Many articulate writers on this site and a horde of others have earnestly expressed their contempt for Donald Trump. Thousands of words have filled hundreds of columns claiming the New York real estate magnate is not a conservative. Among the nicer labels, he has been described as boorish, a misogynist and unqualified to seek the highest office in the land. They unequivocally argue that a Trump victory will destroy the American conservative movement. These pundits believe we can wait and fight again another day when we have the perfect conservative candidate. So rather than support Trump, albeit not a perfect candidate, our conservative friends suggest they will write-in a name or not vote at all. But these morally righteous good people surely understand that not voting for Trump will help usher Hillary Clinton and her criminal enterprise into the White House.
To arise from a deep slumber Wednesday, November 9th to a Clinton win and Democratic control of the Senate, would be a nightmare of infinite horror.
What is it that Trump espouses that is so revolting to fellow conservatives? He supports a stronger US military deterrent, protected borders, massive reductions in onerous taxation and bureaucratic regulations, favorable trade deals and he is pro-life. Trump was criticized for his correct and sensible call to temporarily halt Muslim immigration into the US. Did 9/11, the Boston bombings, Ft. Hood, San Bernardino and the recent Orlando massacre teach us anything? He is entrepreneurial, gutsy and a risk-taker; the boldness and determination that built the backbone of the world&#8217;s most powerful and successful economy. He has had wild success and business failures. At least he passionately pursues the great American dream rather than stand on the sidelines with contempt at others success; a seemingly democratic party trait.

On the other hand, Hillary Clinton&#8217;s has a dark vision of America. Forgetting our exceptionalism as a nation of law and order, she views an open borders USA as one of many equals among the global community. Her years in government have produced radical change for the worst. In concert with President Obama, the Middle East is on fire and the Russians and Chinese are as militarily aggressive as ever. Obama and Clinton paved the way for Iran, the largest purveyor of worldwide terrorism, to legally develop nuclear weapons while threatening a future Holocaust. The FBI is spending massive resources investigating her admitted carelessness with classified information. She has been called a &#8220;congenital liar&#8221; and has done nothing to counter that description. Under Clinton&#8217;s tutelage, the United States will become more endangered while being placed on sale to the highest bidder. Her history proves she will do nothing nor has the capacity or interest to work with Congress to control spending toward reducing our dangerous and out of control debt. Hillarycare may replace Obamacare, creating a government-controlled one-payer system and the destruction of America&#8217;s unsurpassed health care system.
Why would anyone vote for their own country&#8217;s degradation?
It isn&#8217;t that Donald Trump is without fault. We have witnessed much. But Trump&#8217;s history of locker room comments a decade ago or his business challenges were never at the expense of our national security. On the other hand, Mrs. Clinton&#8217;s entire self-enriching 30-year career took precedent over the lives of our fellow citizens. Think Benghazi and the sale of US uranium assets to Russia.
Carefully consider your vote Tuesday. It might help save a sinking ship and create a brighter Wednesday.

The United States is facing the most important election since its founding. Will a leftist President hell bent on fulfilling the Obama Doctrine of depleting our liberties be elected? Or, will we elect a President determined to return the USA to its rightful leadership position in a troubled world? America is a powder keg of challenges. Much to our detriment, those challenges are not being seriously addressed by the candidates or the media. 
President Obama has spent two terms publicly denying our country&#8217;s exceptionalism and demeaning its greatness. He has enriched venomous enemies while smugly ignoring, insulting and boorishly lecturing friends. The hallmark of his Presidency is one of trampling on individual rights, greater racial anger, a strange attachment and defense of Islam, denigrating Christianity and guiding the most anti-Israel Administration since its modern day founding. He successfully pursued the Alinsky dream of socializing and damaging America&#8217;s health care, increasing national debt to unstainable levels and obliterated the hopes and dreams of the middle class particularly the African American community. &#8220;Sequestration&#8221; targeting the military budget was created by Obama&#8217;s lack of leadership or disinterest in working with both sides of the Congressional aisle. This has led to a vast reduction in our military capabilities at a time the world&#8217;s diabolical regimes have increased theirs.
But media focus on the trivial, not the real issues, may help usher in yet another four to eight disastrous years perhaps worse than those we just muddled through?
We will soon witness the end of Obama&#8217;s White House stay, his multi-million dollar vacations, golf outings and open arms to despots. What awaits the next Administration will require someone of heroic fortitude. For he or she will take a solemn oath to protect a nation with greater threats to its survival than at any time in history.

Islamic terrorism and one of its many surrogates, ISIS, promises a massive &#8220;event&#8221; here in the US. They are committing genocide all over the Middle East. Europe, which foolishly opened their borders to millions of un-vetted Islamic immigrants, is now the victim of terror as witnessed in Belgium last week and Paris last year. In addition to Islamic terrorism, both American-haters North Korea and Iran regularly test fire long-range ballistic missiles designed to carry nukes. North Korea again last week publicly threatened to murder millions by destroying Washington, D.C. Iran preaches &#8220;death to America&#8221; while treating the so called Iranian Nuclear Agreement as nothing more than a strategy to appease the naïve one&#8217;s while pursuing their dangerous arms build-up. Russian and Chinese military aggression grows unabated while our brilliant leaders blab about Climate Control, designed to do nothing more than transfer wealth from great nations to the non-producers.
We can expect more and probably worse should a Democrat be elected in November. Imagine the Democrat&#8217;s choices for President; a compulsive liar and the worst Secretary of State in modern history (albeit John Kerry is giving her a run for it) and a proud socialist who took from others and never created anything to be proud of. Surely the tough loudmouth New York Republican businessman would be preferred over that leftist bunch(?) &#8211; even if he does make you periodically cringe.
But one wonders, why do so many Republicans focus on the destruction of Donald Trump; the party&#8217;s leading candidate for President? Yes, Trump has made dreadful and elementary statements and his celebrity status has drowned out others. But the vision of President Hillary Clinton is terrifying. The media pundits, even the conservative ones, seemingly ignore Clinton while thumping Trump. Nothing wrong with one of influence stating an opinion, but should he become the nominee, obsessively demeaning Trump may go a long way toward creating a Clinton Presidency. 
Trump&#8217;s carnival-like campaign is the stuff media craves and yet, he is leading. I wish it were Cruz. But at the end of the day, real issues are being ignored and that is worrisome. A reporter&#8217;s tussle with Trump&#8217;s bullish campaign manager or an unprepared Trumpism on abortion is harped on as if nothing else in the world matters.
There is worse than Trump. There is Mrs. Clinton. If she wins, we will all be traveling on the road to tyrannical hell. Don&#8217;t help her.

Not all Republicans are talented valedictorians residing on Mt. Genius, but today&#8217;s Democratic party and its supporters have become disgustingly dumber as the presidential campaign wears on. It escapes me how a Democrat, let alone any American citizen, would cede their rights to bureaucratic dolts. But that is the preference of the Democratic electorate. Their choices for president include an old con-artist just toenails ahead of federal prosecutors and an ancient curmudgeon determined to tax and spend our nation into the dust bowl of history.
The Democratic Party is built on a foundation of victimization and LOSER-ism. Thank God, (and I truly mean to thank HIM, aware that my gratitude upsets some Democrats), we have the freedom in America to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Per the latter, we can pursue happiness. It is not a &#8220;right&#8221; any more than health care or housing is a &#8220;right&#8221;. Yet there are those who fall prey to the Democrats&#8217; collective canards of victimization and believe they are owed a large portion of what others earn and produce. These &#8220;losers,&#8221; if you will, are not totally at fault.
The Democrats purposely created a narrative of nasty and divisive class envy, destroyed our educational system particularly through Common Core, and wildly helped millions of people become addicted to a life of entitlement. These do-gooders demonically created a dependent constituency who will obediently be there when it is time to pull the voting lever, whether legal or not. The two pillars sustaining today&#8217;s Democratic Party are the elites and the losers. Remember the so-called and once important &#8220;middle class&#8221;? Although occasionally still referenced in stump speeches, these hard-working blue-collar factory laborers, veterans, police and fire-fighters have been relegated to the back of the Democrats&#8217; busload of newly-found victims. &#8220;Black Lives Matter,&#8221; men in dresses and harboring dangerous illegal immigrants in sanctuary cities are the new protected class and assured Democrat voters. 
Today, Loser-ism thrives as Bernie Sanders, the proud socialist who would have been considered a veritable whack job in previous times, promises his beguiled and oblivious audience free college, health care, housing; you name it. Watching his audience of losers presents the best argument yet for voters being taxpayers at least 35 years old. Here we are again with deranged youth swaying an election. These are the same catastrophic mindless beings who helped win two terms for Barack Obama; the most destructive and divisive President in U.S. history. Today&#8217;s witless youth have no memory of the last half of the 20th century, when America resisted, fought, and eventually watched the destructive power of socialism collapse all over the world. How many people were killed and lands occupied by dictatorial leaders who promoted a utopian equal socialist society but always ending up creating a living hell? Where it exists today, it is still hell. Yet here we are with a new generation of iPhone and gamers hypnotically entranced by an old socialist. Both are losers. 
At least in Sanders&#8217; case, loser-ism may be momentarily excused if only because he is not part of the old Democratic Party establishment. Unlike Hillary Clinton, he is a new voice and intriguing &#8211; like a newly-discovered mole on your backside. On the other hand, Clinton is a known, corrupt, long-time commodity, untrustworthy and dishonest. Repeatedly, Clinton has been caught lying, particularly when she claimed there were no classified emails on her powder room home server. There were over one thousand.
&#8220;What difference does it make&#8221;? Clinton has imperiled our national security and Americans died. She was an integral part of a foreign policy so warped and misplaced that we have entered an age where terrorism is thanked and shining democracies slapped down. For decades, Hillary Clinton has represented the greed and poor judgment that helped create a party of losers &#8211; and has she gotten rich from it. One prays FBI Director James Comey is today&#8217;s Elliot Ness and Attorney Generals reflecting the leftist ideology of Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch will soon become another footnote in history or Hillary may be unstoppable.
A disinterested spirit spawns Loser-ism. You can see it in Losers&#8217; blank expressions while spewing worn talking points devoid of facts or reading their jaw-dropping ridiculous postings. Incapable of understanding the difference between debt and deficit, detached from growing threats of terrorism and adversarial regimes, losers care only about the freebies. They have no idea they are destroying their own place in the sun, let alone ours.
John Kennedy once stated, &#8220;ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.&#8221; Rather than spreading your wings and rising above, today&#8217;s Democrats vilify achievers and embrace losers. Divisiveness, greed and corruption thrive because the dependents are sadly too foolish to know the difference and don&#8217;t care anyway &#8211; as it was all planned.
As for the Republicans? Well, either they win and begin rebuilding our unique nation or we will all be losers. With the loss of Judge Scalia and reflecting on Saturday night&#8217;s Republican debate, I feel we are dangerously close to the latter.
For the sake of the Republic, educate yourself, dummy.

During the last several weeks, our sailors were captured and humiliated by Iranian terrorists. Upon their release, our delusional Secretary of State apologized and thanked &#8211; yes, thanked! &#8211; the terrorist regime of Iran. Afterward, we read media accounts describing how the Iranian regime gushed with pride as they effectively brought America to its knees. During the same two-week period, we saw the Obama Administration implement the horrifically terrible Iranian Nuclear Agreement committing America to ensure, protect and technically advise the terror state&#8217;s development of a nuclear infrastructure; a clear definition of a reckless foreign policy. By lifting sanctions on Iran and enriching their economy, Barack Obama effectively became the largest financier of Islamic terrorism.
Despite contradictory and obfuscating comments and outright lies by Obama, Kerry, Clinton and their hypnotized minions, this agreement will provide a pathway to an Iranian nuclear bomb. Timed to the implementation of this scurrilous agreement, Iran released long-held American hostages with the exception of the Robert Levin, the lone Jewish inmate of the Iranian regime. Neither the Iranians nor the American Administration supposedly know of his whereabouts. Now, three more Americans are reportedly missing or possibly kidnapped in Iraq. The alleged culprit? A Shi&#8217;ite Iranian terror proxy, of course.
For seven years, the MSM has whitewashed and sanitized this kind of assault by America&#8217;s enemies without a meaningful response from this Administration. No wonder those who hate us most keep trying. 
Obama&#8217;s final year has arrived, the end of a two-term disaster created by a mostly ignorant electorate entranced by mere verbal platitudes of nothingness. A historically unprecedented degree of corruption, dictatorial executive actions and degradation of American power and influence remain the hallmark of this Presidency.
What a change he has wrought &#8211; and not for the better.
Today, we bow and express our gratitude to terrorists for not mutilating, raping and beheading our captured Naval personnel; shades of Jimmy Carter. We have taught the evil actors of the world that America will negotiate and reward terrorism. This rudderless and weak policy will lead to more kidnappings; nuclear-inspired regimes will care less of what we think. The lead from behind bunch in the White House embrace the evil forces of the world while their contempt for our stalwart allies is astounding. After all, Obama removed the bust of Churchill from the Oval Office and has never hidden his hostility toward State of Israel. He fast-tracked Muslim Brotherhood supporters into influential positions within his Administration while attacking patriotic Americans who merely longed for our government to stick to the Constitution and seal the borders. 
As the final year unfolds, Obama will pull out all stops to fulfill his bucket list. Quietly sailing off into the sunset is not characteristic of a narcissist. With his usual contempt and smug arrogance, Obama rejects American idealism as he often states &#8220;this is not who we are.&#8221; But, it is &#8220;who we are&#8221; he fails to understand.
In his last year, will he attempt to create yet another Islamic terror enclave by possibly recognizing a Palestinian state or forcing our already overwhelmed immigration gates to open wider for thousands of additional un-vetted Muslims? Whatever nefarious plots he pursues, there is no doubt Obama plans to leave America more weakened and troubled. Here is radical leftism fully exposed and on parade with Hillary or Bernie waiting in the wings.

You can bet Mr. Obama&#8217;s influence will not end with his second term should a Republican fail to win the White House in November. Heaven help us as we might someday see Obama sworn in as a Supreme Court Justice or Secretary General of the United Nations. It is possible his reign of pain will see no sunset anytime soon.
So, we begin his last year with a sense of relief yet full of anxiety that the end is near. Reality ensures us the road to next January will be paved with many potholes. To quote Bette Davis, &#8220;fasten your seat belts, it&#8217;s going to be a bumpy night.&#8221;

Obama’s Final Year

A sick feeling ran through my veins as I watched Secretary of State John Kerry announce the Iranian Nuclear Agreement had been implemented. He spoke like the programmed robot we used to see on old science fiction TV shows. As if the words had already been recorded, Kerry&#8217;s lips moved in sync while his monotone cadence tried to sell us on this dangerous and impossible-to-enforce agreement. As the ghost of Neville Chamberlain hovered, Kerry tried assuring the world that ending sanctions and providing billions of dollars in relief, releasing the globe&#8217;s most terrifying characters from Gitmo and paving the way for the largest state sponsor of Islamic terror to eventually possess nuclear weapons was &#8211; a good deal?
President Obama has achieved his greatest fantasy. We should now understand what he meant by his electioneering promise to &#8220;fundamentally change America.&#8221; That change is driven by his dream of an Islamic empire reborn; a superpower sitting at the same table with the US, China and Russia. He will leave office confident that America, once the powerful beacon of freedom, will be weaker, more divisive and vulnerable. His presidency will end with the world in chaos where despotic maniacal dictators can purchase nuclear weapons on the open market confident America will do nothing about it. Mr. Obama has given them every reason to believe there are no &#8220;red lines.&#8221; For a man who claims he gives a damn about climate change, one nuclear blast will forever alter it.
Perhaps most sickening of all is the jubilant support Obama has received from both sides of the aisle. In the 60&#8217;s we wondered where all the flowers have gone. Today, one wonders where all the history books have gone, because we are repeating the same deadly mistake that mere words and a piece of paper can subdue an evil empire.
Poisoned by their own death culture, it is impossible to trust that Iran will adhere to an agreement designed to forestall and delay an apocalyptic goal. Obama&#8217;s is the same naiveté that assured us we could pay off North Korea to cede their nuclear ambitions. Just last week, that belligerent and isolated failed state may have test fired a hydrogen bomb while forging ahead with the development and testing of ballistic missiles designed to hit the United States. Do you think Iran will have a different outcome?
Whatever Iran may have temporarily put in storage units or shut down for the sake of the IAEA inspectors, they will have the finances to continue the pursuit of nukes offshore via their BFFs in North Korea. If Iran were to abide by this disastrous 15-year agreement (which they won&#8217;t), even Obama and Kerry and their band of leftist merrymakers admit the ayatollahs will eventually have zero break-out time to a nuclear weapon. Then what? At that moment in the very near future, Iran will be a far richer country with a vast nuclear infrastructure hidden and secured deep within the mountainous regions of the country impervious to attack.

Obama and his supporters always argued the only choice was between diplomacy and war. He was wrong. Initially, sanctions got Iran to the negotiating table and would have eventually choked their economy into capitulation. Even if the U.S. were the only country imposing economic sanctions, we would have had the influence and power to achieve a better outcome. Adversaries would have respected our determination. We lack leadership today; that is why the sanctions regime failed. 

So here we are, as an apocalyptic regime dreaming of the return of the 12th Imam which can only be achieved by the destruction of all non-believers is applauded as a signatory to a disastrous agreement. As Kerry receives his Nobel Peace Prize and Obama sails off into the sunset of his failed Administration, history will one day record the Iranian agreement as a cataclysmic disaster and one that &#8220;fundamentally changed America&#8221; &#8211; and the world.

Obama And Iran Won; The World Lost

Days ago, the insanity of the radical left saw its star performer employ Oscar-winning theatrics of tears, bewildered expressions, and dramatic pauses while issuing edicts falsely claiming they will keep guns out of the hands of criminals. Of course, this is nonsense. But for the MSM, it provided temporary sympathetic diversions and plugs to fill the holes of a domestic and foreign affairs sinking ship.
For several days, MSNBC and its similar ideological ilk tried to convince viewers Obama&#8217;s executive gun order had validity and reasonableness. I wondered aloud how his actions differed from the machinations of totalitarian governments. Isn&#8217;t bypassing Congress with his pen and phone and referring to the greatest American living document as merely a &#8220;piece of paper&#8221; amazingly authoritarian? Hitler held the hands of children as he forged legislation to register and eventually confiscate civilian-owned weapons. We know how that populist and &#8220;reasonable&#8221; approach to making the streets safer for Germans turned out. 
Shockingly, there are Americans who willfully defy facts and logic and robotically embrace Obama&#8217;s anti-gun talking points. What should send waves of concern is the fear that any bureaucrat, particularly one behind the awesome power of the Oval Office, would attempt to lessen one&#8217;s right to legally defend family and property. That is indeed the goal.
The Second Amendment on that &#8220;piece of paper&#8221; was carefully devised by signers of the Constitution (the word Mr. Obama could not muster through all the tears) to protect the citizenry from onerous government overreach leading to tyranny. Yet during this dangerous moment in time, isn&#8217;t it ironic there are those in government putting their foot into that proverbial door? This is only a start. Registration could well lead to confiscation. It is not your neighbor across the way or the fellow on the bar stool next to you whom the power to regulate rests, it is government.
Aside from his circumnavigation of Congress, the main problem most Americans have with Obama is his penchant for lying. History will recall his litany of lies. Statements he may make today are often altered or dismissed tomorrow. Remember the old lies such as &#8220;if you like your insurance&#8230;&#8221; or &#8220;Islam is a peaceful religion&#8221;? Respected polls clearly show the majority of Americans do not trust Obama and with good reason. His smug disdain for those who &#8220;cling to their guns and religion&#8221; indicates something far more serious than mere contempt. The most heavily-protected and guarded individual in the world has a lot of nerve to suggest others be less protected. Hollywood&#8217;s blubbery liberal pair, Michael Moore and Rosie O&#8217;Donnell, are emblematic of that same level of insane hypocrisy. Standing beside their personal armed security detail from a moat-surrounded compound, they demean the rest of us gun toting&#8217; goons in fly-over country. You can bet your lottery ticket that they are unwilling to disarm. 
With ISIS infiltration into all 50 States, a suicidal porous southern border, Obama&#8217;s unleashing of thousands of hardened criminals, sanctuary cities protecting rapists and murderers, the continued influx of un-vetted Muslims and a collapsing foreign affairs, you would think the President&#8217;s agenda would provide for more protection, not less.

Obama&#8217;s last year in office is upon us. He is charging forward with his radical leftist agenda and there are still millions blindly supporting him. We must fight to preserve our right to bear arms without government intervention. Our freedom is challenged and could be usurped by an Administration overflowing with crocodile tears.

Moments after Sayed Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik, murdered 14 innocents in San Bernardino, CA, our radical leftist President and his Attorney General dealt with the carnage by attacking the First and Second Amendments of the Constitution.
When President Obama took the oath of office, he pledged to defend the United States and the American people. He has failed. Obama insanely blames law-abiding citizens rather than the cause. In this case, the &#8220;cause&#8221; is Islamic terrorism. It has been suggested Obama&#8217;s staff is preparing executive orders to restrict gun ownership. Such restrictions will have no impact on keeping weapons out of the hands of those who wish us harm. Obama&#8217;s failure to do much in the threat of Islamic terrorism is an abdication of his most important responsibility. Adding fuel to Obama&#8217;s written guarantee that &#8220;I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction,&#8221; his Attorney General just announced she will prosecute those uttering what she would consider &#8220;anti-Muslim&#8221; hate speech. 
Who is the enemy?
Obama&#8217;s pattern of obfuscation and deflection has created a massive distrust of our government. In response, Americans are acquiring an unprecedented amount of guns and ammunition. We are either on the verge of civil war or capitulation to the growing destructive powers from within. This President and his Islamic-influenced Administration are the cause and effect of the fear Americans feel today.
Hours after 14 innocent people were savagely assassinated in San Bernardino, President Obama, as so often in the past, discounted reality. He suggested the vicious violent attack could have been merely &#8220;workplace violence.&#8221; Most of the cowardly media had already fallen in line. CAIR, the renowned defender of Islamic terrorism, once again publicly deflected the issue from what was quickly becoming obvious and exactly what the Administration, law enforcement and most onlookers understood but not yet admitted; here again was an act of Islamic terrorism. The Obama Administration, Islamic PR departments, the Attorney General and the obedient media establishment were all in compliance with the Administration&#8217;s despotic insanity, defending terrorism rather than an America and its people under threat.
After seven years, it is clear the President despises his country. We are nearing a breaking point.
Obama has pursued a policy of weakening and apologizing for America on the world stage and here at home. Our power and influence has been purposely and severely eroded worldwide, particularly in the Middle East. ISIS was created out of an American power void created after Obama refused to follow his own military advisers&#8217; recommendation to maintain a military presence in a functioning and stable Iraq. Our victory there has been eviscerated. After a 30-year absence, Russian influence has returned to the Middle East with its troops, planes and a strong military presence finding home in Syria. Plus, Obama&#8217;s capitulation to Iran by granting their quest toward a nuclear arsenal may prove to be the most catastrophic dereliction of American security in all of our history.

But upstaging the Iranian disastrous agreement at the moment is Obama&#8217;s reckless and dangerous determination to annually import into the United States upward of 10,000 or more so called &#8220;refugees&#8221; from Syria. Most are Muslim. Despite 9/11, in which 3000 Americans were killed by Islamists, the US has welcomed 1.5 million Muslims into the country. Our kindness has wrought continued Islamic-inspired terrorist attacks, including the Boston Bombers, the Chattanooga and Little Rock recruiting office slaughter, the savage murder of the NY and Garland, TX police officers and now 14 dead in San Bernardino, CA. Many stories of individual Muslim acts of terror and carnage here in America receive little coverage &#8211; if any &#8211; from a media elite infected by the scourge of political correctness.
One need only look at France to understand what is also happening here in America.
The United States has self-inflicted its own wounds. The leaders sworn to protect us have failed. Those in opposition are largely weak and the few who speak out are ridiculed. But there is a large percentage of Americans who understand the danger from within. Perhaps it is a majority and we/they are demanding our elected leaders recognize war is being perpetrated in our communities by Islamic terrorists. And most shocking, under the insanity of our Muslim immigration policy, we continue to import those who represent the greatest potential to inflict more harm. 
If we are to win this war, then Barack Obama should be impeached and removed from office. His Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, should also be dismissed as the nation&#8217;s top law enforcement official at the Department of Justice. Without doubt, neither will happen. So what&#8217;s next?

Lacking only dancing girls and elephant tricks, Hillary Clinton&#8217;s testimony before the House Congressional Committee on Benghazi proved to be quite a show. From the sidelines, we gawked as Representative Jim Jordan displayed Madam Secretary&#8217;s email sent just moments after the Benghazi attack. In writing, she specifically asserted the savage murder of four Americans was an act of terror, stating, &#8220;Two officers were killed today in Benghazi by an Al Qaeda-like group.&#8221; The rest of us were told the attack, which killed our Libyan Ambassador and three heroic Americans, was the result of an obscure video no one had ever seen.
So Hillary Clinton lied, as did Susan Rice as she appeared on five separate Sunday TV talk shows. Never one to be scalded by his contempt for the American people, Mr. Obama also lied as he perpetuated the same ridiculous fairy tale.
USA Today headlined the hearings as producing &#8220; no smoking gun.&#8221; Are they kidding? Mrs. Clinton&#8217;s emails specifically stated she was aware that the attack on our embassy in Benghazi was &#8220;an act of terror.&#8221;Kaboom! &#8211; there&#8217;s your smoking gun.
Unsurprisingly, USA Today and virtually all of the mainstream media shrugged off obvious lies and discarded the proof. Here again, we witnessed Mrs. Clinton&#8217;s long history of obfuscation, lies and self-enrichment with an obedient mainstream media kneeling in her defense.
If character mattered, one would think Clinton&#8217;s followers would abandon this ship, but since Clinton&#8217;s &#8220;performance,&#8221; her star seems to have risen. The Democratic party has relegated character to the ash heap of history. Those still clinging to the truth are reviled and insulted.
Yet hope does spring eternal, particularly through the auspices of your radio and the pages of print and online conservative reporting and commentary. For although much of the old media may support and defend Mrs. Clinton and the Democratic party, we are lucky to live in a time when they do not own the final word.

Merely two decades ago, the vast majority of our information was disseminated from a 22-minute nightly newscast on the three television networks, the old print daily publications. Typically slanted left and only occasionally allowing for a small quota of conservative writers, yesterday&#8217;s media protected the Democratic party&#8217;s image with gusto. They still do today, but their impact has shrunk because a large seething silent majority rejects their bias.
We live in a society in which government lies are more often exposed than buried thanks to Ronald Reagan&#8217;s elimination of the &#8220;fairness doctrine.&#8221; That insane FCC statue directly defied our First Amendment right of free speech, forcing broadcasters to provide equal air-time for differing viewpoints; a nearly impossible task. With radio stations free to offer programming without fear of bureaucratic interference, Rush Limbaugh, the &#8220;Godfather&#8221; of daily conservative talk radio, emerged. Intelligent and studied, Mr. Limbaugh provided the first national slap-down of tired liberal drivel. Armed with historical and present-day facts and a daily dose of reality, his midday talk show showered the listener with common sense, insight and answers. Opening the phone bank to his nationwide audience, pent-up frustrated listeners also had their voices heard. After nearly 30 years, Limbaugh continues to dominate the airwaves along with other great talents following in the path he so brilliantly paved. Many of their names are like neighborhood friends; familiar and welcome. Hannity, Levin, Beck, Savage; all with fight in their voice and passion in their hearts as they rail against the debilitating hell of liberalism.
The Internet opened the door to many news sites (including this one) providing an important and much needed forum for conservative writers and pundits. Today, there are millions of followers. Names like Breitbart and Drudge are as familiar as our home street address. We have the freedom of Twitter, which provides for instantaneous commentary in which no subject is sacred. Conservative hosts on the FOX News Channel vastly outrank their distant competitors and the Wall Street Journal remains a vibrant force in print.
Arrogant bureaucrats have been put on notice. They may skate by temporarily, but tomorrow is another day. Conservative media is alive, growing and healthy. Without it, who would be around to challenge the next pack of lies?
