On Monday, CNN's White House correspondent Jim Acosta — the man who has become the embodiment of all that is wrong with the mainstream media — was shut down by a Trump aide for continuously shouting questions at the president during a photo op with Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte.
"Mr. President, Mr. President," bellowed Acosta, "if there was no collusion, why does Rudy Giuliani consider there's no crime in collusion?"
A Trump aide quickly interceded to encourage the CNN correspondent to move along. "Move, Jim!" yelled the female staffer. "Let’s go! Keep going, Jim. Let’s go. We’re leaving. Come on, Jim. Go. We’re done."
A video of the interaction was posted by Mediaite's Evan Rosenfeld, as seen below.
Acosta was referring to Giuliani's recent comments on the Russia/Trump collusion accusation, for which there is still no evidence.
"I’ve been sitting here, looking in the federal code, trying to find collusion as a crime. Collusion in not a crime. Everything that’s been released so far shows the president absolutely innocent. He didn’t do anything wrong," said Giuliani, who's serving as one of Trump's attorneys. "The last two tapes are evidence in his favor."
