Within hours of the horrific shooting at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas, Democratic lawmakers, progressive political pundits, and media figures were calling for gun control on social media:

As of this publication, authorities in Texas haven’t revealed the identity of the shooter, the make and model of his firearms, or the means by which he acquired his weapons.

Without this necessary data, one cannot know what laws, if any, could have prevented the Sutherland shooter from committing this massacre.

While dozens of Texans grieve the loss of their loved ones, and the injured fight for their lives in local hospitals, progressive leaders are using social media in a most unseemly way – as a tool to virtue signal and advance a political agenda.
