidate Brian Kemp on Friday, but she refused to officially concede because she believes the Republicans stole the election.
"I acknowledge that former Secretary of State Brian Kemp will be certified as the victor in the 2018 gubernatorial election," Abrams said.
"Let’s be clear: This is not a speech of concession because concession means to acknowledge an action is right, true or proper," Abrams continued. "As a woman of conscience and faith, I cannot concede that."
Abrams, a far-left Democrat, openly supported known anti-Semites, saying that she was "proud" to stand with them:
Democrats have been bracing for Abrams loss for days, with two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and failed Ohio Democratic candidate Sherrod Brown both claiming that if she lost that it's because the Republicans stole the election.
"I know Stacey well - she was one of my really strong surrogates in the campaign," Clinton said this week. "If she'd had a fair election, she already would have won."
"If Stacey Abrams doesn’t win in Georgia, they stole it," Brown said, without evidence. "It's clear. It's clear. I say that publicly. It's clear."
MSNBC's Joy Reid – who is a documented liar, Islamophobe, racist, anti-Semite, conspiracy theorist, woman-hater, and homophobe – also lied and spread conspiracy theories over Abrams' pending loss, claiming that Kemp "bioengineered" the election.
Members of the media weighed in on Abrams speech, pointing out the Democrats' hypocrisy in refusing to accept free and fair elections as legitimate:
"Not shocking that she's a sore loser, she probably read and believed all the glowing press leading up to the election," Derek Hunter tweeted. "What is surprising is how no Democrats are telling her it's over. Same for @AndrewGillum and @SenBillNelson in Florida. They're making the party look really bad."
"Look forward to the media panic about delegitimizing elections," Ben Shapiro tweeted.
"More Jim Hanson Retweeted Ryan Saavedra This is a sad, sorry excuse for a human being," Jim Hanson tweeted.
"Remember that time Democrats freaked out about Trump hypothetically not accepting the results of the election if he lost? LOLOLOL," Liz Wheeler tweeted.
"Are we going to be hearing from Dem pundits that Stacey is undermining the integrity of democracy by refusing the accept the results of this (fair) election?" Allie Beth Stuckey tweeted.
