A group of men appearing to belong to the Black Panther Party marched in Atlanta, Georgia over the weekend showing their support for far-left Democratic gubernatorial nominee Stacey Abrams while they were armed with rifles.
"The picture was posted on the group's Facebook page and the caption says they're 'not working with any campaign --but rallying against voter suppression,'" CBS 46 reported.
"It's no surprise that militant Black Panthers are armed and patrolling the streets of Georgia for Stacey Abrams," Ryan Mahoney, communications director for Kemp for Governor, said in a statement to CBS 46. "The Black Panthers are a radical hate group with a racist and anti-Semitic agenda. They are dangerous and encourage violence against our men and women in uniform."
"Stacey Abrams should immediately denounce the Black Panthers and their hateful record of racism," the statement continued. "She should stand against and condemn their attempts to intimidate hardworking Georgia voters just days before the election."
What's ironic about the Black Panther Party marching in support of Abrams while armed with semi-automatic rifles is the fact that she has stated multiple times that she wants to ban semi-automatic rifles and she supports having the government confiscate people's firearms.
