On Monday, the virulently anti-Semitic icon of the Women’s March, Linda Sarsour, decided to attack the idea of President Trump as the greatest president for the Jewish people in American history in the most ironic way possible: by sanctimoniously citing someone else’s supposed anti-Semitism.

Sarsour’s odyssey into hypocrisy was precipitated by Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk’s simple homage to Trump:

Sarsour responded:

Sarsour was apparently referring to Robert Jeffress, the Southern Baptist preacher who is open about his faith teaching him that only those who believe in Jesus Christ will be saved. Jeffress was not referencing Jews alone, but any non-believers when he made his position known at the 2011 Values Voter Summit in 2011. On Monday, he reiterated, "Historic Christianity has taught for 2,000 years that salvation is through faith in Christ alone. The fact that I, along with tens of millions of evangelical Christians around the world, continue to espouse that belief, is neither bigoted nor newsworthy.”

The salient point is that Jeffress has been an ardent supporter of the state of Israel for years. Sarsour, on the other hand, has consistently demonstrated her own anti-Semitism, including her support of the BDS movement targeting Israel. For her to cite Jeffress as an anti-Semite when all of his actions support the Jewish homeland is only too typical of her.

Sarsour’s hypocrisy was lambasted on Twitter:
