Nike's decision to make National Anthem-protesting Colin Kaepernick the company's new "Just Do It" poster boy has inspired some of the best trolling the internet has to offer.

Less than a week has passed, and social media is already flowing with memes of mockery and contempt for the company that thought it was a sound business decision to promote an ex-NFL backup quarterback who trashes the American flag, slanders police officers, and wears T-shirts promoting communist dictators.

"Believe in something. Even it means sacrificing everything," was the catchphrase Nike plastered over a dramatic black-and-white photo of Kaepernick staring out into an oppressive world that has made him a multi-millionaire. For reference:

Nike, of course, intended this piece of obvious pandering to be an inspirational support of protest in the vein of Muhammad Ali; so far, it has inspired mostly mockery. Here are the top 10 anti-Nike memes:

10.) THANOS

9.) CHER

8.) MIKE TYSON

7.) TRUMP

6.) OCASIO-CORTEZ

5.) RACHEL DOLEZAL

4.) DWIGHT SCHRUTE

3.) ALEX JONES

2.) ANTHONY WEINER

1.) NIKE SWEATSHOP (no joke here)
