The 92nd annual Academy Award nominations were released on Monday. Leading the pack with a total of 11 nods, including Best Picture, is Todd Philips’ “Joker,” trailed closely behind by Martin Scorsese’s “The Irishman.” The streaming giant Netflix enjoyed a total of 20 nominations between “The Two Popes,” “Marriage Story,” and “The Irishman.”

Even though Taron Egerton received the Best Actor Golden Globe (Musical or Comedy) for his performance as Elton John in “Rocketman,” his name did not make this year’s Oscar list. Neither did Actress Jennifer Lopez for her supporting role in “Hustlers.”
