Tre Hargett has served as Tennessee’s 37^th Secretary of State since 2009. He previously served for ten years in the Tennessee House of Representatives and was twice elected Republican Leader. Secretary Hargett is the current Chairman of the Republican Secretaries of State Committee and has recently dedicated his leadership efforts to the National Commission on Election Integrity—a project launched by the Republican State Leadership Committee earlier this year to bolster election security and credibility, and ensure civic engagement from all voters across America.
