One of the anti-racist activists featured in “Am I Racist?” is privately attacking the Matt Walsh film to her supporters as a “fascist Nazi white supremacy film,” according to <a href="https://thepostmillennial.com/anti-racist-authors-saira-rao-regina-jackson-claim-they-were-conned-into-appearing-in-matt-walshs-fascist-nazi-white-supremacy-film-am-i-racist">The Post Millennial</a>. 
Rao, who has gained prominence in recent years for challenging white women to accept their racism, is warning her fans that she was “conned” into being a part of the film, and imploring them not to see the movie, a source who attended one of Rao&#8217;s events told the outlet. 
“By the way, we should tell you,&#8221; Rao told a group attending a virtual anti-racism book club, according to the source. &#8220;We haven’t even talked about this. We are the subjects of an upcoming Matt Walsh, Ben Shapiro film. All the big cinemas are carrying this Nazi s***, Regal, AMC.&#8221; 
&#8220;Don&#8217;t go see it because nobody needs to pay that dude money, but Regina and I along with a crew of maybe half a dozen other people including Robin DiAngelo were conned into being part of this fascist Nazi white supremacy film,&#8221; she said, The Post Millennial reports. &#8220;So, anyway. You can Google it.&#8221;

Rao and her business partner Regina Jackson offer what they call Race2Dinner, in which white women pay for a two-hour meal with the pair of anti-racism activists. The meals “require white women to participate in very direct, exceedingly difficult conversations” about racism. 
In &#8220;Am I Racist?,&#8221; Walsh attends one of these dinners and gets the white women to literally toast being racist, a clip of the film shows.

Rao’s recent comments on the film came during a Race2Reading event, a virtual book club series that spun off from the dinner series, The Post Millennial explains. It occurred on August 14, and cost $50 to join.
The virtual event was advertised as &#8220;an enriching experience in an intimate setting.&#8221;
The Post Millennial&#8217;s Libby Emmons writes that it&#8217;s a shame Rao and Jackson&#8217;s followers won&#8217;t go see &#8220;Am I Racist?&#8221;
&#8220;Undoubtedly, the dutiful white women will not go see the film,&#8221; Emmons writes. &#8220;If they did, they would see an honest account of their dinner series, where white women hang onto Rao and Jackson&#8217;s every word as tightly as they grip the stems of their wine glasses.&#8221;
The two women are the co-authors of &#8220;<a href="https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/669854/white-women-by-regina-jackson-and-saira-rao/">White Women: Everything You Already Know About Your Own Racism and How to Do Better.</a>&#8221;
Rao and Jackson are not the only activists featured in the film attacking it as it hits theaters. Robin DiAngelo, the prominent anti-racist author of White Fragility, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/robin-diangelo-breaks-am-i-racist-silence-says-she-got-played-by-borat-style-mockumentary">told her followers</a> on Thursday that she got played by &#8220;a Borat-style mockumentary&#8221; that is &#8220;designed to humiliate and discredit anti-racist educators and activists.&#8221;
Another activist who appears in the film <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/activist-featured-in-am-i-racist-moana-clip-rails-against-film-piece-of-s">called it</a> a &#8220;piece of s***.&#8221;
&#8220;<a href="https://www.amiracist.com/">Am I Racist?</a>&#8221; opens today in over 1,500 theaters.

Saira Rao Privately Slams ‘Am I Racist?’ As ‘Nazi White Supremacy Film’

Anti-racism activist Robin DiAngelo is breaking her silence on the upcoming ‘Am I Racist?’ film, laying out how Daily Wire host Matt Walsh &#8220;deceived&#8221; her into appearing in what she describes as “a Borat-style mockumentary&#8230;designed to humiliate and discredit anti-racist educators and activists.” 
In a note on her website titled “<a href="https://www.robindiangelo.com/about-that-film/">About That Film</a>,” the &#8220;White Fragility&#8221; author says the “sequence of events” that ended with her taking $30 out of her purse to pay reparations to a black producer on set was “unsettling,” and that she figured out she “had been played” before the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7PA_kshZh0">trailer for the film</a> was released in July. 
“After reviewing the sequence of events and discussing it with colleagues, I realized that they had lied about their agenda and I had been played,” DiAngelo says. 
But it wasn’t until after seeing the trailer for the film, which opens in theaters across the country this Friday, that she realized the interview was not “meant to support the anti-racist cause.”
“It is not titled Shades of Justice nor is it meant to support the anti-racist cause,” DiAngelo writes. “It is a Borat-style mockumentary titled Am I Racist? and designed to humiliate and discredit anti-racist educators and activists.”

DiAngelo is featured in the film, one of Walsh’s many interview subjects. Walsh, sporting a man bun, convinces DiAngelo she had a “powerful opportunity” to display her commitment to anti-racism by giving his black producer, Ben, money from her purse. 
In her statement, DiAngelo claims she detected the wig and other things that “felt off,” but thought that Walsh “seemed earnest.”
“When I arrived for the interview, a few things felt off,” DiAngelo writes. “The grips would not make eye contact with me and the interviewer, who was introduced as ‘Matt,’ appeared to be wearing an ill-fitting wig. Matt presented himself as someone new to antiracist work and seemed earnest, and his questions did not come across as adversarial.”
She says the reparations segment, however, “got weird.” Here’s how she remembers it: 
<blockquote>“Matt asked what I thought about reparations for Black Americans. I said that I agreed with reparations but that it was not my area of expertise. He then pulled up a chair and invited a Black crew-member who went by “Ben” to sit with us, took out his wallet and handed Ben some cash. He said that if I believed in reparations, I should also give Ben cash. While some Black people have asked white people to engage in reparations by giving directly to individuals, reparations are generally understood as a systemic approach to past and current injustice. The way Matt set this up felt intended to put Ben and I on the spot. Because Matt was pushing this on us, I expressed my discomfort and checked in with Ben, to be sure he was okay with receiving cash in this way. Ben reassured me that he was, so I went to my wallet and handed him my cash and the interview ended.”</blockquote>
DiAngelo confesses that she took $15,000 to do the interview, but has since donated the money to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. It is unclear whether she included the $30 reparations payment in her donation.
DiAngelo says she will not be &#8220;deceived&#8221; again, and that she will not see the film.
“This experience has reinforced for me how critically important it is to do in-depth background research before making yourself vulnerable to people you don’t know, or believing and sharing what you see online,” she says. “I have not seen the film nor do I plan to watch it, so I don’t know what they have used of my interview or how they have edited it. 
She also says that the agenda for the film is clear, quoting Daily Wire co-CEO Jeremy Boreing’s statement that diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is the “next pillar of the woke mind virus that’s about to topple.”
DiAngelo ends her statement with a prediction: “They will not prevail in their efforts to stop the work for racial justice.”
Walsh responded to DiAngelo&#8217;s statement on X, saying she was &#8220;correct&#8221; in her assessment of his intentions.

Months after exposing how online service providers had become a “secret tool” to censor conservatives, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) unveiled legislation that would combat politically motivated censorship carried out by tech companies through “discriminatory terms of service policies.”
Cruz, who in an <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/ted-cruz-exposes-the-lefts-newest-strategy-for-censoring-conservatives" target="_blank" rel="noopener">April report</a> laid out how companies like Eventbrite withheld their services from conservatives over politics, says these powerful tech giants would have to be transparent about how they’re “weaponizing” terms of service to block conservatives from using their products.
“As my Committee investigation revealed, Big Tech is increasingly weaponizing their broadly-worded terms of service agreements to silence and deny conservatives access to essential business technology,” Cruz said on Thursday. “The free flow of information through freedom of speech is the bedrock of our democratic republic, which is why online service providers should, at the very least, be required to be transparent about their political discrimination.”
His legislation, the Transparency in Enforcement, Restricting, and Monitoring of Services, or <a href="https://dw-wp-production.imgix.net/2024/07/2024.07.31-TERMS-ACT-RIL24770.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TERMS Act</a>, would not only require public disclosure of terms of service, but also that companies give users advance written notice of termination or cancellation that explains how the user violated the acceptable use policy. 
The bill states that companies must disclose &#8220;the specific act or practice of the user that led to the decision to restrict the user.&#8221;
The legislative push comes after Cruz exposed how Eventbrite blocked organizations from using its service to plan events around <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/videos/what-is-a-woman" target="_blank" rel="noopener">What Is A Woman?</a>, the hit documentary film starring Daily Wire host Matt Walsh. The event company, which controls nearly half of the online event management market, claimed mere screenings of the film violated their Hateful Events Policy, and yanked pages for events across the country from its platform. 
Cruz revealed to The Daily Wire in April that these decisions were made without even seeing the film. 
“Eventbrite said that its decision to cancel the &#8216;What is a Woman?&#8217; event was based in a large part on their objection to the film itself,” Cruz said. “But then they couldn’t identify anything with the film that violated its terms of service.”
“They canceled the event without watching the movie,” Cruz explained, calling it “brazen abuse of power” that’s carried out in “an explicitly ideological leftist way to silence conservative voices while not silencing those voices on the left.”
Other conservatives targeted through terms of service that were identified by Cruz included Libs of TikTok, which was kicked off Slack without warning because its posts “incite hatred,” and Riley Gaines, who was also blocked from using Eventbrite for stating that women don’t have a Y chromosome. 
Walsh praised Cruz’s investigation in April, saying it confirmed everything he assumed about why Eventbrite targeted the film without explanation.
“Conservatives have long suspected they’re being deplatformed for fraudulent, politically motivated reasons,” Walsh said. “This congressional investigation confirms it.”
While Cruz seems to acknowledge that terms of service can be levied however private companies choose, he said the transparency still serves an important purpose. 
“The TERMS Act will force Big Tech to disclose its discriminatory policies upfront, allowing consumers to take their business elsewhere if they so choose,” Cruz explained.
He is joined on the legislation by Republican Senators Roger Wicker (R-MS) and Eric Schmitt (R-MO), who are also members of the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce.

A congressional investigation has uncovered overt political bias in the leadership of an advertising coalition that’s being used to control online speech, according to a <a href="https://dw-wp-production.imgix.net/2024/07/2024-07-10-GARMs-Harm-How-the-Worlds-Biggest-Brands-Seek-to-Control-Online-Speech.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">House Judiciary Committee report</a> released on Wednesday ahead of a hearing on whether advertisers are violating federal competition laws.
The report on the Global Alliance for Responsible Media, or GARM, accuses the group of attempting to influence what content appears online by starving disfavored content, or even entire platforms, of advertising dollars needed to survive. Internal emails obtained by the committee found that GARM’s leadership strategized how to use the coalition against news outlets, including The Daily Wire, with opposing views from its leadership.
“GARM and its members discussed a strategy of blocking certain news outlets like Fox News, The Daily Wire, and Breitbart News,” the report states, pointing to an email from a top executive associated with the coalition stating that he “hated their ideology and bulls**t.”
One of the lead organizations in the coalition, GroupM, the world’s largest media buying agency, admits in emails that The Daily Wire is “on our Global High Risk exclusion list, categorized as Conspiracy Theories.”

GARM was formed by the World Federation of Advertisers in 2019, and was embraced as a “flagship project” of the World Economic Forum. Its stated goal is to create a “common understanding” in the advertising industry of “what harmful and sensitive content is” as well as “where ads should not appear,” basing it all on the importance of “brand safety” for its members.
The report exposes the political bias of Rob Rakowitz, GARM’s leader and co-founder, who in one email complains about people “advocating for freedom of speech online,” and about “extreme global interpretation of the US Constitution.” Rakowitz also criticizes the fact that the Constitution was written “by white men exclusively.”
“For an organization reliant on speech and persuasion in advertising, GARM appears to have anti-democratic views of fundamental American freedoms,” the report states, citing Rakowtiz’s emails.
Other entities targeted by GARM include Elon Musk’s Twitter, now X, after it was initially purchased by the tech billionaire. The report states that GARM tried to direct all of its members — corporate giants like Coca-Cola and Unilever who together account for 90% of global advertising dollars — to “stop all paid advertisement” on the platform after Musk purchased it. The report states that GARM “bragged about” the fact that Twitter was “80% below revenue forecasts” after its effort.

GARM also worked to pressure Spotify over Joe Rogan’s podcast, the report shows, specifically over the host’s claims that young, healthy people didn’t need a COVID vaccine. Rakowitz, GARM’s leader, admits in private emails that threats like the one it made to Spotify “gets us into hot water by way of anticompetitive and collusive behaviors.”
The committee report concludes that “GARM likely violated federal antitrust laws,” claiming that it found “direct evidence” that it was “demonetizing certain viewpoints to limit consumer choice” and therefore harmed consumers.
“Colluding to suppress voices and views disfavored by the leading marketers at the world’s largest companies and advertising agencies is core to GARM’s founding principles,” the report states.
In the emails between Rakowitz and the GroupM executives, Joe Barone and John Montgomery, a plan appears to be hatched to closely monitor The Daily Wire in hopes that they find a reason to censor the outlet — it’s a strategy that was used to censor Breitbart, the GroupM executive explains.
“There is an interesting parallel here with Breitbart,” Montgomery wrote in an October 2021 email after he was asked about The Daily Wire. “Before Breitbart crossed the line and started spouting blatant misinformation, we had long discussions about whether we should include them on our exclusion lists. As much as we hated their ideology and bulls**t, we couldn’t really justify blocking them for misguided opinion. We watched them very carefully and it didn’t take long for them to cross the line.”

He then recommends taking the same approach to The Daily Wire. “We should watch them carefully to make sure they don’t stoop below the GARM floor,” Montgomery writes, before being told by his colleague Barone that The Daily Wire was already on GroupM’s “Global High Risk exclusion list.”
Though the emails show Rakowitz discussing plans to censor specific outlets with GroupM, the committee report says he denied doing so in a transcribed interview with congressional investigators.
“When Mr. Rakowitz was asked by the Committee during his transcribed interview whether he discusses with GroupM its list of news outlets that are worthy of monetization, he denied doing so,” the report states. Rakowitz told the committee that he “won’t get into those conversations to keep myself compliant with our competition law policy.”
In addition to Shapiro, the CEO of GroupM, Christian Juhl, will also be a witness, Breitbart <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2024/07/08/jim-jordan-grill-executives-accused-colluding-silence-conservatives/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> on Monday.
The report outlines specific instances where GARM members used the coalition to get involved in U.S. elections — in one series of emails in October 2020, an executive for Unilever, which is based in the United Kingdom, tries to convince Facebook to take down a Donald Trump ad it viewed as misinformation. When Facebook explained that it has different standards for political speech, GARM leadership privately seethed.
“Honestly reprehensible,” Rakowitz wrote in an email to the Unilever executive, in reference to Facebook’s decision not to censor Trump.
The president of Unilever, a consumer goods giant that sits on GARM’s steering committee, will also testify at the hearing.
The message to Facebook, the emails obtained by the committee show, was that GARM wanted it to do more censorship — Rakowitz specifically wrote that the censorship efforts exhibited during COVID “should be the North Star” and urged it to do the same level of content moderation for elections.
“In other words, GARM pushed Facebook for coordinated action around the upcoming elections similar to the actions the platform took during the COVID-19 pandemic to censor speech,” the report states.
The committee report concludes that while any of these companies is free to advertise wherever they please, the collusion facilitated through GARM put it in violation of the law.
“Twenty years ago, the Supreme Court described collusion as “the supreme evil of antitrust.’ Today, this description remains true,” it states. “If collusion among powerful corporations capable of collectively demonetizing, and in effect eliminating, certain views and voices is allowed to continue, the ability of countless American consumers to choose what to read and listen to, or even have their speech or writing reach other Americans, will be destroyed.”

GARM Exposed: House Judiciary Report Says Ad Coalition Likely Broke Law To Silence Conservatives

The Daily Wire&#8217;s Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro is set to testify to Congress on Wednesday for its hearing on the Global Alliance for Responsible Media, which is under investigation by the House Judiciary Committee for organizing its member organizations to work in coordination to demonetize disfavored news outlets.
The Judiciary Committee&#8217;s investigation into GARM began more than a year ago, when Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) <a href="https://judiciary.house.gov/sites/evo-subsites/republicans-judiciary.house.gov/files/evo-media-document/2023-03-22-jdj-to-rakowitz-rajamannar-garm.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrote</a> to the head of GARM and its parent organization, the World Federation of Advertisers, to alert them that the committee believed GARM was &#8220;potentially violating U.S. antitrust law by coordinating their members’ efforts to demonetize and eliminate disfavored content online.&#8221; In the past year that investigation has <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/docs-show-corporate-giants-are-colluding-to-demonetize-conservative-platforms-judiciary-committee-says" target="_blank" rel="noopener">gotten more targeted</a>, with the committee specifically charging that GARM targeted conservative outlets including The Daily Wire, Breitbart, and Fox News.
Shapiro has also long had GARM in his sights — the advertiser coalition which controls 90% of global advertising dollars and counts the biggest corporations in the world as its members was the subject of the first episode of his Facts series. He described GARM as part of &#8220;a network of global elites who have created a universal framework full of guidelines and ratings designed to enforce ‘approved’ narratives and punish disapproved ones.&#8221;

Also testifying at the Judiciary hearing will be executives at Unilever, a consumer goods giant, and GroupM, the world&#8217;s largest media buying agency. Both are on the steering committee of GARM, and have been scrutinized by Jordan&#8217;s committee.
Jordan in letters to GARM members has said that documents the committee has obtained &#8220;directly connect&#8221; the steering committee with efforts to suppress conservative news, and show that the censorship efforts are due to politics, not the so-called &#8220;brand safety&#8221; claims that GARM bases its existence on.
“Evidence the Committee has obtained suggests that GARM members, led by Steer Team members, are colluding to demonetize conservative platforms and voices,&#8221; Jordan wrote in public correspondence to the companies. &#8220;Further, this coordination does not always revolve around ‘brand safety’ and ‘harmful’ content as GARM publicly claims, but instead the desire to censor conservative and other views that GARM members disfavor.&#8221;
GARM is a relatively new creation, created by the World Federation of Advertisers in 2019. Its flagship creation was the Brand Safety Floor &amp; Suitability Framework, which it hopes will be used by the entire ad industry to address the &#8220;challenge of harmful online content.&#8221;
Just months after GARM was launched, it was announced by the World Economic Forum that it would become a flagship project of its “Platform for Shaping the Future of Media, Entertainment and Culture.”
GARM’s stated goal is to create a &#8220;common understanding&#8221; in the whole industry of &#8220;what harmful and sensitive content is&#8221; as well as &#8220;where ads should not appear,&#8221; basing it all on the importance of &#8220;brand safety&#8221; for its members.
Shapiro has said that brand safety is &#8220;a dog whistle for censorship,&#8221; and that GARM has laid out subjective guidelines that can be used to censor news it doesn&#8217;t like.
&#8220;The framework lists subjective terms like hate speech as a problem — it says that anything surrounding transgenderism that they decide is dehumanizing or discussing what they deem to be a debated social issue in an insensitive way is off limits,&#8221; Shapiro said. &#8220;The framework is deliberately vague, allowing those in control to pick and choose how they enforce it and against whom.&#8221;
The Judiciary Committee under Jordan has already uncovered emails showing the White House pressuring social media giant Facebook to limit companies like The Daily Wire, which was the top publisher on the platform. In 2021 emails uncovered by Jordan&#8217;s committee, White House digital director Rob Flaherty suggested to Facebook that it &#8220;change the algorithm so that people were more likely to see NYT, WSJ, any authoritative news source over Daily Wire, Tomi Lahren, polarizing people.&#8221;
Members of the ad industry have called Jordan&#8217;s investigation an assault, complaining that the probe could have a “chilling effect” on its efforts to help companies responsibly spend their ad dollars.
The Judiciary Committee said the member companies know the Judiciary Committee has obtained evidence that will expose how &#8220;personal biases&#8221; drive its operations.
&#8220;These companies know the evidence collected shows that members of GARM have worked for years to spread their personal biases and censor conservative voices and journalists online,&#8221; a committee spokesman said. &#8220;These companies are simply trying to get ahead of the incriminating evidence before it becomes public.&#8221;
The Judiciary Committee subpoenaed both GARM and the WFA after it failed to produce requested documents last year. The head of GARM, Rob Rakowitz, agreed to voluntarily appear for transcribed testimony after he was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/congress-calls-in-head-of-advertisers-alleged-censorship-operation-using-antitrust-laws-to-target-woke-collusion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">called on by the committee</a> in April.
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. (EST).

Tyson Foods, the U.S.-based meat supplier that&#8217;s grown to be one of the world&#8217;s largest companies, offered shirts to employees for its annual Juneteenth celebrations that literally cross out &#8220;July 4&#8221; as the nation&#8217;s Independence Day.
Emails obtained by The Daily Wire show the poultry industry giant selling shirts for its annual Juneteenth celebration that say the holiday, marking the day in 1865 that African Americans in Texas learned that slavery had been abolished in the United States, is the nation&#8217;s true independence day.
&#8220;Juneteenth is my Independence Day,&#8221; reads one shirt offered, while another, under a crossed out July 4 date, states, &#8220;Juneteenth 1865 because my ancestors weren&#8217;t free in 1776.&#8221; Many of the shirts also incorporate the black power fist.
After The Daily Wire inquired about the shirts offered for the celebration, a source inside Tyson Foods says their Virginia office was ordered to cancel the sale and refund any employee who purchased a shirt. Days later, a spokesman for Tyson said it was &#8220;unaware of the t-shirt designs.&#8221;

&#8220;Tyson Foods was unaware of the t-shirt designs proposed by a team member,&#8221; the spokesman said. &#8220;Upon review, it was determined that the t-shirts do not meet the company&#8217;s dress code policy, and they will not be sold or distributed.&#8221;
It is unclear how the shirts violate the dress code policy. The company did not respond to follow-up questions.
The Arkansas-based corporation has faced criticism for years for embracing far-left politics. It <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/tyson-foods-hiring-illegal-migrants-in-new-york-wants-more-theyre-very-very-loyal">openly declared</a> earlier this year that it wanted to hire as many illegal migrants as it could, even as it shut down a plant that employed over 1,000 people in Iowa, stating that illegal workers were &#8220;very, very loyal.&#8221;
Its website features a &#8220;<a href="https://www.tysonfoods.com/who-we-are/our-people/inclusion-diversity">Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion</a>&#8221; tab that highlights the existence of multiple internal identity groups, including ones for &#8220;Latinx&#8221; employees and another &#8220;Pride&#8221; group.

Numerous employees complained internally about the shirts offered for Juneteenth, which was made a national holiday by President Joe Biden in 2021. The shirts, according to the order form supplied to employees, were set to be created by a local vendor called Make It Happen Customz LLC.
The holiday, long celebrated locally in Texas, garnered nationwide attention as Black Lives Matter staged protests across the country in 2020 that were embraced by corporate America. Liberal commentators argued in 2020 that July 4 shouldn&#8217;t be celebrated because black Americans weren&#8217;t independent.
&#8220;Juneteenth — not the Fourth of July — was the real Independence Day,&#8221; wrote one author, further arguing that &#8220;it is difficult to take pride in being American&#8221; on July 4 because of the &#8220;intolerance and oppression&#8221; still present in society.

A Republican congressman says the Biden administration is conducting a &#8220;politicized&#8221; prosecution against the Texas surgeon who blew the whistle on Texas Children&#8217;s Hospital for conducting secret transgender surgeries, and is demanding transparency about why he was targeted, according to a Thursday letter obtained exclusively by The Daily Wire.
Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) is pressing Attorney General Merrick Garland and Health Secretary Xavier Becerra for all information regarding the decision to indict Dr. Eithan Haim, who was alerted by three armed agents at his house that he was being charged with federal crimes.
The exact charges to be brought remain unclear, even to Haim, as he awaits a formal hearing to learn about the charges. Crenshaw says in the letter that he&#8217;s &#8220;alarmed by the conduct&#8221; of the investigation into a whistleblower.
&#8220;This situation demands a thorough and transparent review to ensure that justice is served fairly and without political bias,&#8221; Crenshaw <a href="https://dw-wp-production.imgix.net/2024/06/Crenshaw-Letter-to-DOJ-and-HHS_6_13_24.pdf">writes in the Thursday letter</a>, going on to demand all communication relating to both the investigation of Haim and the decision to indict him.
The letter specifies that it is seeking documents not only from the Department of Justice and Department of Health and Human Services, but also from the Executive Office of the President.
Haim <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/a-doctor-blew-the-whistle-on-his-hospitals-transgender-clinic-now-the-feds-are-trying-to-ruin-his-life">revealed his identity</a> as the whistleblower in January, telling The Daily Wire he believed it was his &#8220;responsibility as a doctor to expose&#8221; what he saw at Texas Children&#8217;s Hospital, which continued to conduct sex-change procedures on children as it declared to the public that it halted the program.

Crenshaw told The Daily Wire that this is a prosecution that shouldn&#8217;t be happening.
&#8220;Flat out — the prosecutions should not be happening; that&#8217;s obvious to anyone following Dr. Haim&#8217;s story,&#8221; Crenshaw said. &#8220;Dr. Haim is a Texas doctor who took to heart his oath to do no harm.&#8221;
The Texas Republican said the Biden administration is &#8220;looking to make an example of him so that no one with a different viewpoint steps out of line.&#8221;
&#8220;The Left loves to champion a whistleblower, but when a doctor blows the whistle on the mutilation of children, Democrats conveniently forget their ‘principles,'&#8221; Crenshaw said.
Crenshaw&#8217;s letter indicates a belief that the investigation was carried out unethically, with the federal prosecutor pursuing a case without even reviewing evidence.
&#8220;A letter to Congress from Mr. Haim’s lawyers reveals that the DOJ prosecutor later admitted she had never reviewed the supposed evidence against Dr. Haim before considering him a target,&#8221; Crenshaw writes. &#8220;DOJ policy dictates that this must be done in advance. The DOJ prosecutor talked about aggressively prosecuting Dr. Haim, including charging him with a felony and trying him by jury even on a technicality. It appears that the prosecutor has now followed through on those threats and charged Dr. Haim with multiple felonies.&#8221;
Crenshaw said that this fight is about more than just Haim, and that the reason he&#8217;s being targeted is about precisely what he blew the whistle on.
&#8220;Americans do not want to see the next generation mutilated — that’s what this fight is about,&#8221; Crenshaw said.

EXCLUSIVE: Congress Probes Biden Admin’s ‘Politicized’ Prosecution Of Texas Whistleblower

WARNING: The below story includes graphic and disturbing content written by the shooter responsible for six deaths at the Covenant School on March 27, 2023.
The Covenant School shooter obsessed in her private journal over her desire to be a man, fantasizing about having an “imaginary penis” and lamenting that so-called gender affirming treatments weren’t available to her, according to images of her journal obtained by The Daily Wire.
The shooter’s handwritten journals, recovered by authorities at the scene of her deadly attack, have been hidden from the public for more than a year now, leaving unresolved questions about her motive to attack the private Christian school in March 2023. Images obtained by The Daily Wire from a source familiar with the Covenant investigation provide perhaps the most thorough illustration of her mental state in the days leading up to the shooting.
The images, first <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/episode/ep-1385-we-have-some-of-the-covenant-shooter-s-writings-here-s-what-they-say">revealed Wednesday by Daily Wire host Matt Walsh</a>, show the shooter was driven in part by anger over her gender identity as she wrote a three-page journal entry called “My Imaginary Penis.” The journal entries from March 11, 2023 — less than three weeks before the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/nashville-christian-school-shooter-identified-as-transgender-authorities" target="_blank" rel="noopener">transgender-identifying shooter’s horrific attack</a> — reveal both a fixation on her desire to be a man and anger at forces she believed stood in her way, including Christianity and her parents.
Fragments of the below journal entries have been reported on by the Tennessee Star, but this is the first publication of those pages in full.

The first entry that appears is fashioned as a letter to someone named “Paige.” It is unclear exactly who this is, though Paige is also the name of a woman the shooter played basketball with as a child who detailed to <a href="https://abcnews.go.com/US/friend-contacted-authorities-after-speaking-nashville-shooter-audrey/story?id=98182991" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ABC News</a> how the shooter had long been infatuated with her. Paige called authorities after the shooter messaged her on the morning before her attack.
The journal entry reveals disdain for Christianity, and specifically her parents’ alleged attempts to maintain religion in her life.
“It’s total ignorance when parents step in and try to change their child’s environment,” the shooter wrote. “Make them go to youth group and force Christian friends in their life because the old ones were a ‘bad’ influence, I can’t f***ing stand that sh**.”
“Parents actually believe religion can change nature,” the shooter wrote. “That could explain why I don’t practice religion anymore. Let kids think for themselves, listening to parents does no damned good but to mold their premature minds into a pre-formatted program.”
Officials have denied that there was evidence suggesting that The Covenant School, a private Christian school that the shooter attended as a child, was targeted because of animus toward religion. The mentions of Christianity, which appear throughout the journal entries, suggest that it certainly may have been a factor.
The remainder of the four pages, however, revolves around the shooter’s fixation on being a man, and suggests a serious case of gender dysphoria. She fantasized about what it would be like to have a penis.
“I want to know what that’s like, but I never will because I was damned to be born this way,” she wrote in the journal. “I swear to f*** I hate it so goddamned much. It’s a f***ing curse.”

The journal entry shows both anger at living through the “torture of being raised a girl,” as well as at her mother and “people in this world” for not accepting that she could change genders. She complains that for much of her life she “actually believed” she “had to deal with it” — until she learned that changing genders was “possible.”
“That didn’t last long after high school ended and no longer had to fear of being called a dyke or a fa**ot,” she writes. “It was only until my early 20s I finally found the answer — that changing one&#8217;s gender is possible, and who I really was I finally embraced to show.”
After more than a year of a near total lockdown on materials relating to the shooter, a flood of documents has come out in recent weeks. The leaked images further undermine official claims that there was no focus in her so-called manifesto about “specific political, religious, or social issues.”
Much of her anger was directed at her inability to get the treatments such as puberty blockers made available to children today.
“Children who were able to successfully take puberty blockers and never enter a tortured puberty, those little fa**ots don’t know how good they f***ing have it,” the shooter wrote. “I’d kill to have parents who would let their child be happy no matter how different it is to their viewpoints or dont agree or scared of it. They are willing to listen to their children, not the other way around. I’d kill to have those resources.”
She blamed not only her parents, but also their Christianity, the journal reveals.
“F*** parents like them who think of themselves first, and their preference of conservative religion,” the shooter writes in the entry on her imaginary penis.
She said in the journal that puberty was a “life sentence for her.”
“A bare flat chest made me free. Girl puberty imprisoned me. And so does my mind. Puberty = life sentence. The people in this world adds more bullets to shoot violent thoughts into my head on full-auto.”
Aside from <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/nashville-shooter-decried-crackers-and-white-privilege-leaked-manifesto-pages-reveal" target="_blank" rel="noopener">three pages</a> from her writings released last November by conservative commentator Steven Crowder, there has been a blackout of all materials that could provide insight into why she opened fire at the Christian school. Those pages showed the shooter rage about “white privilege” and state that she wanted to kill &#8220;crackers going to private fancy schools.”
That blackout appears to be due to a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/fbi-told-nashville-police-release-of-school-shooter-writings-would-lead-to-conspiracy-theories-inaccurate-info" target="_blank" rel="noopener">newly reported memo by the FBI</a>, in which the federal intelligence agency warned Nashville police that releasing her writings could result in “false narratives” that “may lead to unintended consequences for the segment of the population more vulnerable or open to conspiracy theories.”
The Tennessee Star <a href="https://tennesseestar.com/justice/audrey-hale-wrote-political-rant-about-guns-and-transgenderism-one-month-before-covenant-school-attack/tpappert/2024/06/05/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">revealed</a> last Wednesday, however, that it had reviewed nearly four dozen images of the shooter’s writings — including the entry on her “<a href="https://tennesseestar.com/justice/covenant-killer-audrey-hale-wrote-3-pages-in-journal-about-my-imaginary-penis/tpappert/2024/06/06/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">imaginary penis</a>.” Fox 17, a local Nashville outlet, also <a href="https://fox17.com/news/local/two-pages-of-covenant-shooters-audrey-hale-writings-released-to-fox-17-by-tennessee-star-nashville-green-hills-middle-tennessee-crime-metro-nashville-police" target="_blank" rel="noopener">published</a> an image from the journal on Monday afternoon, in which she refers to herself as the “most unhappy boy alive” and confesses to thinking of “death a lot.”
In addition to the journal entries, The Tennessee Star has reported that the Metro Nashville Police Department sought a search warrant for records from the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where the shooter had been a patient of mental health professionals for 22 years, according to an affidavit published by the Star last week. Vanderbilt has declined to answer questions about what kind of treatment she was receiving, including whether it was treating her apparent gender dysphoria. Vanderbilt did not respond to a request for comment.
Also revealed last week is the <a href="https://tennesseestar.com/justice/she-wanted-to-kill-you-99-7-wtns-brian-wilson-plays-police-interview-of-covenant-shooters-parents/mgiffin/2024/06/07/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">recording of police interviewing</a> the shooter’s parents, revealing to them that the shooter “wanted to kill” them. The investigators also ask the parents about her treatment at Vanderbilt.
She wrote in the journal that “puberty already hit” before puberty blockers were a medical possibility for her. It’s unclear where she learned this, or what the medical information her belief is based on. In the same entry, she also describes herself as having an “autistic brain.”
“I’d kill to have those resources; 2007 was the birth of puberty blockers and a newfound discovery for treatment of non-conforming transgender children. 2007 was when I was in the 6th grade. Puberty already hit me,” she wrote. “The only reason I could conclude why it didn’t bother me too much is that my boobs were small. I thought they’d stay that way forever. My autistic brain … change in body f**ked me over now, even if my boobs are still small for the most part.”
Elsewhere in the journal entry she describes at length graphic sexual games she would play with her stuffed animals, fantasizing that she was the boy performing sex acts on a girl doll. The margins of her journal entries are filled with immature sexual drawings.
“I can pretend to be them and do the things boys do and experience my boy self as Tony — my stuffed boy doll is like the boy I am in another form since childhood,” she writes in the journal. “I constructed him a penis, then got out my girl doll named Ashley (who is Tony’s life-long boyfriend) to have sex w/ Tony. Ashley was represented as my dream girl I wished to have in real life.”
The Daily Wire is not naming the shooter. Nashville police did not respond to a request for comment on the journal entries.
Walsh, after revealing the images on his show, addressed the FBI’s blackout demand, as well as Vanderbilt’s refusal to respond to questions about its years-long treatment of the shooter, calling the lack of transparency a “national scandal.”
“Contrary to what the FBI said, it’s the absence of transparency that leads to ‘false narratives’ like the ones we’ve seen in the last year about the Covenant shooting,” said Walsh. The point of transparency, he underscored, is not to “demonize” or “marginalize” anyone, but to “give the public the information it has a right to know — and to likely save people’s lives in the process.”
A Tennessee judge is set to rule in the coming weeks on whether Nashville police must release the shooter’s writings. The Tennessee Star, which has reported on the contents of several of the pages, is the plaintiff in the case, arguing for their full release.

Republican congressman Byron Donalds said it would be a &#8220;great honor&#8221; if former President Donald Trump were to ask him to be his running-mate for 2024, saying the ultimate goal is for Trump to win and he&#8217;ll do whatever he&#8217;s asked to help him do that.
Donalds, who was reportedly on a short list of contenders that the Trump campaign sent vetting paperwork to, told The Daily Wire that he thinks he has assets that would be beneficial for the campaign, and &#8220;would accept&#8221; if Trump made the offer.
&#8220;It&#8217;d be a great honor, but it&#8217;s his decision,&#8221; Donalds said in a Nashville interview with The Daily Wire. &#8220;He&#8217;ll decide what he wants to do and whatever his decision is, I&#8217;m going to support that.&#8221;
&#8220;I just want to win,&#8221; Donalds said. &#8220;I&#8217;m a real simple dude. I just want to win and be successful. That&#8217;s it.&#8221;
Though Donalds, like Trump, was born in New York City, he, like Trump, currently resides in Florida, where he&#8217;s been a member of Congress since 2021. He is widely viewed as an upcoming star in the Republican Party, and was even floated as a potential candidate for Speaker of the House after Kevin McCarthy was ousted last year.
Donalds says he thinks he has three assets that would help the presidential ticket this November, chiefly his ability to communicate &#8220;common sense&#8221; politics to independent voters.
&#8220;I think we&#8217;re at this point in the country where common sense is the true desire, not political ideology,&#8221; Donalds said, noting the shift away from Democrats among racial minorities. &#8220;I think it&#8217;s a good thing for America.&#8221;
Donalds also said he has a knowledge of how Congress works, and is a proven force on the campaign trail.
&#8220;What is an asset to the president is somebody who can make sure the wheels of Congress are moving to get the agenda done,&#8221; Donalds said. &#8220;The third part is, I think in this environment you gotta be able to go campaign and help him get across the line.&#8221;
Donalds is perhaps the most surprising name on the list of VP contenders, which also includes Republican Senators Tim Scott, JD Vance, Tom Cotton, and Marco Rubio. The other names on the shortlist are North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, and Donalds&#8217; House colleague, Elise Stefanik.

Eithan Haim, who revealed himself as the whistleblower earlier this year in an <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/a-doctor-blew-the-whistle-on-his-hospitals-transgender-clinic-now-the-feds-are-trying-to-ruin-his-life">interview with The Daily Wire</a>, says three armed agents arrived at his door early Tuesday to inform him that he&#8217;s been charged with four felonies. The charges are related to alleged HIPAA violations from when Haim, as a resident of Texas Children&#8217;s Hospital, was performing so-called &#8220;gender-affirming&#8221; procedures on minors even as it publicly declared that all such activity had been halted.
Haim says there is still uncertainty about what exactly he&#8217;s being charged with — he&#8217;s been ordered to appear in court next Monday where his legal team expects to learn the extent of the charges. He has long maintained that he committed no crimes, and is being politically targeted.
&#8220;I refuse to back down or to be silenced,&#8221; Haim, a practicing surgeon in Texas, <a href="https://x.com/EithanHaim/status/1798843426731114969">posted</a> on social media Thursday night. &#8220;But to win, we enter the arena. For us that&#8217;s federal court.&#8221;

In January, Haim told The Daily Wire that he had no regrets about coming forward to expose the transgender surgeries, saying it was his &#8220;responsibility as a doctor.&#8221;
&#8220;It’s my responsibility as a doctor, as a physician, to expose this to the public,&#8221; Haim said. &#8220;If I don’t, then this abuse can continue. I knew that future generations, like my children, would never be able to forgive me if they knew I had the chance to do something and I decided to stay silent.”
“It requires average, everyday doctors to stand up and speak out against things like this,” he said.
The indictment was <a href="https://christopherrufo.com/p/doj-indicts-doctor-who-exposed-the?utm_source=post-email-title&amp;publication_id=1248321&amp;post_id=145380307&amp;utm_campaign=email-post-title&amp;isFreemail=true&amp;r=30rzmr&amp;triedRedirect=true&amp;utm_medium=email">first reported</a> by journalist Christopher Rufo, who was also the journalist who reported on Haim&#8217;s initial whistleblower claims. Rufo says nothing shared with him would have constituted a HIPAA violation.
&#8220;For my own part, I can confirm that nothing in the information provided to me identified any individual; all the documents were, in fact, carefully redacted,&#8221; Rufo said.
Haim initially alerted last June, on the day of his graduation from his residency, that he was the target of an investigation by Biden&#8217;s Department of Justice, according to a target letter obtained by The Daily Wire.

Haim in January said the federal prosecution of him is political, and was determined not to back down to the federal government.
“Why should I be intimidated into silence when what we exposed was voted to become illegal, and I had not violated any privacy laws?” Haim said. “For me, it’s obvious that this is a political investigation in order to prevent this from happening at other hospitals that might be lying to the public about the existence of their programs.”
Since coming forward, Haim has <a href="https://www.givesendgo.com/texas_whistleblower">raised more than $289,000</a> for his legal defense.

Biden Admin Indicts Whistleblower Who Exposed Child Sex-Change Surgeries At Texas Children's Hospital

The Department of Justice official who left the Biden administration to work for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case against former President Donald Trump took a small pay cut to make the move, records suggest. 
Matthew Colangelo was the third-highest official at the DOJ, earning an annual salary of $183,100, according to <a href="https://www.fedsdatacenter.com/federal-pay-rates/index.php?y=all&amp;n=colangelo%2C+matthew&amp;l=&amp;a=DEPARTMENT+OF+JUSTICE&amp;o=">public salary records</a>. He left the job to relocate to New York and be a senior counsel for Bragg, where he now earns a reduced salary of $180,000 a year, the city’s <a href="https://data.cityofnewyork.us/widgets/k397-673e?mobile_redirect=true">salary database</a> shows.
His move from the prestigious post in Washington D.C. to a lower position in a district attorney office in New York has raised eyebrows from critics who say it is evidence that Biden’s administration had a hand in prosecuting Trump. 
The prosecution of the former president has faced widespread criticism for being politically motivated, and the key role of a Biden administration official in it has added fuel to the fire. The lack of any immediate financial benefit for Colangelo further gives the appearance that he joined the office to politically damage Trump, who has long made clear that he intended to challenge Biden in 2024. 
When Colangelo <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2022/12/05/nyregion/alvin-bragg-trump-investigation.html">announced</a> his move to the New York office in December 2022, it was explicitly to focus on the office’s “most sensitive and high-profile white-collar investigation.” Bragg hailed Colangelo for having “the sound judgment and integrity needed to pursue justice against powerful people and institutions when they abuse their power.”
He appears to have left with the blessing of Merrick Garland, who gave a statement to the New York Times praising him on his way out the door for his “wise counsel and excellent judgment” during his time at DOJ. Now Garland is <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/garland-pushed-to-provide-all-correspondence-between-doj-and-trump-prosecutors">forced to deny</a> any coordination after being accused on Capitol Hill of “dispatching Matthew Colangelo” to Manhattan.
“That is false. I did not dispatch Matthew Colangelo,” Garland said. “That is false.”
Garland said during his sworn testimony that he played no role in Colangelo getting the job, and furthermore that he has had no communication with Colangelo since he left. 
Colangelo is an overtly political figure. In 2018, during Trump’s first term, he was paid thousands of dollars by the Democratic National Committee for “political consulting,” Fox News <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ex-top-biden-doj-official-prosecuting-trump-once-paid-by-dnc-political-consulting">reported</a> last month. His wife, Anne Small, contributed thousands of dollars to Biden’s 2020 election campaign, Federal Election Commission <a href="https://www.fec.gov/data/receipts/individual-contributions/?committee_id=C00703975&amp;contributor_name=anne+small">records show</a>.
Judge Juan Merchan, who had issued a controversial gag order on Trump, also donated to an anti-Trump political group. And Bragg, the lead prosecutor, campaigned for his office on “getting” Trump. 
A conservative watchdog group has <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/bidens-number-3-at-doj-left-to-prosecute-trump-in-ny-a-lawsuit-seeks-insight-into-the-move">sued for all records</a> related to Trump while Colangelo was at the DOJ. The department failed to turn over the records for a public records request.
“No one leaves being the #3 at the Department of Justice to go work in a district attorney’s office–no matter which one it is,” said Gene Hamilton, the executive director of America First Legal. “There is no plausible explanation other than engagement in a coordinated campaign to target one man – President Trump.”
Though the move didn&#8217;t immediately benefit Colangelo, he has managed to morph from an unknown Democrat operative to one of the prosecutors who won a conviction against the former president. It is unclear whether Colangelo will remain in Bragg&#8217;s office after the case concludes.

The event, Flagstock 2024, will be held on Labor Day later this year, and will be free-of-charge for all invited guests. Though the exact location won&#8217;t be announced until closer to the event, organizers say &#8220;planning is in full swing.&#8221;

The fundraiser, which was closed after a few days, ended up at $515,517, leaving big expectations for the rager that was promised to the fraternity men.

Noonan has set up an organization, Pints for Patriots, to plan and execute the event and says that it will &#8220;ensure every cent of donor dollars goes to throwing these fine young Americans the epic rager they earned.&#8221;
One of the men who sprung into action said he felt compelled after seeing that his &#8220;country&#8217;s flag was disrespected in order to advocate for another,&#8221; and he posted video of the men getting profanities and projectiles launched at them as they stood strong to protect the flag.
