Within ten seconds of Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation hearings, Democrats immediately began to showboat.
Before Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley could even finish his opening sentence, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) immediately interrupted to ask that the hearings be delayed in order to review 42,000 documents pertaining to Kavanaugh that were dumped on the Senate last night.
"We cannot possibly move forward," Harris said, prompting applause from the audience.
Harris' recalcitrance was met with Grassley declaring her "out of order."
The California Senator was immediately joined by Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) and every other Democrat in the room, all of whom hijacked the moment with melodramatic grandstanding and cries of unfairness.
"I think you are taking advantage of my decency and my integrity," Grassley said.
Grassley continued to let them speak while rejecting their requests as members of the audience shouted from the back. The disruptions went on for a full ten minutes.
