Celebrities and feminists shout like Chicken Littles the moment conservatives conjoin "defund" and "Planned Parenthood."
"Think of all the women who will die!" they often rage.
Abortion conglomerate Planned Parenthood receives a staggering half a billion dollars in taxpayer funds per year, money they gain by morally blackmailing the public into bankrolling their operation. Yet while they hold out their panhandles on the street with one hand, they conceal their bag full of cash behind their backs with the other. If Planned Parenthood was so starved for funds, then how are they able to dish out a whopping $30 million on the upcoming midterms?
According to LifeNews, Planned Parenthood will be doing their off-Broadway rendition of "Big Spender" in the states of Florida, Michigan, and Nevada, where they will target as many as 2.5 million voters to mobilize for the upcoming midterms.
"On Monday, the pro-abortion coalition, which calls itself 'Win Justice,' announced plans to reach 2.5 million voters who are young adults, women and people of color," reports LifeNews. "The pro-abortion coalition is made up of Planned Parenthood Votes, the Center for Community Change Action, Color Of Change PAC and the Service Employees International Union."
The coalition will focus on key U.S. Senate races in hopes of blocking any future pro-life legislation to come out of this administration, including the defunding of Planned Parenthood. Most crucial, a U.S. Senate stacked with pro-abortion Democrats will mean the blockage of Trump's judicial nominees. Even with a Republican-controlled Senate, albeit narrowly, Democrats still have the power to filibuster pro-life legislation.
The Trump administration, while still signing omnibus bills that fund the abortion giant, has been particularly hostile toward Planned Parenthood, including the reinstitution of the Mexico City Policy, which defunds PP's global initiative. Deirdre Schifeling, executive director of Planned Parenthood Votes, says that the mid-terms will be won by energizing their base.
“The Trump-Pence administration has rolled out discriminatory rules and policies that undermine our basic rights and freedoms,” Schifeling said. “To win in 2018, we need to channel the unprecedented energy and activism we’ve seen in response to these attacks towards winning at the ballot box.”
Planned Parenthood spent more than $38 million to back Hillary Clinton and other Democrats during the 2016 election. The organization aborts approximately 320,000 unborn babies annually.
