Mainstream news outlets are scrambling to distance themselves from Gaza-based photographers who were revealed to have embedded with Hamas terrorists as they committed atrocities against Israeli citizens on October 7.
The Associated Press, Reuters, and CNN all insisted late Wednesday night that they had no advance knowledge of the Hamas terrorist attack, while indicating that they could not make the same guarantees for the photographers they work with. A <a href="https://honestreporting.com/photographers-without-borders-ap-reuters-pictures-of-hamas-atrocities-raise-ethical-questions/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">report</a> from media watchdog Honest Reporting showed that photographers were with Hamas as it breached the border out of Gaza, and had a front row view of its attacks — raising questions about how photographers knew about the surprise attack.
CNN says it has formally cut ties with Hassan Eslaiah, one of the photographers highlighted by Honest Reporting on Wednesday, who was shown not only to be with terrorists on October 7, but also to have a cozy relationship with the terrorist group.
“We are aware of the article and photo concerning Hassan Eslaiah, a freelance photojournalist who has worked with a number of international and Israeli outlets,” CNN press officer Train Kumar told The Daily Wire. “While we have not at this time found reason to doubt the journalistic accuracy of the work he has done for us, we have decided to suspend all ties with him.”
The Associated Press, which has also published photos from Eslaiah, said it had no knowledge of the attacks before they took place — but notably failed to make the same guarantees for photographers it works with.
“The Associated Press had no knowledge of the Oct. 7 attacks before they happened,” spokeswoman Nicole Meir told The Daily Wire. “The role of the AP is to gather information on breaking news events around the world, wherever they happen, even when those events are horrific and cause mass casualties. AP uses images taken by freelancers around the world, including in Gaza.”
Reuters, which also published pictures from reporters who appear to have been embedded with the terrorists as they kidnapped and murdered Israelis, also told The Daily Wire it “categorically denies” that that it “had prior knowledge of the attack or that we embedded journalists with Hamas on October 7.”
The outlet said it had no prior relationship with the photographers it published pictures from of the attack.

“Reuters acquired photographs from two Gaza-based freelance photographers who were at the border on the morning of October 7, with whom it did not have a prior relationship,” a spokeswoman told The Daily Wire on Thursday morning. “The photographs published by Reuters were taken two hours after Hamas fired rockets across southern Israel and more than 45 minutes after Israel said gunmen had crossed the border. Reuters staff journalists were not on the ground at the locations referred to in the HonestReporting article.”
The New York Times, which also published photos from embedded photographers, has not responded to a request for comment.
The exposé into the photographers came after much scrutiny into anti-Israel bias in the media. Among the high-profile incidents of bias since war broke out in Gaza was the media blaming Israel for a hospital explosion that was actually caused by the terrorists. The false reporting led to mass protests against the Jewish state and Jewish people across the globe.
Eslaiah, the photographer highlighted by Honest Reporting, has a cozy relationship with terrorist groups in Gaza. Posts unearthed in the past 24 hours show him kissing Hamas leadership in Gaza, and armed with a grenade as he travels by motorcycle in the terrorist-controlled territory.

Photographers from the Associated Press and Reuters appear to have been embedded with Hamas terrorists as they executed terrorist attacks against Israel on October 7, according to a new <a href="https://honestreporting.com/photographers-without-borders-ap-reuters-pictures-of-hamas-atrocities-raise-ethical-questions/">report from Honest Reporting</a>, a media watchdog.
Photos posted by the news agencies of the surprise terrorist attack on Israel include ones showing terrorists breaking the gates to Kibbutz Kfar Aza, where residents were caught completely off guard and dozens were murdered. Photos also show that photographers were on the scene as terrorists took civilians such as Shani Louk hostage, and attacking Israeli tanks on the other side of the Gaza border.
The photos raise serious questions about whether the news agencies had advance knowledge that the terrorist attacks were taking place. The four individuals credited by the Associated Press for images of the attacks — Hassan Eslaiah, Yousef Masoud, Ali Mahmud, and Hatem Ali — are all photographers based in Gaza, where it was revealed in 2021 that the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/associated-press-laments-loss-of-gaza-bureau-which-shared-office-space-with-terrorist-organization-hamas">Associated Press shared office space</a> with the terrorist group.
One of the photographers, Hassan Eslaiah, has reportedly been pictured getting kissed by a top Hamas operative who is said to be one of the chief architects of the deadly terrorist attacks, which killed over 1,400 and have led to a massive war with Israel.

Eslaiah&#8217;s social media posts from the day, which have since been deleted but were preserved by Honest Reporting, show he was on the scene. &#8220;Live from inside the Gaza Strip settlements,&#8221; he wrote along with an image of himself with a burning Israeli tank.
After publication of this article, a spokeswoman for the Associated Press denied any advance knowledge of the attack.

Honest Reporting is operated by Gil Hoffman, a veteran Israeli journalist who worked as a political correspondent for the Jerusalem Post for decades. The media watchdog says the &#8220;audience deserves to know&#8221; how photographer&#8217;s real-time knowledge of the terrorist attacks came about. Residents in neighborhoods attacked by Hamas were caught completely off-guard and waited several hours for help to arrive.

The mainstream media has come under fire for its handling of Israel&#8217;s war against Hamas, with outlets such as the New York Times and others <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/after-it-lied-about-israel-new-york-times-verification-badge-removed-by-x">treating false claims</a> by Hamas as facts — such as that the Israelis killed hundreds with a strike on a hospital, when in reality it was a terrorist missile that hit the facility.
The New York Times is actively <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/ny-times-hires-hitler-loving-journalist-to-cover-israel-hamas-war">publishing stories</a> from a freelance reporter in Gaza who has proclaimed admiration for Adolf Hitler.

Republican senator and presidential candidate Tim Scott says the racist ads attacking Kentucky Republican Daniel Cameron as an &#8220;Uncle Tom&#8221; are the &#8220;epitome of racism,&#8221; and says the silence of his Democrat opponent Andy Beshear is &#8220;despicable.&#8221;
The ads from a liberal Super PAC funded by billionaire George Soros call into question whether Cameron, the first black attorney general in Kentucky history, is truly a friend of the black community. The ad from Black Voters Matters PAC refers to Cameron as “Uncle Daniel Cameron,” and uses the saying, “Skinfolk ain’t kinfolk” — a refrain used by black liberals to suggest that anyone who disagrees with them politically is a race traitor.
Scott, who in 2014 became the first black senator elected in the south since reconstruction, said Beshear, Kentucky&#8217;s sitting governor, has a duty to stand up to the overt racism in his state.
&#8220;Why in the world would the governor of a state with the type of diversity he has, with the mantle the people have given him,  remain silent?&#8221; Scott said in an interview with The Daily Wire. &#8220;For one reason: Power. Unless it&#8217;s that he just authentically believes it all.&#8221;
&#8220;The simplest way to state what these yoyos are doing is race-baiting, and feeding the fire for the purpose of power,&#8221; he explained. &#8220;They feel like they can do whatever it takes to divide the state of Kentucky, to fan the flames of racism, to be small and to be so addicted to power that you will call that man, Uncle Tom.&#8221;
Beshear has declined to comment on the ad, telling the Lexington Herald-Leader that because the ad came from &#8220;an African American-led PAC,&#8221; the governor has opted to &#8220;let them comment for themselves.&#8221;
The PAC has doubled-down on the attack, putting up a new ad using the same &#8220;Skinfolk ain&#8217;t Kinfolk&#8221; refrain along with an image of Cameron as the fictional black character played by Samuel L. Jackson in film Django Unchained — the character was vicious to his fellow slaves, and was described by Jackson as the film&#8217;s &#8220;hateful negro.&#8221;

Scott says Beshear&#8217;s failure to condemn the ad sends the wrong message to black youth.
&#8220;It&#8217;s a signal to every little kid growing up in Kentucky who happens to be brown, that if you stick your head up at all and espouse conservative virtues, you might be next. To think of the signal and the message that they&#8217;re sending, it&#8217;s just despicable,&#8221; Scott said, adding that those who are silent about it are &#8220;complicit.&#8221;
Cliff Albright, the co-founder of Black Voters Matter Action PAC, told radio host Roland Martin that he had no regrets about the ad, and that Cameron is a white supremacist.
&#8220;He has shown himself to be just as much of a threat to the black community as the staunchest white supremacists,&#8221; Albright said. &#8220;You don&#8217;t have to be white to pursue and reinforce white supremacist policies. As we said in the ad, all skinfolk ain&#8217;t kinfolk.&#8221;

Albright also said that calling Cameron an Uncle Tom, a slur derived from Harriet Beecher Stowe&#8217;s Uncle Tom&#8217;s Cabin novel, would be an insult to Uncle Tom.
&#8220;Technically, we didn&#8217;t call him Uncle Tom right? To do so actually would probably be more of an insult to the actual Uncle Tom,&#8221; Albright said.
Cameron has condemned the ad as &#8220;racist and hateful.&#8221;
“I never faced racism or discrimination while growing up or working in Kentucky until I decided to stand up to the national Democrat establishment.” Cameron told The Daily Wire, which was first to report on the ad. “I don’t support their policies, so the Left attacks me for my skin color.”
Beshear has not responded to requests for comment.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken has reportedly asked the Qatari government to rein in Al Jazeera’s coverage of Israel’s war in Gaza — an apparent admission from the Biden administration that the outlet, despite its failure to register as one, is viewed as an agent of Qatar.
The Foreign Agents Registration Act requires any entity that acts on behalf of a foreign entity to foreign principal to influence U.S. public opinion. Analysts say it’s hard to fit the bill more clearly than Al Jazeera — funded entirely by the Qatari government and actively publishing highly trafficked English-language news in the United States.
Yet the Biden administration has done nothing to pressure Al Jazeera to register as a foreign agent, bewildering those who have been pushing for years for the Qatari outlet to file the legally required registration. Now that the Biden administration has telegraphed its determination that Qatar has the power to control Al Jazeera, it’s time for the foreign agent relationship to be made official.
“Al Jazeera consistently pushes the position of the Qatari government, which is often antisemitic, anti-American, and anti-Israel,” said Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) spokesman Darin Miller. “The Qatari government has always insisted they don&#8217;t control Al Jazeera. Sen. Cruz doesn&#8217;t believe that is true, and apparently neither does Sec. Blinken. There is no excuse not to force them to register for FARA.”
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), who authored a letter to Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland in July 2021 regarding Al Jazeera’s failure to register as a foreign agent, says it’s never been more important.
“Israel is fighting an information war as much as a physical one,” Cotton told The Daily Wire. “Biased information can have disastrous consequences — just look at the damage done by the New York Times’ false story about the hospital in Gaza.”
“With the stakes so high, the Biden administration must insist that Al Jazeera finally admit its influence operation,” Cotton said.
Blinken, in his plea to Qatar, said that Al Jazeera’s coverage was “full of anti-Israel incitement,” according to Axios. Israel is slated to bar the outlet from operating in the country after allegations that it was directly aiding the Hamas terrorists, transmitting “sensitive information” about Israeli troop movements to its enemy.
Qatar has come under the microscope for its role in harboring Hamas — the terrorist group&#8217;s leader, Ismail Haniyeh, is based in Doha, Qatar&#8217;s capital city. Despite its ties to the terrorist group, U.S. officials have maintained relations with the oil-rich state. A Daily Wire investigation earlier this year found that Qatar has used an American nonprofit, the Attorney General Alliance, to pay for attorneys general to travel to Doha for meetings with top Qatari officials.
Al Jazeera has been one of the most biased sources of news around Israel’s war against Hamas — the Qatar-based outlet, for example, ran with false allegations that Israel bombed a hospital in Gaza, when in reality the explosion was caused by a terrorist rocket. It published videos casting doubt about “Israel’s changing narrative on hospital bombing,” and stated that “investigations reveal discrepancies in Israel’s Gaza hospital attack claims.”
U.S. officials have stated with “high confidence” that Palestinian terrorists were the source of the hospital bombing.
“Al Jazeera has been credibly accused of conducting espionage operations against Qatar&#8217;s perceived enemies in Israel and even in the United States,”Miller, the Cruz spokesman, explained.
Though the outlet’s biased coverage has had massive consequences with war breaking out in the Middle East, it’s advocacy for the foreign policy of Qatar is nothing new. In 2017, the Council on Foreign Relations wrote that Al Jazeera “helps give Qatar influence far greater than what a country of its size could usually expect.”
The Trump administration in one of its final acts ordered a U.S.-based Al Jazeera affiliate to register as a foreign agent, with its Department of Justice arguing that the outlet engages in “political activities” on behalf of Qatar’s government, according to the New York Times.
The foreign agent filing never came through, but the Biden administration has failed to make the outlet face any consequences, according to a group of U.S. Senators that includes Cotton and Cruz.
“Al Jazeera+ has willfully ignored DOJ&#8217;s mandate and has failed to register as a foreign agent,” wrote the senators to Attorney General Merrick Garland in July 2021. “With AJ+&#8217;s refusal to register under FARA, agents of the Qatari government continue to operate in the United States in violation of the law.”
“It is imperative for DOJ to explain what, if any, steps it has taken to enforce the law,” the senators wrote.
The Department of Justice did not respond to a request for comment on Al Jazeera’s foreign agent registration status. Willful violation of FARA is punishable with up to five years in federal prison.

The media monitoring company that issues “trust scores” to news outlets says it still doesn’t have enough information to conclude that terrorists are to blame for the deadly blast at a Gaza hospital — although all available evidence has led U.S. intelligence to declare with “high confidence” that this is the case.
In a Thursday email to The Daily Wire, a NewsGuard senior analyst called into question commentary by Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro pinning the blame on Palestinian terrorists.
“There have been enough conflicting accounts that, in NewsGuard&#8217;s view, we still don&#8217;t know enough to pin the blame definitively on [Palestinian Islamic Jihad],” wrote Valerie Pavilonis of NewsGuard, which has received <a href="https://twitter.com/gekaminsky/status/1634279887887269889" target="_blank" rel="noopener">nearly a million dollars</a> from the federal government for its services.
At the time of her email, U.S. intelligence officials had already <a href="https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/us-has-high-confidence-palestinian-rocket-caused-gaza-hospital-blast-official-2023-10-25/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">gone public with their assessment</a> that the hospital blast was the result of a Palestinian rocket. Based on analysis of four different video feeds as well as the effect of the blast, it was determined with “high confidence” that the rocket came from inside Gaza and was fired by Palestinian militants.
A video analysis <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/2023/10/26/gaza-hospital-blast-evidence-israel-hamas/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">published</a> by the Washington Post on Thursday confirmed that “fighters in Gaza launched a barrage of rockets toward Israel and in the direction of al-Ahli Hospital 44 seconds before” the explosion.
These findings are consistent with Shapiro’s statements made on the October 18 episode of “The Ben Shapiro Show” that NewsGuard is taking issue with. The only evidence to the contrary has been supplied from the Palestinian militant groups themselves, which stated that more than 500 people were killed from an Israeli air strike — claims that have been proven to be false.
“Naturally, when a hospital allegedly blew up in the Gaza Strip yesterday afternoon, and Hamas immediately claimed that the explosion was an Israeli airstrike and that 500 people had been killed, the media used their heads,” Shapiro said. “They decided to wait for all the information to emerge because, you know, Hamas are liars. Nah, just kidding. They went with Hamas’ report because this is what they do. As it turned out, Hamas was, as usual, lying, lying from beginning to end. A failed Palestinian Islamic Jihad rocket hit the hospital.”
U.S. intelligence officials say that “catastrophic motor failure” is likely to blame for the misfire of the terrorist rocket that hit the hospital grounds.
“There was a catastrophic motor failure that likely occurred, which separated the motor and the warhead,” an official told media outlets. “The warhead landed in the hospital compound and that was the second explosion and a much bigger one.”
That assessment based on video footage from the night of the blast is confirmed by scenes from the aftermath, according to the official, who said there would have been “large craters and broader blast effects” if the explosion was caused by Israeli munitions. In reality, there was only “light structural damage,” consistent with what would have been caused by a misfired terrorist projectile.
Media outlets that blamed Israel based on claims from Gaza’s Ministry of Health, which is controlled by Hamas, were forced to backtrack their initial claims about the blast. The New York Times admits it relied “too heavily” on unverified information from terrorists in its reporting.
NewsGuard, a for-profit organization, says its mission is to provide “transparent tools to counter misinformation for readers.” It says it hires “trained journalists” to “rate and review” outlets based on apolitical assessments of facts. It gives news outlets each a “trust score” ranging from 0-100.
It is unclear whether NewsGuard will negatively rate outlets that blamed Israel for the explosion. Pavilonis, the NewsGuard analyst, did not respond to a request for comment on its reluctance to pin blame for the attack on Palestinian terrorists.
Asked about NewsGuard’s attempt to fact-check his coverage of the hospital explosion, Shapiro called the inquiry a “mockery.”
“Leave it to a perverse mockery of fact checking to mimic Hamas’ propaganda about lack of clarity surrounding the Palestinian Islamic Jihad hospital attack, despite literally all evidence to the contrary,” Shapiro told The Daily Wire. “With fact-checking like this, who needs disinformation?”
Critics have called into question just how trustworthy NewsGuard’s assessments are. Independent journalist Michael Shellenberger, who interviewed the company’s co-CEOs, points out that the media monitor improperly downgraded outlets that reported on the possibility that COVID-19 escaped from a Chinese lab, a theory that is now widely believed to be the most plausible explanation for its origin.
A Washington, D.C., news outlet <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/independent-news-publisher-sues-us-gov-newsguard-over-alleged-first-amendment-violations" target="_blank" rel="noopener">sued NewsGuard this week</a>, charging that the media monitor is “engaged in a pattern and practice of labeling, stigmatizing and defaming American media organizations that oppose or dissent from American foreign and defense policy,” pointing to a $750,000 payment from the U.S. Department of Defense as a conflict of interest.
After publication of this article, NewsGuard&#8217;s General Manager Matt Skibinski said the company has not downgraded any outlet for stating that terrorists caused the explosion.

A liberal Super PAC that counts billionaire George Soros as a major donor is running racially charged ads in Kentucky against Republican Daniel Cameron, who says his Democrat opponent should condemn the “racist and hateful” attacks being aired ahead of next month’s election.
The ad from Black Voters Matter Action PAC, an electioneering group that spends millions in support of Democrat candidates, is up with an ad that refers to Cameron as “Uncle Daniel Cameron,” and uses the saying, “Skinfolk ain’t kinfolk” — a refrain used by black liberals to suggest that anyone who disagrees with them politically is a race traitor.

Black Voters Matter Action PAC has thrown its resources into Kentucky, which is one of just a few states slated to hold major elections next month. The Super PAC has been on the ground in Kentucky holding events in support of Democrat Andy Beshear, the incumbent governor running for reelection. Its ad ran on WMJM Magic 101.3, an R&amp;B station in Jeffersontown, Kentucky.
Cameron, Kentucky’s first black attorney general, said he’s faced similar “racist attacks” from the Left for years because he doesn’t agree with their policies.
“I never faced racism or discrimination while growing up or working in Kentucky until I decided to stand up to the national Democrat establishment.” Cameron told The Daily Wire, which alerted his campaign to the radio ad. “I don’t support their policies, so the Left attacks me for my skin color.”
“I believe here in Kentucky you shouldn’t be judged by the color of your skin, but by the content of your character. The same cannot be said of Joe Biden, out-of-state, radical left interest groups, and the national Democrat Party, who think you can’t be black and conservative. I never faced racism or discrimination while growing up or working in Kentucky until I decided to stand up to the national Democrat establishment,” Cameron said.
Cameron called on Beshear to should &#8220;condemn this racist and hateful ad being used to support his campaign.”
Beshear’s campaign did not respond to a request for comment on the ad. Alpha Media, the company that owns the radio station, also did not respond to a request on its decision to air the attack ad.
Attempts to reach Black Voters Matter Action PAC were unsuccessful.
The Super PAC airing the ad has been active in southern states, and gained most attention for its work in Georgia’s high-profile U.S. Senate races since 2020. Filings to the Federal Election Commission show a major source of its funds is George Soros, who through his Democracy PAC has given the group more than a million dollars.
Cameron has long faced political attacks centered on his race. During his successful 2019 campaign for attorney general, the Lexington Herald-Leader ran a political cartoon portraying Cameron riding the coattails of the Ku Klux Klan.

In 2020, the refrain that “<a href="https://freebeacon.com/politics/msnbc-guest-derides-black-kentucky-ag-as-skin-folk-but-not-kinfolk/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">skinfolk ain’t kinfolk</a>” was targeted at him due to his prosecutorial decisions surrounding the death of Breonna Taylor. At the time, Cameron called the attacks focused on his race “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/watch-kentucky-ag-fires-back-at-critics-calling-him-race-traitor-over-breonna-taylor-case-it-is-repugnant-its-par-for-the-course?utm_source=facebook&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=mjk" target="_blank" rel="noopener">repugnant</a>.”
The saying is credited to author Zora Neale Hurston, and is used in modern politics to suggest “that some people of color may be agents of white supremacy and may actively discriminate against people of their same racial group,” according to scholars on the issue.
Cameron told The Daily Wire that “in Kentucky, you shouldn’t be judged by the color of your skin, but by the content of your character.”
Voters will choose whether or not they want to stick with Beshear on November 7. Polling in the state has been sparse, but shows Beshear in the lead.

A woman who was pumped with testosterone and underwent hormone therapy when she was a young teenager is suing both her doctors and the American Academy of Pediatrics, which her lawyers say has knowingly lied about the impact of the radical sex-change treatments it recommends, according to a <a href="https://dw-wp-production.imgix.net/2023/10/Ayala-v-AAP-Complaint_stamped.pdf">copy of the lawsuit</a> obtained exclusively by The Daily Wire.
Isabelle Ayala, now a twenty-year-old woman, had just turned fourteen when she was committed to the hospital for suicidal thoughts, according to the lawsuit. It was during this hospital stay that she met with Dr. Jason Rafferty, who during his first brief meeting with Ayala determined that she “meets criteria to consider hormonal transition,” with the only stated obstacle being parental consent. The lawsuit states that Rafferty and other doctors sent Ayala down the &#8220;path of &#8216;gender-affirming&#8217; medicalization&#8221; rather than addressing the true roots of her mental health problems — six months into her testosterone treatments, Ayala tried to commit suicide.
The treatments, however, continued, until Ayala moved away from Rhode Island and decided to quit them &#8220;cold-turkey.&#8221; Now comfortable with her gender, she regrets what the doctors did to her, the lawsuit says.
&#8220;Isabelle is now twenty years old and longs for what could have been and to have her healthy, female body back,&#8221; it says. &#8220;The changes the testosterone have had on her body are a constant reminder that she needed an unbiased medical expert willing to evaluate her mental health and provide her the care she needed, rather than a group of ideologues set on promoting their own agenda and furthering a broader conspiracy at her expense.&#8221;
The lawsuit not only goes after the doctors who treated Ayala, but also the American Academy of Pediatrics, where Rafferty and his colleagues worked to publish a now-infamous <a href="https://www.aap.org/en/news-room/news-releases/aap/2018/aap-policy-statement-urges-support-and-care-of-transgender-and-gender-diverse-children-and-adolescents/">policy statement</a> advocating for aggressive gender treatments for children. Lawyers for Ayala say the policy statement laid the groundwork for an &#8220;entirely new model of treatment&#8221; based on &#8220;outright fraudulent representations&#8221; of scientific proof.
&#8220;Defendants have doubled- and tripled-down on their commitment to the policy statement and its &#8216;affirmative model&#8217; of treatment, while continuing to promote and profit off it,&#8221; the lawsuit states, alleging that Ayala and other children are &#8220;victims of a conspiracy entered into and perpetuated to the present day by certain ideologically captured individuals in positions of power at the American Academy of Pediatrics.&#8221;
The American Academy of Pediatrics has been a staunch supporter of radical gender ideology, with Daily Wire commentator Matt Walsh saying it has been &#8220;ideologically captured&#8221; by leftist activists. Walsh wrote in August 2022 that the policy statement on how to care for &#8220;transgender and gender-diverse children and adolescents reads like a trans activism manifesto, not a medical guide.&#8221;

Rafferty was the lead author for the policy statement, and the lawsuit argues he&#8217;s used it to launch his medical career.
&#8220;[Rafferty] has gone from a little-known resident during his time drafting the Gender Policy Statement to having a highly successful practice in pediatric gender care and considered a leading authority on the subject, all while operating under the imprimatur of the authority he falsely created,&#8221; it says.
Among the other doctors involved in treating Ayala at the Hasbro Children’s Hospital Gender Clinic in Rhode Island was Dr. Michelle Forcier, a proponent of so-called &#8220;gender affirming care&#8221; for children whose perspective was featured in Walsh&#8217;s &#8220;What Is A Woman?&#8221; documentary. Ayala told Forcier that she was &#8220;increasingly depressed and anxious&#8221; with the testosterone treatments, but she did nothing to intervene.
The lawsuit argues that Forcier has also boosted her career through advocacy for radical treatments, pointing to her appearing in the &#8220;What Is A Woman?&#8221; documentary. The lawsuit notes that Forcier &#8220;was prominently featured in one of the most viewed documentaries of all time in 2022 as a leading expert in pediatric gender care and puberty blockers.&#8221;
In the interview, Forcier denies the existence of reality when it comes to gender. Asked whether it&#8217;s possible to know the gender of a chicken laying an egg, Forcier stated that it&#8217;s only possible to assign that chicken a gender.

Both doctors Rafferty and Forcier were named in a <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12654975/Detransitioner-multiple-personality-gender-reassignment.html">Friday lawsuit filed by the same law firm</a>, Campbell Miller Payne PLLC.  That suit is on behalf of a woman with multiple personality disorder who says she was pressured by the doctors into undergoing aggressive testosterone treatments and is now dealing with the painful and permanent side effects.
Ayala is &#8220;an unfortunate victim of a collection of actors who prioritized politics and ideology over children’s safety, health, and well-being,&#8221; the lawsuit filed on her behalf states. She had suffered with her mental health ever since being a victim of sexual abuse, long before she began entertaining the idea of gender transition as a solution to her depression. The lawsuit says that Rafferty, Forcier, and other doctors failed to even consider other options to address her mental health before putting her on an aggressive hormone and testosterone regimen.
Ayala told her doctors that she was concerned about losing the ability to give birth, but they put her on the treatments anyway, without disclosing the potential harm the drugs administered could have on the reproductive system.
The lawsuit says that Ayala is worse off now than before she was treated by the doctors, and asks that they be held &#8220;accountable for their wrongful acts.&#8221;
&#8220;Isabelle has suffered from vaginal atrophy from the extensive use of testosterone; she deals with excess facial and body hair; she struggles with compromised bone structure; she is unsure whether her fertility has been irreversibly compromised; she still has mental health issues and deals with episodes of anxiety and depression, further compounded by a sense of regret; and she has since contracted an autoimmune disease that only the males in her family have a history of,&#8221; the lawsuit explains.
The lawsuit comes as the number of detransitioners who regret undergoing sex-change treatments spike in the United States. Nonprofit group Do No Harm published a &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/detransitioner-bill-of-rights-gives-states-blueprint-to-push-back-on-radical-gender-ideology">Detransitioner Bill Of Rights</a>&#8221; earlier this month, laying out a legislative blueprint for empowering victims to go after medical professionals who administered treatments and help with reversing the effects of gender transition surgeries.

The graphic design platform Canva announced late Wednesday that it was removing content by Students for Justice in Palestine, an anti-Semitic campus group that was using the platform to organize rallies in support of the Hamas terrorists who murdered hundreds of Israelis on Saturday.
The campus group used Canva, an Australia-based software, to create templates for its chapters to promote coordinated pro-Hamas rallies on Thursday, which the group labeled a &#8220;Day of Resistance.&#8221; One of the graphics created on Canva portrayed Palestinian protesters along with a terrorist parachuting down — a depiction of how terrorists infiltrated Israel for its deadly surprise attack.
Hours after it was alerted of the templates by <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/campus-anti-semites-plot-day-of-resistance-in-support-of-hamas">The Daily Wire</a>, Canva said the templates, which were distributed to chapters across the globe, were a violation of its terms of service.
&#8220;Violence of any kind goes against everything we stand for and we have strict guidelines in our Terms of Use to take action against Canva being used for harm,&#8221; a company spokesman said late Wednesday. &#8220;This imagery explicitly references an act of violence from recent events, which goes against our policies and has been taken down.&#8221;
&#8220;We’re devastated by the terrible acts of violence taking place across Israel and Gaza, and our hearts go out to everyone impacted by these tragic events,&#8221;  the spokesman added.

&#8220;As the Palestinian student movement, we have an unshakable responsibility to join the call for mass mobilization,&#8221; it said in the document distributed to chapters, which urged them to use the Canva graphics to promote the rallies.
Canva&#8217;s <a href="https://www.canva.com/policies/terms-of-use/">website states</a> that the platform cannot be used to discriminate others based on factors such as “race, religion, ancestry, or national origin,”and cannot be used “to incite or promote hostility or violence.”

Graphic Design Giant Canva Drops Anti-Israel Campus Group

Disney has failed to make any inroads with conservative Americans who turned on the entertainment industry giant over its woke politics, according to results from a new Rasmussen Reports survey previewed exclusively by The Daily Wire.
Just over 60% of Republicans have an unfavorable opinion of Disney, including 35% who say they have a “very unfavorable&#8221; opinion, the survey <a href="https://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/partner_surveys/has_politics_damaged_disney_s_brand">conducted by Rasmussen</a> in late September found. The results are starkly divided by political identity. While among Republicans only 32% have a favorable view and 61% have an unfavorable view, for Democrats the results are almost exactly the opposite — 61% of Democrats view Disney favorably and just 29% unfavorably.
The polling indicates that Disney’s woke politics have a real-time impact on its standing popularity. A March 2022 poll conducted as Disney was in the middle of a high-profile fight with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis found the company in a similarly poor position — Republicans viewed Disney by a nearly identical margin, with 29% favorable and 64% unfavorable. The results for Democrats — 58% favorable and 29% unfavorable — also closely mirror what was found in last week’s survey. That poll was conducted just days after then-CEO Bob Chapek<a href="https://www.npr.org/2022/03/08/1085130633/disney-response-florida-bill-dont-say-gay" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> publicly chastised</a> DeSantis for targeting the LGBTQ community.

Disney&#8217;s best polling performance, on the other hand, came earlier this year in March, when only 54% of Republicans viewed it unfavorably. That poll was conducted after Chapek was replaced at the helm of Disney by its former CEO, Bob Iger, who <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/new-disney-ceo-says-company-will-quiet-things-down-regrets-predecessor-battled-desantis" target="_blank" rel="noopener">pledged</a> to “quiet things down” on the political front.
But Iger has failed to steer Disney clear of politics. Disney embroiled itself in viral controversy in August over comments made by the lead actress in its remake of &#8220;Snow White,&#8221; Rachel Zegler, who called the classic love story “extremely dated” and labeled Snow White’s prince “a guy who literally stalks her. Weird. Weird.”

A <a href="https://news.gallup.com/opinion/gallup/511346/fewer-americans-back-businesses-wading-current-events.aspx">Gallup poll released this week</a> found that nearly 60% of Americans think companies should avoid politics, up from 52% last year. Only 37% of Americans think businesses should take a public stance on &#8220;LGBTQ+ issues,&#8221; the poll found.
The company’s embrace of radical politics has been in the works for years. In 2019, Disney executives threatened to boycott the state of Georgia if it passed legislation restricting abortions. The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/new-york">New York</a> judge presiding over former President Donald Trump&#8217;s jury-free fraud trial is a lifelong Democratic donor who has spent thousands of dollars on partisan political contributions, according to campaign finance records.
Judge Arthur Engoron, who attracted ire on Monday after he appeared to pose for cameras during the trial, has contributed exclusively to Democrats over the past 25 years, most of them directly to his local Democratic Party committees. New York&#8217;s campaign finance database shows Engoron has contributed over $5,000 to candidates and committees, including most recently in 2018 to the Manhattan Democrats.
Engoron has unique control over Trump&#8217;s legal fate. New York&#8217;s case against Trump is being carried out as a bench trial, meaning he will not only preside over the case, but will also determine guilt and sentencing. Engoron ruled last week that no trial was needed to determine that Trump had consistently committed fraud by overstating the value of his assets, and revoked Trump&#8217;s licenses to operate his New York properties.
Now the state wants Engoron to impose a massive $250 million penalty, and permanently banish Trump from doing business in New York.
Trump last week called Engoron a &#8220;deranged, Trump-hating judge&#8221; who should be disbarred. During a break in the proceedings on Monday, the former president complained that Engoron had already made up his mind on the case.
“We’re going to be here for months with a judge that already made up his mind. It’s ridiculous,” Trump <a href="https://twitter.com/TPostMillennial/status/1708894936576200968" rel="noopener">said</a>. “He’s a Democrat judge. He’s an operative. And it’s ridiculous.”
Contribution records show Engoron has contributed only to Democrats. Though most of his contributions went to local Democratic committees, he has also contributed to Democratic candidates such as former New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, former Governor David Paterson, and several state lawmakers.
The partisan contributions will likely fuel allegations that this case is being brought for political reasons. Trump&#8217;s supporters argued on Monday after the footage of Engoron smiling in court that the New York justice system was being weaponized against political enemies.
&#8220;To the Left, there are only allies or enemies,&#8221; <a href="https://twitter.com/StephenM/status/1708860231181090982">said</a> Stephen Miller, a former adviser in Trump’s White House. &#8220;And the more they judge someone the latter, the more they will weaponize the ‘justice’ system against them. This is our brave new world.&#8221;
“I’ve never seen anything more inappropriate in my life,” Jesse Binnall, an attorney for Trump <a href="https://twitter.com/NEWSMAX/status/1708866931158376619">but not in the New York fraud case</a>, said during an appearance on Newsmax.
Legal commentator Jonathan Turley also questioned the political motive behind Engoron&#8217;s decision to allow cameras in the room in the first place.
&#8220;People looking at this picture right now will be either filled with rage or thrilled, and that&#8217;s a problem,&#8221; Turley said as footage rolled that showed the jovial judge smiling in court. &#8220;They&#8217;re insisting this trial occur during an election. Many people find it troubling.&#8221;

Trump holds a commanding lead in the Republican primary, and is widely expected to be the party&#8217;s candidate in 2024. He is also facing legal trouble across the country, including a federal probe related to his handling of classified documents, and charges in Georgia based on claims that he violated the state&#8217;s anti-racketeering law through his attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
Engoron in 2022 said Trump invited legal cases against him because he was &#8220;<a href="https://www.huffpost.com/entry/bad-guy-trump-letitia-james-judge-arthur-engoron_n_620ed544e4b0f701fd702d3e">just a bad guy.</a>&#8221;
A spokesman for the court did not respond to a request for comment on the donations.

A Democratic congressman and major Democratic campaign committee together paid a firm run by a foreign national more than $700,000 for campaign work, a blatant violation of federal election law, according to a <a href="https://dw-wp-production.imgix.net/2023/09/65db76_4b542ce274a4417f807f5f26f5406609.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">watchdog complaint</a>.
Both Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee have paid for the services of La Machine, an Arizona-based firm run by Antonio Valdovinos, who regularly touts his status as a foreign national living in the United States thanks to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. But despite laws in place forbidding foreign nationals from working on U.S. political campaigns or even contributing money to them, Valdovinos has done both, according to a complaint from the Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust (FACT).
&#8220;Foreign nationals are barred from contributing in any substantive way, both financially or strategically, and given the facts here this is precisely what appears to have happened — repeatedly,&#8221; said Kendra Arnold, the watchdog group&#8217;s executive director. &#8220;The monetary political donations made by Mr. Valdovinos would be egregious violations in and of themselves, and the fact he literally created a political consulting firm with a significant client list and billings is truly beyond the pale.&#8221;
The complaint to the Federal Election Commission (FEC), obtained exclusively by The Daily Wire, lays out massive payments to Valdovinos&#8217; firm, as well as several political donations from Valdovinos to federal candidates.
The firm, La Machine, was paid handsomely by the DSCC, earning $710,000 for &#8220;voter canvassing&#8221; in the final three months of 2022, according to <a href="https://www.fec.gov/data/disbursements/?data_type=processed&amp;committee_id=C00042366&amp;recipient_name=La+Machine" target="_blank" rel="noopener">campaign finance disclosures</a>. The campaign committee for Ruben Gallego, Gallego For Arizona, has separately paid La Machine $211,587.66 for services including petition gathering and consulting services. The <a href="https://lamachineconsulting.com/">firm&#8217;s website</a> lists Gallego, as well as his wife and other Arizona Democrats, as its clients.
Valdovinos also made at least seventeen contributions to federal candidates beginning in 2019 and as recently as 2022, the <a href="https://www.fec.gov/data/receipts/individual-contributions/?contributor_name=antonio+valdovinos&amp;contributor_zip=85004" target="_blank" rel="noopener">disclosures show</a>, all of which the complaint states are illegal.
Neither Valdovinos, Gallego, nor the DSCC responded to a request for comment.
Valdovinos&#8217;s relationship with Gallego, as well as his immigration status, is no secret. The foreign national was Gallego&#8217;s guest at the 2018 State of the Union address due to his status as a so-called &#8220;Dreamer.&#8221;
&#8220;Like so many Dreamers, Antonio is a patriotic young man who is working hard and contributing to our community,&#8221; Gallego said at the time. &#8220;And like hundreds of thousands of Dreamers across this country, his life was placed in limbo when Donald Trump made the cruel and callous decision to end the DACA program.&#8221;
There was even an off-Broadway musical made about Valdovinos and his political work called, ¡Americano! Because We’re All Dreamers. Valdovinos was involved as the show&#8217;s producer, according to a <a href="https://www.forbes.com/sites/courtstroud/2022/05/16/how-a-dreamers-secret-inspired-the-creative-team-behind-americano-the-musical/?sh=5f57b05d4e3e" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Forbes interview</a>.
Federal courts have consistently ruled that the <a href="https://www.npr.org/2023/09/14/1199428038/federal-judge-again-declares-that-daca-is-illegal#:~:text=Federal%20judge%20again%20declares%20that%20DACA%20is%20illegal%20The%20U.S.,Supreme%20Court%20a%20third%20time." target="_blank" rel="noopener">DACA program is illegal</a>, including as recently as this month. There is also precedent from the Federal Election Commission on cases similar to Valdovinos&#8217; where they ruled that the so-called Dreamers are indeed barred from political activity.
In 2019 after a complaint was filed regarding foreign nationals working for Bernie Sanders&#8217; presidential campaign, the defendants attempted to argue that &#8220;DACA recipients are in a special category of foreign nationals for which the foreign national prohibition is of far less concern, and that enforcing it against them would violate their First Amendment rights.&#8221;
The FEC, however, ruled otherwise and stated that DACA recipients are in fact foreign nationals. &#8220;DACA status does not confer citizenship, lawful permanent residence, or any other immigration status,&#8221; the FEC wrote in its ruling. &#8220;Thus, at the time of their employment by the [Bernie Sanders campaign], the [three DACA recipients] were foreign nationals under the Act.&#8221;
FEC Commissioner Ellen Weintraub <a href="https://www.fec.gov/resources/cms-content/documents/Chair_Weintraub_on_Illegal_Foreign_Contributions.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">stated in 2019</a> that the caselaw was clear on the topic of foreign nationals involving themselves in U.S. politics.
&#8220;Let me make something 100% clear to the American public and anyone running for public office: It is illegal for any person to solicit, accept, or receive anything of value from a foreign national in connection with a U.S. election,&#8221; Weintraub said. &#8220;This is not a novel concept.&#8221;
&#8220;Anyone who solicits or accepts foreign assistance risks being on the wrong end of a federal investigation. Any political campaign that receives an offer of a prohibited donation from a foreign source should report that offer to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.&#8221;
