WATCH: Ocasio-Cortez Has A Pelosi Moment When Trying To Describe Pelosi

Speaking with CNN’s Chris Cuomo, Democratic Socialist darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez displayed her vast knowledge of the American governmental system as she referenced House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, showing she knew exactly what Pelosi’s job was.

Ocasio-Cortez blithely stated, “I think absolutely right now…she is, she is the leader of, of…no, no, she, I mean, um, um, speaker or rather leader Pelosi hopefully, y’know, we’ll see…she’s uh…she’s the current leader of the party and I think that the party absolutely does have its leadership in the House and Senate, we have our leadership in the Senate as well.”

Ocasio-Cortez has displayed her erudition before, claiming "Unemployment Is Low Because Everyone Has Two Jobs," asserting that “the upper middle class does not exist anymore in America,” and hilariously stating, "One of the biggest problems that we have is 200 million Americans make less than $20,000 a year. That’s 40 percent of this country."

As MRCTV pointed out regarding the last claim, “If 200 million Americans equates to 40 percent of the country, that’d mean there are a whopping 500 million Americans in total. Except that there aren’t – there are about 328 million, meaning that 200 million would make up about 61 percent of the total national population, not 40."
