Give me the president excited by Forbes over the one aroused by Alinsky any day of the week. So long as the labor is un-coerced, I take a laissez-faire attitude toward individuals’ sex lives. All but the most selfish liberty-loving lovers engage in a little Forbes-play every now and again, and their hands are best kept invisible.
Alas, the mainstream media insist on running unreliable tabloid pornography detailing the alleged sexual exploits between the president and a porn star 12 years ago, including a supposed spanking with a copy of Forbes Magazine. The adult film actress Stormy Daniels released a statement on January 10 insisting,
I recently became aware that certain news outlets are alleging that I had a sexual and/or romantic affair with Donald Trump many, many, many years ago. I am stating with complete clarity that this is absolutely false. My involvement with Donald Trump was limited to a few public appearances and nothing more. When I met Donald Trump, he was gracious, professional and a complete gentleman to me and EVERYONE in my presence.
Rumors that I have received hush money from Donald Trump are completely false. If indeed I did have a relationship with Donald Trump, trust me, you wouldn’t be reading about it in the news, you would be reading about it in my book. But the fact of the matter is, these stories are not true.
Now InTouch Weekly claims to possess an unpublished interview from 2011 outlining the lurid details of their alleged affair. The interview should be dismissed out of hand, not because President Trump didn’t engage in the affair, but rather because in either case Trump’s alleged paramour is a confirmed liar. If the interview is legitimate and they never had sex, she lied in the magazine; if they did, she lied in the letter.
More to the point, everybody already knows about President Trump’s extramarital affairs in prior decades, which tabloids have covered extensively since the early 1990s. The president’s personal moral failings were baked into the price of voting for him in November 2016. The American people preferred the loud-mouth lech with a patriotic plan to the feckless leftist crook, particularly after Barack Obama spent eight years spanking our collective derrière with Rules for Radicals that left America less secure, less rich, and less free.
We, the people, hire the president to perform a job and protect our liberties. Per the Constitution, he must command the military; make treaties; appoint ambassadors, judges, and other public officials; give to the Congress information on the State of the Union; recommend legislation; and faithfully execute the laws. By all accounts President Trump has thus far performed those duties better than many, if not most, of his predecessors.
That’s why the mainstream media need to dig up and report a long-discarded tabloid interview recanted by the very porn star who gave it. With the economy soaring, the world order in recovery, tax reform, deregulation, originalist judicial appointments — in a phrase, with liberty expanding — desperate Democrats and frivolous Republicans must become pimps to smack the man who made them look like fools. Ignore their pathetic pornography, and let the good times roll.
