The House of Representatives has introduced new rules banning gendered language, including eliminating the words, “he, she, father, mother, son, and daughter,” from federal code.

The rule change does not ban the use of gendered language in the House. Instead, it renames specific, official language found in the House rules. These things may seem trivial but end up having a big impact on our society in a bad way.
