You heard that right, friends. Troy Jackson, the newly selected Democratic Senate nominee to replace Graham Platner (Nazi tattoo guy) up in Maine and take on Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) for a seat that could hand Democrats the majority, is in a long-term relationship with, and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/graham-platners-replacement-accused-of-having-kids-with-cousin">shares</a> two children with, his second cousin.
There&#8217;s a sentence you never thought you&#8217;d read.
We knew he was bad. Jackson stood by his friend <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/lets-platten-this-graham-cracker">Platner</a> right up until a liberal woman accused him of rape; he&#8217;s a devout socialist, and his policies sit to the Left of Bernie Sanders. But we didn&#8217;t know he was this bad. Married-to-his-cousin bad.
Somehow this skeleton, alive and kicking, is almost worse than Platner&#8217;s closet of overflowing bones. You&#8217;ll remember Graham Platner, the self-described communist who also claims to be an oyster farmer, though his main customer is his mommy. He had a large Nazi tattoo on his chest, cheated on his wife just months into their marriage, has a sexting problem, and enjoys jerking off in porta-potties. He said he&#8217;d r*pe home invaders, but not in a gay way, and he had a Kik account, a site notorious for hosting child sex predators. Oh, and he was accused of sexual assault by a Right-wing staffer.
You&#8217;ll also remember that none of this moved the needle for Democrats. They staunchly defended this hirsute gopher and shrugged off his machinations right up to the end. It wasn&#8217;t until a liberal woman claimed he&#8217;d raped her that his support finally fell by the wayside.
But have no fear! Democrats have an unending list of capable, normal, hardworking candidates to put in his place — someone to lay siege to Collins’s reign!
We saw these qualified quacks take the Maine Senate <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/eight-dems-including-a-logger-and-transgender-songwriter-face-off-in-maine-senate-debate">debate</a> stage earlier this month, and their sheer star power was astounding. Between transgender-identifying candidate Ashley Webb, who cited his background as a songwriter and author as proof of his qualifications, and Troy Jackson, the former logger with an affinity for putting his log in his relatives, this bench seemed unstoppable.
Right up until word escaped the incestuary that Jackson was playing house with his high school second-cousin sweetheart.
Sen. Collins is probably pouring an extra-large glass of wine and toasting the Maine Democratic Party&#8217;s unparalleled talent for self-sabotage.
While Democrats scramble to explain why their latest &#8220;normal, hardworking&#8221; replacement shares great-grandparents with the mother of his children, Collins can campaign on the radical idea of not being related to her spouse. Second-cousin romance may be legal, and not unheard of in the remote North Woods, but the rest of the state still prefers its senators to have family trees that don&#8217;t look like a pretzel.
And no, Dems, you can&#8217;t pretend this is like FDR and Eleanor. They were fifth cousins. Still super weird. But slightly better than sharing a great-grandparent.
This is what happens when a party defends the indefensible until the last possible second, then pivots to the next available warm body without checking the Ancestry.com results. Platner had the Nazi ink and the porta-potties. Jackson has the high-school-sweetheart-who&#8217;s-also-family situation.
These two could star in a low-budget Lifetime original: Love in the North Woods: When Blood Is Thicker Than Water and Also Kinda the Same Thing, But Not In A Gay Way. Somewhere in between, the concept of a boring, electable candidate got lost in those woods and never came back.
So again, happy Friday to everyone but Troy Jackson. The rest of us can enjoy the weekend knowing that, once again, the Maine Democratic bench has delivered pure entertainment and an easier path to reelection for Susan Collins.
Unless, of course, Mainers find second-cousin-f*cking commie candidates romantic and mysterious. In that case, let them keep it in the family.

Nothing screams &#8220;support women&#8217;s basketball&#8221; quite like a team co-owner berating two 16-year-old girls until they cry.
That&#8217;s the state of the WNBA in 2026, folks. It&#8217;s honestly a mystery wrapped in an enigma why the sport isn&#8217;t more popular.
That&#8217;s exactly what unfolded Tuesday night during the Seattle Storm&#8217;s game against the Indiana Fever. Two teenagers wearing XX-XY Athletics shirts. This is a brand built around — and I know this is a radical concept — protecting women&#8217;s sports for actual women.The two girls were <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/wnba-co-owners-tirade-at-sophie-cunningham-fans-ends-in-fallout">told</a> they were &#8220;f*cking insane&#8221; for holding a sign that read &#8220;Thank you Sophie for speaking up for girls.&#8221;
This comes amid the fervor surrounding Sophie Cunningham, the Fever guard who&#8217;s made it her personal mission to protect teammate Caitlin Clark from the maniacal manhandlers who seem more intent on trying to cause her real, serious harm than on trying to win games. And, more controversially, Cunningham says out loud that biological men shouldn&#8217;t play women&#8217;s sports.
Isn&#8217;t it a shame that this now counts as a hot take? We&#8217;ll let 10-year-olds chop off their God-given goods, no problem; but suggest that a 16-year-old girl shouldn&#8217;t have to guard a grown man in the paint, and suddenly it’s as if you screamed “bomb” on an airplane.
Naturally, the brave teens (braver than me: I wouldn’t attend a WNBA game nor willingly set foot in Seattle) had to put their signs away to protect the fragile feelings of the fruity vanguard, while the multi-colored, rainbow marxist next to them kept her neon “No Hate In These United States” sign up the entire game.
I don’t know, girly pop.
It seemed pretty hateful to me when the co-owner of the team, Celeste Keaton, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DbZou8oMQEL/?hl=en">swore at and belittled</a> the two young athletes who paid to be there, for the crime of supporting fairness in the sport she claims to have devoted her life to. Newsflash for Klass-less Keaton: If fans wanted to watch burly, powerful bundles of XY chromosomes play basketball, that league already exists. It’s called the NBA. It&#8217;s on most nights at 9 p.m.
The highly agitated and morally bankrupt co-owner has been fined and suspended for the next five home games. But to me, this actually seems more like a reward than a punishment; not having to watch the Seattle Storm night after night, but then again, I&#8217;m a straight conservative.
It also seemed pretty hateful when a grown man in a WNBA hat (interesting choice) heckled the same girls, yelling &#8220;get out&#8221; and &#8220;security, take out the trash&#8221; while they cried.
Is it possible to just carve Washington State out of America? Could we give them to Canada? The benevolent folk can apply for residency in other states, using multiple forms of ID, of course, but the rest can stay in their sad, vampire-ridden land and float off into the northern Pacific. Our military&#8217;s schedule is pretty light right now; I&#8217;m sure they&#8217;ve got time to blow a gorge across the state line.
Sure, the scenery is stunning. But so is a Renaissance painting of a plague, but you wouldn’t want to live inside it. Seattle literally ranks #1 in adults having feelings of depression. I don&#8217;t make the rules; I just read the Census data. Some things are worth losing the view for. Baby, meet bathwater.
Oh well, I’m just glad Sophie, her teammates, and those young ladies made it out alive. But they didn’t leave with their heads hung low. The Fever crushed Keaton’s Storm clouds 105-95, marking Indiana&#8217;s fourth consecutive 100-point game — a new WNBA record for the longest such streak in league history. Clark led the crusade with 32; Cunningham flipped the booing crowd the bird by shooting 3-for-3 from three in the first quarter.

And increasingly, so does the rest of the country. Her Adidas partnership has become one of the league&#8217;s bigger commercial stories this season, with her player-exclusive sneaker selling out within hours of its release. Turns out normie Americans like common sense, Title IX, and rooting for pretty blondes who don’t apologize for either.
The WNBA doesn&#8217;t have a talent problem. It has a leadership problem. When your co-owners are cursing out teenage girls for saying men shouldn&#8217;t play women&#8217;s sports, in a women&#8217;s sports league, you&#8217;ve stopped being an inclusive institution and started being an ideological one; and ideological institutions don&#8217;t grow audiences, they shed them.
Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham are giving this league its biggest audience ever. Its own ownership keeps handing that audience reasons to watch literally anything else.
Fix that, and the mystery solves itself.

Gavin Newscum. Remember him? Well, President Trump&#8217;s nickname for him just took on a whole new meaning.
All was quiet on the West Coast front for Newscum — most of the news cycle diverted to Fauci pleading the Fifth like a little girl, the Democratic Socialists of America plotting their takeover of our motherland, or Mamdani&#8217;s contempt for 9/11 victims — but that changed Tuesday for the California governor, when his former paramour emerged with an explosive <a href="https://www.vanityfair.com/story/gavin-newsom-ruby-rippey-essay">essay</a> exposing the scandal.
Ruby Rippey-Tourk, deputy campaign finance director under a younger Mayor Newsom and wife of Alex Tourk, his field director, is finally telling her side of the story: an extramarital affair lasting two years, with the now-governor of California.
The takeaway? He is, indubitably and irrevocably, scum.
Imagine this. You&#8217;re in a position of power. Your best friend labors over you, day and night; so does his wife. You spend every waking moment with both of them, watching them weather the storms of substance abuse, a first pregnancy, and the ordinary vicissitudes of life. And then you start sleeping with your best friend&#8217;s newly mothered wife. Behind his back. For two years straight. You send her spiraling into full-blown addiction, gut her marriage, and detonate a one-year-old&#8217;s entire world.
That is what Gavin Newscum did to the Tourks. His friends. His subordinates. People whose entire livelihoods depended on him.
Rippey describes her marriage to Tourk as steady yet electric. Romantic and refreshing. Mostly right, and when it wasn&#8217;t, her husband still viewed it through rose-colored glasses, always seeing the best in her, always showing up for his wife and their baby.
Alex Tourk was as good a guy as it gets. He courted her by consistently showing up with mixtapes and matzo ball soup from her favorite deli, even when he figured he didn&#8217;t stand a chance. That same stalwartness carried into fatherhood and into his job, where he served Newsom as a reliable workhorse, there anytime, anyplace.
It turns out he and his wife both spent long nights enthralled by the same man; they just did it in vastly different capacities.
Newscum looked at this marriage between two hardworking people who trusted him, and made a conscious, cynical decision to break them both, one by one, from atop his City Hall tower.
Ruby lays out the relationship in full – from how it started to how it ended. And though she&#8217;s clearly responsible for her own abhorrent choices, it&#8217;s hard to read her account without concluding that Newsom&#8217;s power is what propelled her destruction.
She says it began in earnest in 2005, at a wedding in Napa Valley — one where she wore white (insane), became belligerent, and sent her husband home to their baby while she went back to an inn with the mayor. They passed out beside each other; she wet the bed. The crusade against common sense and decency was underway.
But it’s what she says about the lead-up that strikes me. In 2004, Ruby had strung together a stretch of sobriety after her pregnancy. That lasted until she, her husband, and their boss sat down at a Mexican restaurant, and Newscum commented on her body.
“You’ve lost all your pregnancy weight.”
Cue the margaritas. From that moment on, she starts obsessing over what she wears, how she looks, second-guessing every glance he holds a beat too long. The drinks start flowing again, right on schedule.
“We meet and we drink. There is sex, but it isn’t the point. The point is proximity — to power, to being chosen… It isn’t love. It isn’t romance. It’s intoxication. The text message is a hit.”
She&#8217;s captivated by his power. He holds her in the palm of his mayoral hand.
She’s relieved when he tells her it should stop. &#8220;You can&#8217;t be doing this to Alex,&#8221; he says, as if he&#8217;s the concerned friend stepping in to save the day, and not the governor-in-waiting who used his position to get her into this mess in the first place.
“Maybe now it’s over,” she hopes, desperate to be rid of his chains and of the alcoholism their affair ignited.
But it didn’t end. Over the course of the next few months, between the taxi rides home from one of Newscum&#8217;s penthouses or rooftop bars riddled with cigarettes, she turns to cocaine. Newscum does nothing to stop it. If anything, he fans the flames of her self-destruction, night after night, luring her back in, intoxicated, inebriated, incapacitated. He never tells her to get help. He never tells his friend. He casts himself as a passerby, a bystander to a mess he built.
He’s the ruinous villain in their stories, but they’re merely a footnote in his.
Ruby is the one who ends it, after checking into rehab in 2006. She confesses to her husband (Gavin&#8217;s best friend) via email in 2007 that they&#8217;ve both been lying to him and stabbing him in the back.
Alex leaves his wife and his job on Newsom&#8217;s campaign, both of which he&#8217;d spent years building, strengthening, and sacrificing for, with nothing left but a kid and an attorney&#8217;s bill.
He rebuilds slowly, forever bewildered that the two people he trusted most could do this to him. Ruby retreats into isolation, regret, and ruin, staying silent when Gavin&#8217;s memoir hits shelves, claiming it was he who &#8220;came clean&#8221; to Alex. And Gavin cashes his memoir checks, having barely acknowledged the &#8220;crazed woman&#8221; who&#8217;d &#8220;fall asleep outside his bedroom,&#8221; before ascending, smooth as ever, to the governorship.
There is no doubt that Ruby held a great deal of the responsibility for their affair, but what Newscum&#8217;s conduct reveals about him, across every stage of this, is the real story.
He used his power to pull his best friend&#8217;s wife into bed while all three of them worked under the same City Hall roof. He lied to everyone close to him for years. He is, demonstrably, the type of man who will absolutely wreck a woman’s heart if given the chance — and he did. Then he looked at the devastation, shrugged, found a carbon copy of Ruby, and married her. Her name is <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/hey-jennifer-newsom-is-the-racism-in-the-room-with-you-right-now">Jennifer Siebel Newsom</a>, now California&#8217;s &#8220;first partner.&#8221;
Politicians aren&#8217;t exactly famous for being good people, and sure, everybody&#8217;s got skeletons. Trump&#8217;s got some. Clinton&#8217;s got a whole ossuary.
But there&#8217;s a difference between garden-variety sleaze and this: years of lying to your best friend&#8217;s face while sleeping with his wife, watching her drown in it, then writing a memoir where you&#8217;re the hero of your own betrayal.
He’s not Newscum because Trump said so. He’s Newscum because he earned it. And now this scumball wants America to give him a promotion.

Funny. He campaigned on cheaper land, at the expense of whoever currently owns it. He urges New Yorkers to take to the streets the moment they feel a whisper of &#8220;frustration or opposition,&#8221; all in pursuit of peace, naturally. And yesterday, he promised cheaper bread, at the expense of whoever currently sells it.
That last one struck a nerve with anyone still operating on two working brain cells.

Oh, honey. He must&#8217;ve gotten into Hunter Biden&#8217;s stash, because this is the dictionary definition of a gimmick.
Here&#8217;s how it actually works. Mamdani&#8217;s stores skip property taxes and rent; the bodega down the block does not. That&#8217;s how you sell bread 30% under market price without losing your shirt on day one, and it&#8217;s a trick your corner store can&#8217;t pull off no matter how hard the Marxist wand waves.
The problem is, grocery stores already limp along on razor-thin 2% <a href="https://www.forbes.com/sites/nathangoldman/2026/07/28/do-mamdanis-city-run-grocery-stores-break-economics-101/">margins</a>. Drop a taxpayer-funded competitor into the mix, selling everything a third cheaper, and mom-and-pop shops don&#8217;t just eat the difference. They bleed until they can&#8217;t anymore. Then they close.
Once the bodegas are gone and Mamdani Mart is the only game left in town, the &#8220;savings&#8221; don&#8217;t stop costing money; they just get quietly rerouted to the taxpayer, at a <a href="https://www.dailysignal.com/2026/07/28/mamdani-nyc-grocery-stores-discount-local-businesses/">projected</a> 28 cents lost on every dollar sold. And when the budget finally buckles, and the subsidies get slashed, those city stores turn into empty shells stocked with rotting inventory, and New Yorkers are taking two trains and a bus to find a grocery store that still has groceries in it.
But I&#8217;m sure it&#8217;s fine.
Totally different from the Soviet Union. And totally different from Kansas City, which ran this exact experiment in 2024 and <a href="https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy/government-funded-grocery-store-flounders-midwest-city-similar-proposal-gains-steam-nyc">lost</a> the state almost $900,000. Third time&#8217;s the charm.
In Bolshevik Russia, the truth hiding between the propaganda&#8217;s lines read: seize the grain, fix the prices, make the state the only grocery store in town.
No exceptions. No gimmicks.
Turns out when the government takes your surplus grain whether you like it or not, you stop growing surplus grain. Why farm extra wheat just to hand it over for free? Peasants planted only enough to feed their own families, transport collapsed under the weight of central planning, and the shiny new state shops ended up with bare shelves and day-long bread lines, where people froze half to death hoping a loaf might, maybe, show up.
Mamdani never went hungry, though. He had a private chef in his mansion. Oh, sorry. I meant Lenin.
The Soviet dictator fixed the price of bread by decree and had the state swallow the difference, because state grocery stores don&#8217;t answer to supply and demand. They answer to whoever&#8217;s holding the gun, or the budget, or both. (The Second Amendment&#8217;s looking better by the paragraph.)
Mamdani&#8217;s simply running the same experiment with one hundred extra years of PR polish, and a grin that belongs on the poster for Smile 3. He&#8217;s not asking the market what bread should cost; he&#8217;s telling it.
Ahh. What a week for New Yorkers already. On Monday, their mayor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/mamdani-doxxes-his-own-constituents-days-after-terror-attack?row=1&amp;elementPosition=2&amp;rowType=Web+Search+Overlay%5C">doxxed</a> 30,000 of his richest constituents, publishing exactly who&#8217;d be receiving a &#8220;Pied-à-terre&#8221; love tax, in a city that just watched a CEO get gunned down for the crime of being wealthy. Then he announced he&#8217;d be attending 9/11 commemorations, despite campaigning alongside <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/the-pied-piker-is-leading-all-the-anti-american-vermin">radicals</a> who said America deserved it. And now this?
Here&#8217;s hoping he doesn&#8217;t crawl out of his dwelling hole today. New York&#8217;s collective blood pressure can&#8217;t survive one more thing.

It sure feels like everything went to hell in a handbasket overnight. Doesn&#8217;t it? 
 
The Democratic Socialists of America, hitting the scene harder than heartburn after a late-night Taco Bell Crunchwrap Supreme, have just laid their platform bare. And it is truly fascinating how calmly they can unleash a plan that will legitimately gut this country down to the studs.
I wish I were being dramatic.
Abolish the Senate. Abolish the presidency and the Supreme Court. Abolish immigration enforcement, prisons, and eventually police. Open the border. Grant mass amnesty. Defund the Pentagon.
These are just some of the promises of the DSA, <a href="https://x.com/SpeakerJohnson/status/2081445353883042279/video/1">delivered</a> on Fox News Sunday by a woman wearing oversized red librarian glasses and a smile. Megan Romer (She/Her), co-chair of the Democratic [Communists] of America, rhapsodically <a href="https://x.com/RedWavePress/status/2081445206239440943">informed</a> a visibly appalled Shannon Bream, true, true, true, right down the list, that yes, those are the goals, and really, it&#8217;s all in service of keeping everybody safe. Naturally, that starts with keeping murderers and rapists out of prison.
I think it&#8217;s safe to call them communists now. They&#8217;d probably welcome the moniker.
For a while, they ran on a very niche, very vibes-based, very cutesy form of governance called Democratic Socialism, in which capitalism gets &#8220;democratized&#8221; so regular people, not corporate CEOs, control the economy and public resources.
Nothing to see here, folks. Just some capitalism-loving socialists who enjoy long walks on the beach and having a good time!
Well, that mask dropped faster than Graham Platner&#8217;s pants around anyone who isn’t his wife.
Now they&#8217;re brandishing the actual plan on national television, no euphemisms left to hide behind, no pretty label, just the thing itself, plainly stated. Their trophy boy, Hasan Piker, trotted out their Marxist machinations at the College Democrats convention this month while dressed, unironically, like Mao Zedong. The murderous dictator.
That was always the play: trip you up with soft verbiage so you never have to reckon with the actual positions. But it doesn’t matter what they call it. Because what they want is not Sweden. They want public ownership of the largest corporations and essential industries. A brand-new constitution built around one unicameral legislature. The explicit replacement of the independent presidency and supreme court with an executive and judiciary that only answer to Congress. They want America to be hollowed out from within, like Troy.
This is, structurally, the Bolshevik blueprint from 1917: dissolve the elected assembly, concentrate power in bodies the party controls, nationalize industry, and call the whole thing &#8220;workers&#8217; democracy&#8221; while you&#8217;re doing it. They even talk about abolishing the carceral forces of the capitalist state the same way early commies dreamed of police, courts, and prisons “withering away” once class conflict disappeared.
Spoiler alert: it didn’t work.
This totalitarian nightmare led to the starvation and murder of millions, but shockingly, the self-pitying Ivy elites who majored in African Art and Gender Studies aren’t hip to the evils of communist history. Their commie commitments don’t stop there. The Marxist mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, has been singing this siren song since he landed on America’s shores: rent control, seizing property from landlords, stealing wealth from private citizens. Communist, communist, communist.
And this week, Mamdani announced the city&#8217;s new government-run grocery stores will sell food staples 30% below market price. They also won’t have to pay property taxes or rent. Bye-bye, immigrant-run bodega down the block that pays both!
But surely, nothing else could possibly go wrong here.
It’s not like artificially setting the prices of bread, flour, and meat well below their true production costs (or free-market levels) just to keep voters happy would create excess demand, deplete supply, and eventually produce bread lines and shortages…right?
Quite honestly, I find it revolting that this cadre of basement-dwellers and professional un-success stories would have the gall to roll out such an anti-American platform on the country’s 250th birthday. Our founders didn&#8217;t build this nation two and a half centuries ago for people who wait around to loot what someone else built. They built it for the doers and the risk-takers who invent things and then have the audacity to profit from them.
The Declaration of Independence promises the pursuit of happiness, not the guarantee of equal outcomes. The Constitution protects private property, limited government, and separation of powers precisely so no group of envious central planners can seize the fruits of your labor and hand them out to whatever mask-wearing collective claims to deserve them more.
Communists are the unproductive, untalented, uncreative losers among us who don’t create wealth, but confiscate it. They don’t invent; they ration. They don’t protect; they abolish the protectors. They don’t build grocery stores that actually feed people; they demand the government force prices below cost and then act shocked when shelves go empty. And they&#8217;ll tell you, straight-faced, that they&#8217;re keeping you safe, all while dressed as the tyrant responsible for the deaths of 40 million of his own people.
Unfortunately, we can&#8217;t deport all of them.
So instead, we have to point out the lunacy of their positions, brush up on our history, and elect people to office who value a strong national defense, strong borders, law and order, free markets, individual liberty, and keeping America great.
We could also try sending Miss Megan Romer on a year-long trip to Cuba and see if she still wants to bring communism to our capitalist frontier when she gets back.

Let’s check in on our favorite socialist mayor’s city. Shall we?
In the span of 24 hours, the terror sympathizing, Ugandan native took to X to proclaim that if landlords stepped out of line he&#8217;d seize their property, that his &#8220;talk with the people&#8221; (more like Hugo Chávez&#8217;s rambling Aló, Presidente) is dropping soon, that anyone sitting on a second home worth over five million dollars in New York City should expect a little love letter in the mail about their new pied-a-terre tax, and that HE HAS BEEN BRIEFED on the terror attack on the Upper West Side, where an Asian man and a Jewish man were stabbed with a screwdriver by a Muslim screaming &#8220;Allahu Akbar.&#8221;
Be careful subscribing to his social media pages. You might get whiplash. Or have a heart attack.
But of course all of this comes as a shock to no one. This is a man who ran for office promising to come for pesky landlords’ buildings and squeeze every last penny from New York&#8217;s most successful residents. He is, by his own design, a communist cosplayer whose favorite new hobby is announcing “he has been briefed.”
The only shocking thing about a shocking week is that we&#8217;ve all stopped being shocked.
He <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DbLNFpFhBaP/?hl=en">spent</a> time at a a mosque earlier this year that has documented ties to an Iranian-government front, where the imam sang about &#8220;the killing of the infidels by your sword.&#8221; (Infidels, for those keeping score at home, means anyone who isn&#8217;t Muslim. So, most of his subjects.) He says, often and loudly, that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a war criminal, and that he&#8217;ll use his vast and terrifying mayoral power to have him arrested for &#8220;genocidal actions.&#8221; (He has no such power, and appears equally unclear on what &#8220;genocide&#8221; means.) This week he posted a moody little video branding the Jewish state as evil incarnate and urging New Yorkers to use &#8220;every tool they have&#8221; against it. He also declined to condemn the call to &#8220;globalize the intifada,&#8221; a rallying cry for violence against Jews and Israelis.
So no, my jaw did not hit the floor when a man took his wisdom to heart and stabbed a man on his way to synagogue.
Jewish New Yorkers are furious, and rightly frightened. City leaders used a press conference to accuse the mayor of &#8220;fanning the flames of hatred and division.&#8221; Which is exactly what he&#8217;s done. Even Hedge Hero Bill Ackman suggested the mayor take a little field trip to the Holocaust Museum, presumably so someone can finally explain to him what the word he keeps butchering actually means.
The <a href="https://x.com/Bubblebathgirl/status/2080641750058639606/video/1">NYPD</a> has had it with the smarmball, too. Their relationship soured the moment the internet unearthed a video of Mamdani claiming the department&#8217;s boots are &#8220;laced by the IDF,&#8221; and they&#8217;ve been in full breakup mode ever since. President of the New York City Police Benevolent Association Patrick Hendry warned that the mayor&#8217;s rhetoric is pushing things too far: &#8220;When the mayor of the city is actively calling for demonstrations, violent agitators will assume they have permission to cause as much havoc as possible.&#8221; NYPD Detectives Endowment Association President Scott Munro put it more bluntly, saying Mamdani &#8220;acts like he&#8217;s leading a protest movement instead of running the largest city in America.&#8221;
Yep. And boy has havoc ensued. Because for the Left, violent protest is encouraged, excused, and practically canonized, so long as it&#8217;s done in the name of the almighty omnicause.
And Zohran, ever the multitasker, tries to hold every banner at once. He&#8217;s pro-trans, throwing pride parties at Town Hall and announcing a $15 million investment in gender-mutilative care (one imagines the imam was thrilled). He&#8217;s pro-&#8220;underprivileged,&#8221; except his rent freeze is quietly crushing the immigrants and working-class renters he claims to champion, who are now staring down record-high payments. He&#8217;s pro-Palestine, a cause whose governing authority executes gay people for the crime of existing, and he&#8217;s decidedly anti-America, a country he insists is starving its children while oligarchs run wild.
He’s doing cartwheels around these ideologies. It’s exhausting to try and follow.
But that&#8217;s who he is, and how he clawed his way to the top. A theater kid turned failed rapper who talked his way into Gracie Mansion and started acting like a warm and fuzzy dictator instead of what he actually is: the overseer of a five-borough sanitation budget.
None of his promises have landed. Bus fares are more expensive. Rents are up, not down; the city isn’t safer, it’s louder. But he will keep pretending to fix these problems after being duly “briefed.”
He’s a walking contradiction in a suit and keffiyeh.
Twenty-five years after this country buried nearly 3,000 people killed in the name of the very rhetoric Mamdani can’t bring himself to condemn, New York elected a mayor who sat through a call to kill the infidels and called it a privilege to be there. History does not usually repeat itself so quickly, or so loudly, but here we are. Ahlan.

Sophie Cunningham has always stuck up for her people. Her sister, her teammates, Caitlin Clark (when the entire WNBA seemed to have taken out a hit job on her), and now she’s sticking up for something even bigger: women.
The basketball star turned viral sensation just threw the girls a bone, saying in a sprawling <a href="https://www.espn.com/wnba/story/_/id/49306657/sophie-cunningham-finger-point-indiana-fever-wnba">ESPN</a> feature that she wants to “protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn&#8217;t have to go against biological men.”
There it is. Time for the WNBA to get big mad.
And of course the media will follow suit, deriding her indefinitely, like the Washington Post just did. Its latest headline reads: “WNBA player Sophie Cunningham won’t stop talking about trans athletes.”
No, my friends. You won’t stop talking about trans athletes.
She shouldn’t even have to say that &#8220;Biological men” don’t belong in a girl’s locker room. In fact, that used to be a redundant phrase, not a controversial one. But somebody had to say it aloud, because the feminists who were supposed to be saying it wandered off years ago, some chasing climate change, some chasing a different gender. So thank God for Sophie Cunningham. The 29-year old Indiana Fever guard, Missouri native, and Amazonian talent is apparently the last woman standing willing to state the obvious.
She’s not just the right messenger; she’s the perfect one.

This is who she’s always been. Growing up in Columbia, Missouri, Cunningham was clocking opposing players in rec-league before she hit double digits, avenging her older sister Lindsey the minute someone dared to even look at her funny. “If you let people walk all over you, they’re going to,” she says. “It’s just in my blood. You’re not gonna mess with my people.”
I like her. As an older sister, I can attest that claws don’t come out quicker than when your baby sissy gets hurt.
She carried that maternal instinct through four years at Mizzou, dragging a program that hadn’t sniffed the NCAA Tournament in nearly a decade back into it, four years running, and picked up a reputation for being seriously spunky along the way. South Carolina fans wanted her dead, literally. “Which is fine,” she said. Because like grandma, like mother, like daughter, she has thick skin.
She doesn’t care if she pisses people off.
This instinct came in handy last year when Jacy Sheldon poked Caitlin Clark in the eye, and Cunningham responded by putting Sheldon in a headlock on national television. She went viral for defending the only female WNBA player most people could name. Then did it again with a 22-second finger <a href="https://www.facebook.com/BlackIndyLIVE/videos/one-of-the-funniest-moments-in-sports-right-now-didnt-come-from-a-game-winning-s/3180318988844573/">point</a> and glare at DeWanna Bonner that turned into one of the biggest sports memes of the year.
It was glorious. The kind of silent fury I know intimately, the same look I give my sisters the second one of my tops goes missing off the hanger. No words, just accusation, thick enough to choke on. (We go from lovers to fighters real fast.)
One finger, twenty-two seconds, and an entire arena understood exactly what she meant. She never said a word. She didn&#8217;t have to. The point said it for her: touch my girl again and see what happens.
Clark has spent a season and a half getting hunted by bloodthirsty opponents while the league’s officiating crew developed a sudden case of Helen Keller the minute the star was fouled. Cunningham noticed, and Cunningham cared. So she did something about it. Now the same protective instinct that got Sheldon a headlock and Bonner a very long staredown has widened its aperture. She’s now going to bat for young girls and female athletes, and it means everything.
This woman became ubiquitous almost overnight. A woman who was a solid but unspectacular role player for six seasons in Phoenix is now an Adidas athlete with her own signature shoe dropping tomorrow, a Ring spokeswoman, a UFC ring girl, and reportedly one of the highest-earning names in the league that, until last year, most Americans couldn’t have named two players from. Her Google search numbers spiked 800% after the Sheldon situation. Her TikTok and Instagram followings are in the millions, and it happened because she was willing to be exactly, unapologetically herself in a landscape that has spent years punishing those who step out of line.
Which is what makes what she said in an ESPN profile, in the career sense, extremely dangerous. Telling the outlet that young girls in sports shouldn’t have to compete against biological men should be grounds for applause. Instead, it’s a liability.
But thankfully, she’s <a href="https://x.com/RomeovilleKid/status/2080069445364433144/video/1">doubling down.

“I said what I said,” she told reporters before Wednesday’s game against Connecticut. “I think it&#8217;s kind of common sense. I think it&#8217;s really important to protect children, and that&#8217;s little girls who are also involved in that category. I stand on what I said.&#8221;
Bingo. Give her the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Because that was brave.
Honestly, she has more to lose than almost anyone in the league right now: the shoe deal, the brand partnerships, the goodwill of a locker room culture, her spot on the team. She’s risking all of it for a sentence most Americans agree with, but almost no professional athlete will say.
The WNBA, meanwhile, has spent two years alternately ignoring and resenting the two players filling its arenas. It resents Clark for being too good and too popular. Now it gets to resent Cunningham for being too honest. Quite the business decision, icing out the only two names we know!
(It’s not personal. We didn’t know a single U.S. Men’s soccer player before the World Cup, either.)
What Sophie Cunningham is saying is correct. It should not be controversial. But women across the country are glad someone with as much to lose as she does is saying it regardless. Because for some reason, the liberal overlords and woke warriors would sacrifice safety and fairness for mental illness inclusion every time, if unchecked.
If we don&#8217;t stick up for each other, no one will. And Cunningham&#8217;s whole life has been proof that she doesn&#8217;t wait around for permission to protect her people. She didn&#8217;t wait for Sheldon. She didn&#8217;t wait for Bonner. She&#8217;s not going to wait for a press release from the league office, either.
Eat it, WNBA. Or you will go back to being just as unpopular as the World Cup before June.

The &#8220;working class&#8221; isn&#8217;t voting for the Democratic Socialists of America. Underpaid, overeducated, and insufferably self-righteous leftists are.
A new <a href="https://www.natesilver.net/p/the-dsa-sweet-spot-highly-educated">report</a> from statistician Nate Silver found that the most reliably Democratic voting bloc in America holds a graduate degree and earns somewhere between $30,000 and $60,000 a year. Wouldn&#8217;t you know it: our favorite little communists, the card-carrying members of the DSA, are overwhelmingly college-educated (80% hold a bachelor&#8217;s degree or higher) yet distinctly unprosperous (45% report household incomes under $60,000).
Oopsie. Turns out spending 785 years in school just to crawl out of the halls of the Intifada Ivies with a master&#8217;s in African Art won&#8217;t make you boatloads of money. It will, however, make you an aggrieved, uptight, miserable Marxist, whose life&#8217;s purpose isn&#8217;t reunion with the Lord our Savior, but a tireless personal crusade against procreation, on account of climate change.
Okay, maybe that&#8217;s an overgeneralization. But the foundation holds.
The average master&#8217;s student casting a ballot for socialism has sunk hundreds of thousands of dollars into a degree they&#8217;re slowly realizing has no value in the real world, or isn&#8217;t needed at all, thanks to our country&#8217;s <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elite_overproduction">&#8220;elite overproduction&#8221;</a> problem. They are perpetually, seethingly irate that the high school dropout who knows how to drill for oil has landed a far more valuable profession than they have.
This data demolishes the lie these DSA activists are selling: that they represent the working class, the &#8220;little guy.&#8221; We heard it ad nauseam from oyster farmer and self-described bro Graham &#8220;I&#8217;d rape home invaders, but not in a gay way&#8221; Platner, running for Senate in Maine, and from Abdul El-Sayed, terror apologist running for Senate in Michigan. Unsurprisingly and despite their valiant efforts, the nepo baby and the millionaire, respectively, flopped with the voters they claimed to champion. Platner performed <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/poll-shows-platners-oyster-farmer-image-failing-win-over-working-class-maine-voters">pitifully</a> among voters without college degrees, and El-Sayed is <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/swing-state-poll-spells-trouble-far-left-schumer-backed-candidate-dominates-critical-voting-blocs">floundering</a> with black voters.
So who exactly is the working class? Traditionally, the term meant physical labor and no four-year degree: the blue-collar worker, and now, its pastel-hued cousin, the pink-collar worker: nurses, teachers, and clerical staff.
It turns out that this is the demographic least likely to vote Democrat.
Leftist candidates have tried valiantly to stretch the definition of &#8220;working class&#8221; to fit their own membership rolls: social workers, public sector employees, non-profit staffers. The rest of the DSA&#8217;s ranks are filled out by white-collar professionals, career academics, and the unemployed or disabled. Checks out. You can spot the type just by scanning a DSA meeting. These rooms aren’t overflowing with the builders, the innovators, the creators, or the doers. Rather, they more closely resemble a theater-kid-anonymous meeting: the debt-ridden, the disabled, the desperately overdramatic underemployed, or some combination of all three.
They aren&#8217;t making a lot of cash, and they are furious at the people who are.
Republican voters are seeing the exact opposite scenario unfold. About 60% of voters with a high school education or less, but whose households earned $60,000 or more, preferred Trump to the Democratic field. And no wonder. Electricians and plumbers now pull a median salary north of $62,000, and the construction industry alone needs roughly 349,000 net new workers in 2026 just to keep up. Wages in the trades are <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2026/05/20/ai-skills-randstad-college-trades-jobs-pay-bump.html">climbing</a> faster than the national average, precisely because nobody wants to do the work anymore. So the guy who skipped the seminar on intersectionality to learn how to wire a breaker box is out here making bank, no student loans attached, while his master’s degree-holding classmate is still waiting for the revolution to cover rent.
Across all the data, one thing rings true. If you&#8217;re highly educated yet chronically broke, you&#8217;re likely to describe yourself as &#8220;very liberal.&#8221;
Also, the paler the skin and the more neon the hair, the more likely the &#8220;very liberal&#8221; self-diagnosis. (That last one I made up, but it sounds right.)
And it all makes a certain grim sense. These are people who exit the ivory towers right around the time their hair starts graying, aged out by years of protesting, pronoun-swapping, and experimenting with every imagined sexuality under the sun. They felt more consequential holding a megaphone and chanting numbingly banal slogans through a cloth mask than they ever will at their actual job. So they leave the private sector (extra credit if they never set foot in it to begin with) and either run for office themselves or raise money for their equally bored friends already working in government.
They&#8217;re angry that their matcha costs nine dollars and that it takes an arm and a leg just for a yoga instructor to tell them to &#8220;shavasana&#8221; 40 times in 50 minutes. They&#8217;re angry that the kid they went to high school with owns two houses and has a family of four by 27, because he went into the trades, while they got saddled with gender studies debt. They&#8217;re angry at anyone who became successful, unable to fathom why that person isn&#8217;t losing sleep over the nonexistent genocide in Gaza or the equally nonexistent genocide of trans people down the block.
It comes down to what these voters are prioritizing. They care about the cost of living and making everything free via socialism because they’re strapped for cash and too lazy to change their own situations. They care about &#8220;democracy&#8221; because they&#8217;ve been told Republicans are eating it alive, even as Democrats keep installing candidates in primaries who never earned a single vote and campaign on abolishing the filibuster and the Senate along with it. They care about healthcare and strangling business with regulation because they have nothing else to do but complain and dismantle the capitalist machine that gave them the medicine, the treatment, and the care they&#8217;re currently benefiting from.
High-earning Republicans, meanwhile, generally care about putting food on the table, getting through the workday, and showing up for their community at church, at synagogue, or on the sidelines of their kid&#8217;s rec league soccer game. Then they turn on the news and learn the Socialists want to tax more of their paycheck.
This isn’t new. Every revolutionary movement in history has been built by the entitled, educated, and downwardly mobile, who have both the time and the grievance to spare.
The more productive thing would be for every gender studies major in America to shadow an electrician for a week. Nothing cures elite overproduction and the rise of socialism quite like creating something of actual value to society. Because the reality is, capitalism didn’t fail these overly educated, undercapitalized, insufferable pinkos, their major did.

This was the <a href="https://x.com/NateFriedman97/status/2078878926953238886/video/1">pitch</a> a young Democratic Socialist of America member gave to journalist Nate Friedman when asked to sell the idea. It&#8217;s worth dissecting, because this is exactly how the movement gets its converts. It&#8217;s easy. It smells sorta nice. It reads like a children&#8217;s book. And it&#8217;s spreading, thanks to these naive, ruthlessly ignorant, passive do-nothings.

OH?! That&#8217;s it, folks. Game over! We won! He&#8217;s solved the problem. To everything! Housing, desolation, sports, even cyclosporiasis! Socialism will even fix that pesky explosive diarrhea you got from Taco Bell the other night.
Holy cow. (And my generation wonders why our elders don&#8217;t respect us.)
Immediate takeaways, before I debunk this kid&#8217;s entire worldview: One, did this guy just admit he needed one of the deadliest political ideologies in human history to make friends? Is he gonna start claiming a socialist government will also provide you a girlfriend? Two, the NBA and the World Cup are merit-based systems, run by capitalists, sponsored by capitalists, and broadcast by capitalists. Sorry to be the one to tell you. Three, we are in serious trouble as a society if this is what our education system is currently manufacturing.
Young people, listen closely: socialism is not benevolent. Communism is not benevolent. &#8220;Democratic socialism&#8221; is a euphemism for socialism. And it is not benevolent.
Socialism is a destructive and deadly ideology whose end goal is communism, the never-before-actualized idea of a classless, stateless, moneyless society. But boy, have they tried, and every time, a body count comes with it. If society doesn&#8217;t wake up to its evils, the world our founders built will perish. Which, for the Democratic Socialists of America, is the whole point.
Marxism, the broader term for all of this nonsense, targets the aggrieved youth. It finds privileged, bored, generally well-educated young adults whose frontal lobes aren&#8217;t fully developed, and piggybacks on their distaste for society. This kid was a perfect target.
He&#8217;s looking for a home, a sense of belonging, and he&#8217;s convinced himself he found it inside a warm collective called socialism. He&#8217;s got it exactly backward. Socialism is a system of public ownership over private ownership. Nowhere in that definition is there a clause about hugs.
You find community at church, with your family, at your kid&#8217;s soccer game, or in a book club. If he found it at a World Cup watch party, that&#8217;s despite socialism, not because of it. The World Cup is about as capitalist as human civilization gets: a merit-based tournament, bankrolled by billionaire sponsors, that crowns winners and sends losers home. Given the choice, socialists would flatten that whole format so nobody wins, nobody loses, and nobody, notably, tries.
Don&#8217;t take my word for it. New York City DSA Co-Chair Gustavo Gordillo <a href="https://x.com/onetexgal9/status/2078593501743169906/video/1">said</a> the quiet part out loud to Fox News&#8217; Martha MacCallum this month, defending the city&#8217;s plan to open taxpayer-funded grocery stores that undercut the corner bodega. Asked how it&#8217;s fair to drop a government-subsidized competitor next to small businesses that can&#8217;t match the prices, Gordillo&#8217;s answer was, essentially, tough luck: if a publicly owned grocery store that brings prices down in the neighborhood is enough to put someone out of business, maybe they shouldn&#8217;t have been in that business in the first place.
Funny how &#8220;loving and sharing&#8221; always seems to end with somebody&#8217;s shop boarded up.
Pressed separately on how much profit a landlord should be allowed to make, Gordillo <a href="https://x.com/RedWavePress/status/2078470471767437729/video/1">said</a> no one has a constitutional right to a double-digit return on their investment.
Ruthless.
Speaking of housing: the mayor these kids installed on the promise to &#8220;freeze the rent&#8221; did, in fact, freeze the rent. And all of that will work! We&#8217;ll all be so warm and collective and together. And poor, but hey, together. It&#8217;ll work like a charm until it starts to look like Mao&#8217;s China.

One of the biggest problems with being a socialist is that you have to pretend to be poor while stealing everyone else&#8217;s money for yourself. Call it the Coco Chanel Commie problem, and it&#8217;s spreading.
This manifested last week when the far-Left, socialist French politician, Louis Boyard, was <a href="https://x.com/realMaalouf/status/2078162460561846766">caught</a> on camera taking off a watch, which people speculate is a high-end Rolex, before his interview during which he lambasts the ultra-rich and the system that benefits them.
How parfait.
If the watch is the $50,000 unit the internet says it is, then Boyard would join the long list of champagne socialists, millionaire Marxists, gauche caviar hypocrites who are becoming increasingly loud and luxurious. Right behind Ségolène Royal, the Socialist Party&#8217;s former presidential candidate, who owned multiple luxury properties and was accused of avoiding the Impôt de Solidarité sur la Fortune (ISF), France&#8217;s wealth tax at the time.
Their policies will starve you dry, but they&#8217;ll sure as heck live in opulence as they sell you their poison.
At 25 years old, the French MP is already in the top 5-10% of earners in his country, yet that doesn&#8217;t stop him from criticizing capitalism&#8217;s success, defending the welfare state, emphasizing wealth redistribution through higher taxes, and despising the moderate Left of French politics. He&#8217;s a DSA junkie, here to destroy France from within, just like the DSA activists in America are trying to do. But like those on the Titanic, at least he&#8217;ll be dressed nice as the ship goes down. And he knows exactly how to work a crowd.
The social media savvy politician, boasting a whopping 531,000 followers on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/boyardlouis/?hl=en">Instagram</a> alone, abides by the same playbook as socialist social media influencers and politicians in the United States. Promise free things and easier living to an aggrieved youth class, convince them that socialists alone can solve all of their problems, and if they&#8217;ll only relinquish their rights, securities, and property, they&#8217;ll be rewarded with goodness and equality. (Spoiler alert: the goodness and equality and rainbows and butterflies never come.)
Boyard isn&#8217;t a one-off. He&#8217;s just the latest face on a very old grift, and America has plenty of its own.
He&#8217;s eerily similar to our least favorite anchor baby turned tyrant, Hasan Piker, who has called for the death of capitalists, conservative lawmakers, and American greatness generally. Piker was flogged online recently after he jetted off to Cuba <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/the-pied-piker-is-leading-all-the-anti-american-vermin">(potentially in violation of American law, mind you) </a>donning a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/cocaine-with-the-castros">$690 silk button-down, $1,380 Cartier glasses, and $4,000</a> luxury rings while <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/exclusive-cuban-operative-accused-of-aiding-hasan-piker-posed-as-tourist-before-overstaying-visa">partying</a> it up in the Marxist nation that endures frequent blackouts in its capital city for 90% of its residents.
The DSA prolocutor who&#8217;s in favor of taxing you for everything you&#8217;ve got, seizing private property, abolishing current American institutions, and expanding the welfare apparatus indefinitely is worth a shiny $8 million, owns a multi-million dollar home in West Hollywood and a Porsche Taycan, thanks in large part to his rewarding career as a Twitch streamer. This is where he secretes straight sunshine and wisdom to the masses, perched atop his spinny chair. One such piece of wisdom: &#8220;I&#8217;d rather be a rich socialist than a broke boy defending capitalism.&#8221; From his mouth to the devil&#8217;s ears.
His boyfriend, and New York&#8217;s terrifying step-dad, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/episode/the-ben-shapiro-show-episode-2452?row=0&amp;elementPosition=7&amp;rowType=Web+Search+Overlay">Mayor Zohran Mamdani</a>, has the same issue, faces the same moral dilemma (which neither of them seems too pressed to solve), where they preach policies that make life more unaffordable for Americans, dressed up in pretty packaging, while profiting from the systems they deride. Mayor Marxist has a higher <a href="https://x.com/patrickbetdavid/status/2077032024347398148">salary</a> at $258,750 a year than Marco Rubio, Pete Hegseth, Scott Bessent, and JD Vance, and members of his city council just voted to approve a pay raise for themselves and higher officials. To pay for Mrs. Mamdani&#8217;s vintage Balenciaga coat and $630 Miista boots, of course. This collective is feeling suffocatingly warm, isn&#8217;t it?
But this isn&#8217;t just tacky. It&#8217;s the same grift that ends in bread lines every single time.
Take Fidel Castro or Hugo Chavez, communist dictators who got rich selling the same promises Boyard, Piker, and Mamdani are selling now. Castro&#8217;s personal wealth is estimated to have peaked at $<a href="https://www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-politicians/presidents/fidel-castro-net-worth/">900</a> million in 2006. Chavez died worth an estimated $4 <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/world/hugo-chavez-daughter-is-the-richest-individual-in-venezuela-report-claims">billion</a>, unable to hear the cries of his starving, suffering citizens from the porch of his mansion, the leather seats of his Mercedes, or over the sound of his high-end helicopters. Sound familiar?
Why would people put such egotistical strongmen in office in the first place? Well, because they claimed to help the poor, fight corruption, and reduce inequality. They promised to redistribute wealth and land, expand social programs to make everything universal and free, and increase state control over industries like oil.
And then once in power, the masks fell.
Will we ever learn these evergreen lessons: That those promising us pies in the sky on the condition that we surrender our freedoms probably don&#8217;t have our best interests at heart? That these new socialists aren&#8217;t magically absolved of corruption, and immune to greed?
Of course, many politicians and activists will be enticed by power and hungry for more, but at least the capitalists are proponents of a system that makes everyone money, lifts the most humans out of poverty, and is the most effective economic mechanism the world has yet to create. While socialists are the sweetest talkers, their end goal of communism — a classless, moneyless, stateless society in which everyone farts flowers and poops rainbows — will do what it&#8217;s done for all of time, and leave you high and dry before you can ever reach such utopia. Meanwhile, real people stand in real bread lines while their leaders count offshore accounts.
Or we can continue to elect the likes of Chef Boyard(ee), as he sells destruction and cooks up corruption, wearing a Rolex.

As my boss likes to <a href="https://x.com/bdomenech">say</a>, “You can tell a man&#8217;s vices by his friends,” and Arizona Sen. Ruben Gallego, a 46-year-old Democrat with his eye on 2028, has spent years surrounding himself with men whose scandals eventually caught up with them. So color us shocked that the man who looks like a predatory version of Gus from Cinderella may have one of his own waiting in the wings.
The now-married congressman admitted to having sexual relationships with two House staffers during his time in office amid a &#8220;pattern of mistakes and missteps and judgment calls,&#8221; a source told the <a href="https://nypost.com/2026/07/16/us-news/sen-ruben-gallego-had-sexual-relationships-with-two-house-aides-sources-reveal-to-the-post/">New York Post</a>. He also apparently has &#8220;very flirtatious&#8221; habits with others that &#8220;may come back to haunt him.&#8221; Sounds like more infractions may be hiding in his closet.
Could there have been signs that he may have felt inclined to use his position of power to coerce younger women into relationships with him? Any at all? The man is infamous for filing for divorce in late 2016, when his then-wife was heavily pregnant, weeks from giving birth. He&#8217;s currently under investigation for potentially misusing campaign funds on family travel, childcare, and Super Bowl tickets. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna&#8217;s office has passed sexual misconduct allegations against Gallego to Senate Majority Leader Thune&#8217;s staff. And he just about had a <a href="https://x.com/EricLDaugh/status/2044105376186986651/video/1">seizure</a> on camera when his very &#8220;best friend&#8221; in the House, Eric Swalwell, watched his own scandal detonate.
Nah. The power clearly hasn’t gone to his head. Just ask the Democratic operative who&#8217;s crossed paths with him: she told the Post she witnessed that “flirtatious nature after a couple of drinks,&#8221; and has &#8220;always steered clear.”
But the real story isn&#8217;t Gallego&#8217;s alleged conduct in isolation. It&#8217;s who he chose to stand next to while it was happening. Look at the men Gallego has called friends, endorsed, and defended, and a pattern starts to look less like a coincidence and more like a type. Democrats don&#8217;t seem to have a problem with credible allegations against their rising stars. They have a problem with those allegations becoming a liability at the ballot box. The women making the accusations don&#8217;t suddenly become believable. The candidate just becomes unwinnable. The support doesn&#8217;t disappear when the accusations surface. It disappears when the polling does.
Exhibit A: Eric Swalwell. Democrats went to the mat for him against allegations of sexual assault, right up until he started sliding in the polls. Then the party quietly dropped him; he left Congress, and his 2026 California gubernatorial bid died with barely a eulogy.
Gallego, for the record, was listed on Swalwell&#8217;s campaign site as his best friend. The two traveled together, shared a joint account, and yet Gallego insists he had no knowledge of his wingman’s alleged r*peyness. Sure.
If Swalwell was the pilot episode, Graham Platner was the highly unfortunate sequel. Gallego endorsed him too, the Senate candidate from Maine who nearly made it to November carrying sexual harassment allegations, a Nazi tattoo, an account on an app known for messaging underage girls, an affair within months of his own wedding, a Reddit confession about masturbating in porta-potties (bonus points for explicit wall décor), and a claim that he&#8217;d r*pe home invaders, but, you know, not in a gay way. None of it moved Gallego. Then, Platner&#8217;s numbers started slipping, and suddenly a Democratic voter&#8217;s r*pe allegation was worth taking seriously. He dropped out, still insisting it was all a lie.
Gallego had once <a href="https://x.com/RubenGallego/status/2028471098614890658">called</a> him the &#8220;kind of fighter Maine hasn&#8217;t seen in a long time,&#8221; until he couldn&#8217;t ignore that the fighting was actually happening in the bedroom, and women were on the losing end.
And don&#8217;t forget the third member of Gallego&#8217;s <a href="https://x.com/nypost/status/2045488277101084966">&#8220;cool kids&#8217; clique,&#8221;</a> Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-CA), who was spotted making out with a Swalwell aide at a house party in 2023. Nobody blinked when he later admitted to cheating on his wife.
But that’s just what “cool kids” do, right, guys?
It&#8217;s rich, watching the men harping the <a href="https://x.com/mazemoore/status/2077870498457817544">loudest</a> about Jeffrey Epstein and those most devoted to &#8220;believing women&#8221; who then turn out to be the ones getting handsy the moment the lights dim in D.C. Apparently, belief is conditional. Ask any of them, and they&#8217;ll tell you they stand with survivors. Just don&#8217;t ask them to stand with one if she&#8217;s holding up their candidate&#8217;s poll numbers.
We will follow the facts, and right now, Gallego is nothing more than a hairy little dude with an eye contact problem and a prior affinity for younger, vulnerable staffers. But if his vices are in any way related to his friends, he might have a problem on his hands.

There are two competing visions playing out in our culture right now. One prizes traditional values, marriage, matrimony, and the worth of a soul. The other peddles promiscuity and lust, urging women to trade their innocence for a hollow imitation of freedom. 
 
Two video clips that recently went viral perfectly embody this divide. In the first, octogenarian philosophy professor Peter Kreeft was on The Daily Wire&#8217;s &#8220;Pints with Aquinas,&#8221; <a href="https://www.instagram.com/itsallpolitics__/?hl=en">explaining</a> that a man should marry a woman for her soul, not her physical appearance, because even staring at his wife&#8217;s corpse, he found her most beautiful. He understood that the body fades, but the thing worth loving, the eternal part, never does. The second clip represents that latter, destructive philosophy: Brianna &#8220;Chickenfry&#8221; LaPaglia, on her crudely titled podcast Plan Bri, <a href="https://www.mediaite.com/media/podcasts/erika-kirk-is-a-fcking-clown-barstool-star-brianna-chickenfry-rages-at-charlie-kirks-widow-in-stunning-diatribe/">calling</a> Erika Kirk a &#8220;f*cking clown&#8221; for daring to promote the nuclear family, traditional values, and faith.
Chickenfry, a 27-year-old media personality, is best known for her failed relationship with singer Zach Bryan, swearing aggressively, and posting videos of herself hungover. She claims to be a champion of female power and progress, and ridicules Erika Kirk and TPUSA for apparently &#8220;preying&#8221; on young women. Chickenfry is everything wrong with our current culture, wrapped in a ring light and a vape cloud. She rails against &#8220;bad influence&#8221; while being one of the worst exemplars of young women.
Chickenfry (hilariously asinine that this is how she&#8217;s referenced) fulminated that Kirk is a lazy trad wife, putting women behind &#8220;five hundred million steps.&#8221; Hm. Well, it takes the average joe 137 years to hit 500 million steps, so apparently by discussing the beautiful harmony of marriage between man and woman, recognizing the importance of strong and stable men leading a family, and encouraging women to find the love of their life and have babies with them, we young, impressionable, naive ladies who hear this nonsensical talk have been sent back to 1889! Ahh! The horror! Instead, women should apparently imbibe from the infinite wisdom of Brianna Chickenfry, who is on a self-proclaimed &#8220;d*ck break&#8221; as of this week, and who needs to slurp on a flavored nicotine vape stick every three minutes to fire up the neurons in her brain that produce such extraordinary sagacity.
She also claimed on &#8220;Plan Bri,&#8221; the show that is literally named after Plan B, a drug women take post-sex to undo what sex is for, that &#8220;Turning Point is preying on women whose frontal lobes aren&#8217;t developed,&#8221; that Kirk is a &#8220;hypocrite&#8221; who should go take care of her family, and that she is simply the &#8220;f*cking worst.&#8221;
A truly darling woman, the epitome of class and grace, Chickenfry is.
Yet by her own logic, women under 25 shouldn&#8217;t be listening to Erika Kirk talk about family or faith. Instead, these underdeveloped mushball ladies should form their thoughts, feelings, and actions based on Brianna&#8217;s advice. I mentioned earlier she&#8217;s on a &#8220;d*ck break.&#8221; This is news to me, because on June 21, I was unfortunately exposed to a <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@itgirl_/video/7653913186038566158">video</a> of her saying she wants to have &#8220;like, a hooker summer,&#8221; because she&#8217;s never done the &#8220;be a whore thing.&#8221; Because she&#8217;s &#8220;so scared.&#8221;
*Sighs.* Lots to, like, unpack there.
This all matters because this is the caliber of role models young women are exposed to on the internet, and it’s detrimental to them and society. Chickenfry, Alex Cooper of “Call Her Daddy,” a rotating cast of OnlyFans influencers, and a thousand of their carbon copies are reaching girls at scale, selling the same script: it’s okay to sleep around. It’s okay to relinquish your goods for the next man you meet on the street. It’s okay to talk crassly and openly about sex, lust, cheating, and then turn around and claim that all men are evil. In fact, it’s more than okay. It’s preferred.
To these women, this is the height of female empowerment. &#8220;Experimenting&#8221; with whoever, wherever, whenever. Then telling other women to do it too. Because it&#8217;s &#8220;freeing&#8221; not to be tied down to a man. It&#8217;s &#8220;true feminism&#8221; not to be exclusive with just one guy. It&#8217;s &#8220;emancipating&#8221; to sleep with whoever you want, and then abort the resulting child the moment that child becomes an inconvenience rather than a blessing.
But these nostrums don&#8217;t survive contact with reality and proven biology. They lead to unhappiness, loneliness, and unfulfillment. Alex Cooper, after preaching infidelity and anti-men quackery for years, ended up married with a baby on the way. OnlyFans creators are warning newcomers that the business wrecks their odds at real relationships and normal employment. Chickenfry herself has had her heart broken publicly, and she&#8217;s obviously angry about it, yet the gospel she&#8217;s preaching to teenage girls is a blueprint for the same heartbreak, just with extra steps.
But she let the quiet part slip. She claims she wants to have a “hooker summer,” but she&#8217;s scared. Where does that fear come from? The instinctive understanding that we are not rag dolls to be thrown around. Women are not built for detachment. We can put on a face and act tough, but our biology doesn&#8217;t understand &#8220;hooker summer.&#8221; Our biology craves one love.
Erika Kirk is not a &#8220;f*cking clown.&#8221; She&#8217;s a widowed mother of two. She&#8217;s a workhorse and was a traditional spouse. She&#8217;s a God-fearing, forgiving, honorable woman who experienced more loss and grief than most of us will ever know. She&#8217;s promoting an idea that has been proven true across every era of human history: that one of the greatest things we can ever do as human beings is to get married and raise kids, to find a person whose soul you can love eternally, no matter how wrinkly, worn, and withered their flesh may become, straight into the next life.
I hope Chickenfry finds her rooster. I hope her platform grows into something that promotes goodness, monogamy, and the harmonious and sacred union of man and wife. Until then, I&#8217;ll pray for her, the same way I suspect Erika Kirk already does.
