Kanye West may be blowing up Twitter with his political and philosophical musings, but it's his wife and mother-in-law who are working overtime.
Kim Kardashian West and her mother-slash-manager Kris Jenner, are both wildly protective of the Kardashian brand, and Kanye West has always been a bit of a threat to the multi-million dollar reality television empire the pair have built over the last two decades. But few people could have predicted the Kardashian brand would suffer because Kanye decided to pull the lever for the GOP.
Now that leftists are losing their minds over Kanye's change of heart, Kim Kardashian is pulling out all the stops to do social media damage control, Tweeting about Kanye's love for President Donald Trump herself, and reminding her husband to be more diplomatic when airing his political opinion.
Kanye will never run in the race of popular opinion and we know that and that’s why I love him and respect him and in a few years when someone else says the same exact thing but they aren’t labeled the way he is and you will all praise them! Kanye is years ahead of his time— Kim Kardashian West (@KimKardashian) April 25, 2018
The reality television star also hit out at "media" who are questioning Kanye's mental health.
Mental Health is no joke and the media needs to stop spitting that out so casually. Bottom line— Kim Kardashian West (@KimKardashian) April 25, 2018
She even forced Kanye to Tweet a mild mea culpa.
my wife just called me and she wanted me to make this clear to everyone. I don't agree with everything Trump does. I don't agree 100% with anyone but myself.— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) April 25, 2018
But you know the Kardashians are really worried about their brand when they call in Kris Jenner, the hard-hitting, take-no-prisoners family matriarch, who runs all of her daughters' careers, and has helped Kanye stay in the limelight these last few years.
Nope...not true! https://t.co/2pQYQssy7B— Kris Jenner (@KrisJenner) April 25, 2018
In the war between the Left and Kris Jenner, Kris Jenner will win.
