The folks over at The Washington Free Beacon decided to have some fun at the expense of "the future" of the Democratic Party, the openly socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, by compiling for posterity a greatest hits of her most radical left comments.
Among the statements that made the Free Beacon's "SUPERcut" are several remarks from Ocasio-Cortez's much-maligned interview with PBS's "Firing Line," including her explanation for the record-low unemployment under Trump.
"Well, unemployment is low because everyone has two jobs," she explains. "Unemployment is low because people are working 60, 70, 80 hours a week and can barely feed their kids."
Her comments to PBS on America's problematic "hyper-capitalism" also made the cut. "So I do think right now we have this no holds barred, wild west hyper-capitalism," she says. "What that means is profit at any cost. Capitalism has not always existed in the world and will not always exist in the world."
Then there's her take on Israel's "occupation of Palestine." Israel's killing of Hamas terrorists was a "massacre" she declares, comparing it to killing innocent American citizens. "I also think that what people are starting to see, at least, in the occupation of Palestine, is just an increasing crisis of humanitarian condition," she says.
Her allegation on CNN that ICE is running "black sites" at the border also made the reel. The Free Beacon notes that the Democratic candidate managed to produce this pretty impressive greatest hits "in less than a month." WATCH:
