The brother of the confessed Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooter was arrested at the school on Monday for trespassing.
The 18-year-old brother was arrested for trespassing after the school had warned him multiple times to stay away from the campus. USA Today reports:
The report says the teen was found riding his skateboard at the school though he had received prior warnings from school officials to stay away from the campus. The report adds that [the shooter's brother] told the arresting deputy that he was there to “reflect on the school shooting and to soak it in.”
According to the Palm Beach Post, "The sheriff’s office said (shooter's brother) was previously warned by school officials to stay away from the campus. But at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, he rode his skateboard through the campus, surpassing all locked doors and gates, according to the report."
Before the shootings at the high school, the shooter's brother lived with his brother and family friend, Rocxanne Deschamps, in a Lantana-area mobile home. That followed the brothers' mother dying on November 1. Both brothers previously attended the high school.
